We should also probably leave a note for them send to Serana, telling her about the big black master dragon(if we don't know it was Alduin) that we killed and the giant explosion that occurred afterwards, maybe mentioning how we intend to get stronger and smarter before we come back because of the even bigger blazing gold dragon that appeared.(Last part is a maybe.)
Flandre was barely able to beat Alduin the way she fought, so she would intend to get stronger and learn more of fighting/ strategy, especially with big gold appearing.

(Likely changing this part to a similar vote if it appears.)
Any particular reason? (This applies @Stormgear too - horrible person that I am, my engaging in discussion doesn't necessarily mean the destination is correctly interpreted.)
We can still tell Serana about the Very Big Black Dragon which we found very difficult to kill, who caused a massive explosion when it died, which would likely help Serana herself realise it was Alduin.
We are trying to inform our Steward/etc that we killed something very hard to kill (and that we seem to have upset an even bigger glowing dragon, if that part of the note stays in) so we intend to come back once we get better at fighting/thinking/etc.
Also that we hope this message finds her in good health.

The mention of walkways going everywhere and dark mist immediately brought to mind the hexed areas of Chamba where you first meet Ershin. It's possibly one of the most iconic and memorable locations in the game, considering... everything that it's associated with.
I'm not sure what would happen if Flandre inhaled that shit though. Hex is basically pure, distilled malevolence, hatred, rage and sorrow in mist-form.

Add in an Asking them to send a note to Serana about the Big Black Dragon/etc section and I'll vote for that.
We should at least attempt to tell Serana what happened.
Plus if she knows we are alive and well, she'll stay loyal.

To add to this, I don't think Flandre really has any real motivation to head back to Skyrim with Akatosh there. The time spent trying to reclaim her vacation home in Skyrim would be better spent adventuring in new lands potentially finding a new one.
Flan still has the rods, so she can enter two more worlds after the next one.

Can we have more of an overview of what has/is going to happen in Skyrim?
What happened to Babette? What is Akatosh thinking/feeling? Is Alduin actually permanently dead or just 'in-between' dead? How is the Dragon-Born going to react to this?

Well, Nasuverse in general because dark heavily shadowed alleys feature significantly in Tsukihime(all routes), Kagetsu Tohya, Fate Stay Night(HF route), Melty Blood, Kara no Kyoukai...
Nasu likes his dark alleys for murdering

