Firebird, a Worm AU/Xover?

Also, there's something off about her left hand side in the positioning of her chest or ribs or whatever the correct word is. I'm neither an artist of doctor.

There are actually a lot of little touch ups I'd do, including fixing some of the stuff I did to remove the other incarnations that were jumping into the image. Even in the original image the shirt didn't quite fit in with the rest of the style, so I'd probably completely re-do the torso even if it didn't need to be done for figure reasons.

I just wanted to throw the image up as a thanks to Chibipoe for writing the story, so I haven't put as much time into it as is needed for a finished product. This is a crossover I've always wanted to see, and that it's from the author of Acceleration... well I'm just tickled pink. =)

So in the end we will get nice round Zero... And this is Worm. Forgive me, but this is not exactly inspiring :D

Are you implying that Taylor has a zero percent chance, or otherwise implying that, yes, Death can take her?

So maybe something like....

Though I went with the brown color instead of black.

Edit: And I'm afraid I'd need a bit more time than I wanted to initially invest to remove the obvious figure differences between Taylor and Jean >_>

I like.

Totally upvote

And it's ok. The differences between their figures can be forgiven.

I kind of get the feeling that the first time she dies might be the first time people realize just what they're dealing with. Which might be a little cliched, but would still be pretty sweet.

I think you are referring to the waist and thighs and I can see it. The way the hips are quirked to the side gives a slight difference in the perception from left to right. Looking at it against the background it looks odd. But the thing is, there is no actual difference. If you drew a line from the left thumb to the right, it would be a near-perfect straight line. The actual positioning is mirrored in the drawing. It's just the way she's posing combined with the colors of the background that gives it an odd look.

Yeah, that's closer in my head to what I'm seeing eventually. The jacket could be somewhat armored in the lining and so forth. And yeah, there are some definite figure differences there, with Taylor being Taylor and Jean being Jean.

No. Upper chest, her left side, between arm and the side of her chest. It seems to curve too far out, then come back, if that makes sense. If I wanted to pick apart her thighs/waist it'd be that there's a little too much meat there to fit Taylor's beanpole image, but then that might just be my own opinion of how I see her from descriptions. She looks a little too mature in the picture, whilst where we currently are she's still a scrawny, tall teenager.

so I haven't put as much time into it as is needed for a finished product.
Pfft, it's plenty good. Could be better, bu almost everything can, so I wouldn't stress that much.

At least it isn't something like this:

Those fingers, my goddess. x.x

Hmm. I do see.

I think the picture is drawn with the pose shot off-center. It looks like we are seeing it from an angle which is giving that odd off-curve.

At first I had no idea what you were talking about, because I thought you were referring to the same area of the body I was.

Those fingers, my goddess. x.x
Then I had to gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork.

Also, seriously, is there a specific name for the upper chest, between your torso and your arms? It's annoying the hell out of me not having an easier way to describe it. I'm half way sure I should know the name for it, but I've forgotten it.

Glory Girl: "What's wrong with it?"

Panacea: "People who fly shouldn't wear a mini-skirt."

Glory Girl: "Fan polls indicate otherwise."

Panacea: "Fan photo galleries indicate why."

Glory Girl: "Why were you looking at my fan galleries?"

Panacea: "J-j-just looking out for you, sis."

Well, though it isn't as commonly used now, Décolletage for the upper chest/neck area if you're female.

I could totally accept her really looking like that, but not seeing it due to Issues.

EDIT: Well, maybe not exactly, but similar.

If you look at her right breast, you can see that it's far to the right as well, so I would say that her waist is twisting, but due to the visual nature of her shirt, it gives a more full frontal look when it isn't.

I think no amount of self-image issues would keep Taylor from realizing her shirts suddenly got a lot tighter.

Forget the shirt, her bra would be the first thing she noticed because it would be far more painful.

Her hips/waist/shoulders/neck/head/arms are all... straight? Head on? Whatever the right word is. All facing forward. It looks like she's twisted her rib cage area to the right, swinging a bit of her back further to the left (the bit I circled, because for whatever reason, that's the bit that most caught my eye).

Please excuse my butchering of words, as I know I'm bad at describing things.

I don't think Taylor would wear bras. She doesn't really need to. Maybe a sports bra, but if she wasn't expecting to lose her top I don't think she'd bother.

Actually there is a lot of reasons for her to wear a bra, to accentuate what little she does have being just one of them. Further, I can't imagine that she in particular wouldn't wear one, considering all of the possible pranks that would take advantage of her not. I'm not sure if she had a PE class or not, but in a situation that had her changing out, she would likely feel especially vulnerable without it.

That's why I said that if she thought she'd lose her top she'd wear one. I mean yes there are reasons to wear a bra even at lower cup sizes. I just don't think that Taylor personally would care to.

Wormfic threads derail into the weirdest tangents sometimes. o_O

Off to dinner(alone, boo) with a notepad. Will work on 1.5 while waiting for food. Coming Soon: Taylor's week without Emma + Some more.

You know, I think Taylor can counter the whole thing with the costume not accenting her figure by just doing up the leather jacket. Then she can have the Phoenix emblem on the back.

You still get the effect of the costume, without the whole thing about showing off how built (or not built) her body is.

Anterior Axillary Fold, if you're refering to what I think you are.

EDIT: The bit you circled in the pic (which finally loaded) is the serratus anterior, or the lateral thoracic area
