Laevateinn is an iron wand, just under a meter in length, shaped a bit like a twisted clock hand - it is, however, corkscrewed, not 'wavy' like in this image. She has no compunctions about using the wand itself as a melee weapon. The only special ability it has that she knows is that it can, if someone sends power 'through' it, emit a column/blade/vortex of supernatural flame. Flandre prefers to 'set' her blades at ~15 meters - this is because unless she specifically concentrates on how much power she's pouring into it, the blade 'flickers,' and can increase or decrease in length by 1-2 meters. Width increases as length does as well, but more slowly; the longest blade Flan can control effectively is 20 meters long, and the blade is about a meter across. The longest blade she can maintain is 80 meters long (the blade is ~3 meters across), but this is very difficult; the longest she knows the blade can extend is one hundred meters, but the time that happened she passed out because Laevateinn 'surged' and consumed all of her power.
Goodie!

Though, remembering the Spell Card, I'd like to ask; are the bullets generated in that card made from Laevateinn (or rather, its flame-blade) in any particular way, or is Flan spawning those bullets on her own?

Flan wondered what do bats do. Bats in the day sleep.
True, but they also tend to sleep with a bunch of other bats, don't they? (Do correct me if I'm wrong, it's late.)

One of the three megucas seemed to know enough about bats to know that they're not rodents, so the possibility of them realizing that bat's suspicious (and perhaps having already realized this) is certainly there; I don't want Flan to sleep on the off-chance this ends up being more than just a bit of shadowrunning on my part.

Generated by Flan, projected through Laevateinn by the properties of the spell card - it's not something she can do unless she's doing the Spell Card itself.

..... Just to ask. If or when Flandre finds the Internet.

Can she watch this?

Edit
Also found this one. Nothing can go wrong.

A drink later there were five.

Five little curious girls going in for law;
One got in Chancery and then there were four.

Four little curious girls going out to sea to run away;
A red herring swallowed one and then there were three.

Three little snacks hunted away in the Sewers;
KYUUU and then there were two.

What skills and improvements that we can do.
In theory? Lots of stuff. Practically? Virtually nothing.

Flandre's had nearly five hundred years to work on her skills and abilities. In that time, she has met exactly one thing that survived (... for a given value of the word ...) a real attempt at ending its existence; most things she fights, she is quite capable of either tearing limb from limb, outlasting, or otherwise forcing to flee. Unless and until she meets something that can outmatch her or otherwise make her want to get better at something, 'self-improvement' isn't something that's going to interest her.

Not to mention, time is a factor - some things she may be able to pick up quickly, but a lot of them are going to be "When I get back home, maybe I can practice this some more!" (Or you hit a world where the time limit isn't quite so strict.) Magic, for example, is not going to be something Flan can pick up in a month or two unless it's ridiculously simple.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that that'd be a Hourai immortal.

Hourai Elixir is nothing to sneeze at.

As much as I would much rather err on the side of caution than directly confront some unknowns, Flandre seems more like the type to poke fun at these clueless girls. The possibility that they could harm her, and they might given that we don't know anything about them at all, probably wouldn't even cross Flan's mind...but in the event that they do, and they pose a challenge, more fun for her anyway!

*double-checks official art*
Huh. Why does my mental image have Laevateinn as longer than Flan is tall?
Oh well. We're definitely spreading a lot of panic.

I wonder when Mami's going to come try to steal Kyouko's Soul Gem back.

*shrugs* Well, i think it's more likely that we return it by ourselves. After all, Kyoko can be a fine butler/gatekeeper equivalent for us, isn't it?

As for Mami, even if she is still revivable in a near future i highly doubt that she will make an appearance. As Homu wouldn't want any more encouters that inconvenient to her plans being one of the main reasons for it.

Mami's Severed Head (still transformed) is chilling in Flan's Inventory at the moment, actually. Flan isn't sure whether she wants to use it as a hand-puppet or if she's going to polish it off and just keep the skull.

Anyway, votes are now locked.

"Hm, I think we should check around a little more, before we leave. This is a pretty big place, after all," Momo says, running a hand through her long hair. "I don't have very much range, either."

"Yeah, much as I hate the mandatory sewer levels, we might as well get it over with - if we do a good job now, we won't have to come back later!" Momo stares at her tall friend, and you're pretty sure the girl you're having a hard time finding is looking at her, too. "What?"

"Haa ... Satsuki, this is a subway, not a sewer level. Just because it's been abandoned for six years doesn't mean it's a sewer." You wonder why people would abandon such a wonderful place - maybe there's something strong down here! "Anyway, what do we do about the bat?"

"Why should we do anything?" The long-haired girl begins moving away, taking slow, measured steps. "It's a bat, leave it alone."

"Because it's alone? It's probably not part of a group, which means it's probably either sick or someone's pet and they wanted to get rid of it." You freeze. Patchouli wouldn't do that - Remilia wouldn't let her! They just found your note, and are letting you have your fun. And you're proving that you can take care of yourself! You feel better already! And the girls are moving away ... you wish you had a maid. They're supposed to keep trivial matters away from you, so you don't have to figure out whether following them is more important than doing something else.

You frown to yourself. What else could you be doing? You suppose you could be trying to find a Grief Seed, but -! You squeak again as a beam of light centers itself on you once again. Pesky humans! Then it moves away and you see the tall girl, Satsuki, move back down the tunnel. Hmm .... You grin to yourself. These girls knew who you were! They are obviously well-informed, and you lift yourself into the air to follow them. You flap your wings once or twice, but you've never actually tried to fly with just your wings before; magical flight is just so much more natural. You fly up as close to the ceiling as you can and silently stalk the girls.