You shake your head, clearing your thoughts. You definitely want to keep going, maybe make some more friends and find some more neat stuff. Speaking of … you consider leaving some of your acquired goods here for safekeeping, but they might be useful, and they certainly should be safe with you. You look around, trying to see if there's anything you might want to bring with you, but you can't think of anything - you have your clothes and Laevateinn, and since Remilia enchanted your clothes, replacements aren't really necessary. But before you actually go, there's a small matter you need to take care of, and you take a sheet of paper and a pen from your desk.
"Patchouli. I apologize for the trouble I've put you through, and am very grateful to you for your assistance. I do seem to have made a terrible mistake at Fort Dawnguard, although I am not entirely sure how I could have prevented it. I hope I have not caused you too much trouble. If I could make a request of you, however, would you be willing to speak with my sister for me? I want to talk with her myself, but, given the circumstances, I believe she wouldn't let me continue. And Patchouli I want to keep going. Would you please tell Remilia that I love and miss her? Thank you again for helping me.
Fla
And if it wouldn't be too much more trouble, could you please send me some information about where these portals go? Going to completely new and interesting places is fun, but not having any direction is kind of frustrating too, and I think it would help keep me from needing your intervention in the future. Thank you.
Flandre Scarlet."
You look over the letter, wondering if you should make more changes, or write it anew, or if there's anything you forgot, but you can't think of anything that could be improved. You actually dig through your desk while waiting for the ink to dry, finally finding your old seal and a bit of wax. You've definitely used it before, you just can't remember if you've ever used it for something important … certainly nothing as important as this. After a moment's thought, you take the seal and wax with you; you're probably not going to need or even want it, but it could be useful. You take the letter with you as you slip quietly toward the portals. You make it there without incident, and like before the area is deserted. Carefully placing the letter where it will be easily found and not overlooked, you turn to the portals.
There are no surprises here, no portals you haven't seen before, and similarly nothing to indicate changes in to the ones you recognize. You look back and forth between the various portals, but … you're really just guessing at this point, since you don't know anything about the destinations. You take one of the newer ones, a dark and misty area with wooden walkways. There's no disorientation, and you're spared the tumbling grey void - the conveniences of a magician! - and now you're … here.
The first thing, before you can pay attention to your surroundings, is the atmosphere. You're surrounded by hatred, by anger and fear so thick even the least-sensitive human could feel it. It's both energizing and stunning - hatred and fear from your enemies, from what you kill, is normal, it's energizing and wonderful, and that's a lot of what you sense, but hatred and fear from people who are supposed to help you is sad, and you can't help but be reminded of how your sister is the only one who's ever stood by you unconditionally. You stumble, almost falling off the rickety platform, and manage to tune out the miasma … in this situation, it's not a problem, although a more concentrated form might be cause for concern. You probably wouldn't die or be hurt, of course, but …. Before you can continue, there's a small racket in your mind, and Headless floods your awareness as Giltless flees.
"… Huh. I go to sleep and miss out the fun stuff. And you didn't wake me up! Figures." You smile as your friend complains meaninglessly, and you get the image of her sticking her tongue out at you. "Much as I hate to say it, but this is rather impressive. Whoever made it happen is pretty capable … and it's a really good thing you don't have that child or the witch-girls with you. This place would probably tear them apart." Curious, you take out one of the Soul Gems, and the change is immediate and noticeable, the moderately-clean orange gem quickly gaining an oily black sheen and rapidly darkening until you put it away. You're reasonably sure that the suddenness of the change is due more to the girls' weakness to emotional attacks and not to the strength of the miasma … but Headless is still kind of right, and you're glad Lutecia isn't here. Long-term exposure would affect her. And a more concentrated dose … you look below you. You're actually on an upper level, and the mist is even thicker lower down. You wonder what kind of creatures live here - maybe youkai, or weird humans - until you realize that the walkways, at least on this level, are recent additions, much less than a year old, and probably added after whatever caused the miasma. Shrugging, you pick a random direction and drift through the ruined town. At least, you think it's a town - many of the buildings look like houses, after all. You see the occasional creature, something like a mangled and deformed human skittering away, or hanging over a railing, or leaning out of a window, and other less physical entities as well, seemingly-aware concentrations of the miasma that travel through the upper area. They ignore you, and you ignore them. Soon enough, you come to a wooden wall, thick but unguarded, with a single gate … and more importantly, outside the mist. You sigh with relief - maybe you can get some answers!
You float up to the wall in the gloom - you're pretty sure it's pre-dawn, given the colors and feel of the outer area - and settle atop the gate. The town inside the wall is well-constructed, and several buildings have some kind of machines in them, pumps, perhaps. And it's inhabited! A large number of people are gathered in front of the gate, apparently waiting to enter the misty area, and all are wearing some kind of armor. Many are small, some even shorter than you, and others are taller, although none of them exceeds a human's height. The armors vary from combinations of cloth and metal to mostly leathern materials to a few that are entirely metal. And they're all looking up at you, most with weapons held at the ready, and a few of them are babbling uncontrollably. One of them, taller than most, calls out something, several phrases, in fact, apparently directed at you.
… You can't understand him, of course. You really begin to wish that Patchouli and Remilia had picked places with intelligible languages instead of places where magical communication was a requirement. It's very annoying.

"… You'd know more about this sort of thing if you got out more, you know," Aya finished, nodding sagely. "It's not like you're required to stay locked up, and you could interfere more and no one would care." Remilia shook her head as her guest sipped her tea.
"Getting out would make me interested; it's for the best that I keep myself removed from affairs that don't concern me directly. And you're a better resource than the fairies. They have a lot of information, and it can be fun piecing together what they know to look at the bigger picture, but they're fairies, and they're interested in fairy things." She tapped her fingers on the table at her side before looking back at the tengu. "But you're here for something else, aren't you? You didn't just want to tell me about these goings-on with the religious types." Aya nodded unhappily.
"You've been acting … oddly. People have been worried." Quietly serious, she took out a small bottle and held it out to the vampire. Remilia took it and poured some of the liquid inside into her cup, then drank some of that, frowning at the taste.
"It's a personal matter, something private to the mansion. I have no intention of causing any harm or disruption to Gensokyo, and if actions taken by myself or those affiliated with me threaten this place, I will deal with them to the best of my ability. Should my actions not be enough, I will ensure that the necessary individuals are informed." She tilted her head, asking the reporter if more was required, but after a few moments' study of the cup, Aya leaned back, a relieved smile on her face.
"Ah, that's good. Some people thought you were planning your own Incident, and a few were worried you were going to go back to your normal self. I'm very glad to hear that that isn't the case." Her notebook and pen materialized in her hands, and her eyes took on a predatory gleam. "And with that done with, why don't you tell me about what you have been doing? You disappeared for a while, stopped throwing parties, had a strange human in the mansion … come on, you have to tell me something!" Remilia smiled as she shook her head, then clutched her chest as a coughing fit overtook her. Aya froze, watching worriedly.
"Ahh … I'm sorry, Aya. Another time, perhaps?" After a quick, almost imperceptible glance at the cup of liquid, Aya smiled regretfully and nodded before gathering her things.
"Alright. But just this once! You're going to have to fill me in sometime, or I'll really find the Mokele-mbembe and introduce you two!" Remilia chuckled again, wincing again, and Aya stood up to leave.
"Ah, one last thing. Your subordinate - Inubashiri, I believe? Would you extend to her an invitation to spar with my gardener, Hong Meiling?" The reporter flashed her a dazzling smile.
"Of course! Then, I'll be off." With a polite bow, she let herself out of the interior room, and Remilia watched as one of the fairy maids led her back to the entrance. She leaned back in her chair, sinking into the thick cushions as the light sources faded. After a few minutes, Patchouli let herself in, and a soft red light spread. The vampire looked up at her friend.
"Has she left?" The magician nodded.
"While you were in the meeting." Remilia sighed, seeming to collapse in on herself, and changed. Her left arm went from whole to a shattered ruin, the only part below her elbow that existed being her bones, and even those were continually sloughing off their outer layers. Her sightless eyes, normally only red-irised, were simple bloody orbs, the occasional scarlet tear sliding unnoticed down her face. Patchouli shuddered at her friend's transformation. "… Remilia, you're going to kill yourself." The mangled vampire barked a laugh.
"It wouldn't be the first time, Pache. Besides, I can heal myself, and much more easily than we can heal Flan. This is only a temporary malediction." She sucked in a raspy breath, and Patchouli's hands clenched.
"Why? If you keep doing this to yourself, if you keep hiding things from her, she won't learn! She'll just keep doing what she wants, no matter what you want! If you'd just let her suffer -" She jerked back, startled, as a reflexive spasm of Remilia's wings shattered the back of her chair.
"Flandre is my sister, Patchouli. I want her to be happy, to have fun; if she wants to leave, that … I … I can deal with it. Until then, however, I want her to be safe, protected. If that means … this …. I can accept it." Patchouli stared at her friend as her fingernails dug into the palms of her hands and tears threatened her vision.
"Remi …."
"Thank you, Pache." The magician slammed her foot into the floor at her friend's remark.
"I wanted to leave her there, Remilia! I didn't want to do a damned thing to help her! And I shouldn't have helped her, should've left her to her own devices when that damned god threw her out of his world, just left her to recover on her own and maybe learn something for once! But you … you …." Her mouth worked soundlessly for a moment before she was reduced by her own wracking, asthmatic coughing fit. Something warm and soft held her, pressed against her, and she opened her eyes to find herself embraced by her friend. Dark wings wrapped behind her, and a thin right hand reached up to cup the back of her head and pull her closer to the vampire's support. Another fit overtook her, and Remilia stood there, holding the magician until she could stand on her own.
"… Thank you, Pache." The magician let loose a strangled howl of rage and made an abrupt gesture before disappearing in a burst of light. Though unable to see them, Remilia was sure there had been tears in her friend's eyes. "I don't deserve to be cared about by you, but … thank you."

Also it looks like Remi... Absorbed Flan's injuries. That's... No good. We should try to be more careful.
I have Zero idea where we are or who those people are... Looks like I'll be voting a lot less for a while...
Hmmm. And could someone explain to me why the two are acting like Falnd did something wrong? I honestly can't see where she did come thing to be "punished" for or somehting she has to learn from. From what I can see from Flans perspective the injuries to Remilia or consequences from the Dawnguard and AlduinAlduin were all entirely accidents. Not something Flan had any reason to suspect in the slightest or had any intention of causing at all. Punishing her for somehting completely outside of her knowledge when she made her best choices with the information she was given seems a bit odd to me. Although I can see why Patchouli would be unhappy with Flandre since she obviously cares more for Remilia than her and she got hurt because of her actions even though Flan had no reason to believe that her actions would cause anything at all like what they did. And no real way to find out before what happened happened either. She did attempt diplomacy first with Alduin after all...