Unfortunately, they're pretty close-mouthed after that. First they wake you up, then they make you bored, and now even though you're following them, you're still bored! It almost makes you want to kill something .... But haunting is so much more fun. You smirk, your bestial mouth splitting unnaturally, and make sure you're behind one of the many pillars in the big tunnel before you slowly, safely, make yourself invisible and then shift back to your normal form. You don't get why humans are so afraid of the dark - it's soft, comforting, nothing frightening in the dark - but you can certainly use such a silly fear. You wait until they're heading back toward the stairs outside the cave before you giggle loudly.

"Hehehe!"

Leaning out from the pillar, you see them all jerk in shock, beams of light playing shakily through the dark tunnel. You giggle again.

"Momo? Momo, where is it?" The tall girl seems incredibly scared, for some reason. You're not sure why - you're just letting them know you're here, right? They were looking for you, they wanted to play hide-and-seek, so why are they getting so scared now that you're here? You let the echoes die down, listening calmly as you slip closer to the group.

"I ... I don't know! I can't sense anything!" Oh, can she sense life? She must not be able to sense death, because she doesn't know where you are! You shake with joy. You're invisible - you can't be seen, can't be caught! You're unstoppable. You slowly, quietly fly toward the entrance, staying near the ceiling. Stupid humans, never looking up. When you're between them and the steps, you carefully take out Laevateinn ... and drag the tip against the wall, slowly. They jump again, and it's wonderful.

The tall girl, Satsuki, bursts into light, and now she's wearing a black outfit of some kind - and she's pointing a short staff in your direction. The other two girls wave their lights around you, and when one of them is steady, you scrape Laevateinn along the lit-up section of wall. The third girl shrieks and drops her light, but Satsuki swings her staff, sending bolts of white and blue lightning shooting out in an arc toward you - or rather, your former position. And, incidentally, sealing the way out. You giggle again.

The girls get in a circle facing outward, just like cattle, and you idly circle them, humming loudly enough to be heard. Of course, you're not stupid enough to give them a firm target - you throw your voice, sometimes to the left or right, sometimes across from your current position, sometimes behind you, and always at ground level. Then you pass near Momo, and she looks right at you - and you drop your invisibility just as she's reaching to touch her friend, and she stops, going pale and shaking uncontrollably. Satsuki seems to notice, though, because she turns toward you even before you land, and she jams her staff through your chest, angled down, shattering ribs and tearing through organs. Of course, what's more irritating is that she's ruining your shirt. You were going to let them go.

"Isn't it sad?" You look down at the staff in your chest, then up at the foolish girl. For the first time, it crosses your mind that every witch you've come across has been so young. Not that that stops you from grabbing her left hip with your left hand, the right part of her rib cage with your right hand, and ripping her in half, throwing the pieces against the walls. Something shatters musically, and the staff in your chest disappears, fading out of existence.

"Eri, run!" Momo rushes at you, and you're a little confused - she doesn't even seem to have changed at all! She's moving like a human ... and she breaks like one, too, when you backhand her and she's reduced to a bloody ruin. You frown. That makes no sense ... but when you look around for the third girl, Eri, you can't see her at all! Before, you could see a fuzzy outline, a person you couldn't describe ... now you simply can't see her. Can't ... see her.

"You can't see me, you can't see me, you can't see me, you can't see me ...." She's muttering that same phrase over and over and over ... and it's true. You can't see her. You grin. Given where the sound is coming from ....

"Hmm, I could have sworn there was a third girl!" You circle her position, talking out loud. She mutters the phrase more quickly and insistently, like she's trying to drown you out. "But I can't see her. I wonder where she is?"

"Youcantseemeyoucantseemeyoucantseemeyoucantseemeyoucantseeme...." You stop circling her, because you're standing right behind her, practically on top of her. You're pretty sure she's not looking at you, but you make a production of looking around anyway.

"I wish I could see her. That would make the next part much easier ... and more enjoyable, since I could see what she looks like!"

"YOUCANTSEEME!YOUCANTSEEME!YOUCANTSEEME!YOUCANTSEEME!" You wonder whether it's simple terror that's making her do this, or something else. You shrug - then drop down and grab the girl's arms. You pull them away from her ears and cross them in front of her, then lean in to whisper in her ear.

"That's true. I can't see you. But I can hear you. You're very noisy. Bad girl." You think about what to say next, but the body goes completely limp. You let it go as it fades into view, because it's dead. You shrug and walk away. You aren't sure which one will wake up first, or whether Satsuki will wake up at all ... but you should probably move soon. After that girl decides whether she'll become your maid. You wonder whether you'll get another gem to add to your collection instead.

What do you do?

[ ] Go out - you're famous, go see how much people know about you!

[ ] Go back to sleep - the fun's over.

[ ] Other - write-in?

No, when the body died (again) the Soul Gem severed the connection. If a Magical Girl knew about the Lichbomb, she could force the connection to stay active if the parts were still in range (hooray for arms crawling back to the body!), but that takes effort and forethought.

If buggy the clown was a magical girl...
That'd certainly be the product of an interesting wish, I'll say that much.

Also, little Miss Invisible is suspicious. If she's a magical girl, then her 'dying' there might not have been by OUR hand.

Her Soul Gem could have been kept away from her by a fourth person, to be returned later. I'm not so sure we should be sleeping JUST yet.

[X] search the bodies so you can find the "pretty" jems.

This seems like a very flandre answer right.
Also can Flandre actually sympathize with Yuma if she meet and actually get to know her.
