The actual bad parent here is Morgan, so I give Artoria some slack. Even Mordred admits that, had Artoria treated her differently, it probably wouldn't have changed a thing.

Ain't it sad Mocchan.

I kind of feel the Light Novel of Fate Apocrypha has been replaced, over time, because the Mordred of the book and the anime and FGO feel like seperate people at times. Even when Character Development is taken into account.

The thing to remember about Mordred in GO is the one you meet in London, and can latter summon is someone who lived through Apocrypha, and all of the character development that came from that.

To be honest when I think of Camelot I just look forward to the sixth singularity and all that entails. Because while I am a Fate/Nasuverse fan and I do ship Shirou/Saber as my ship at the end of the day i'm merely here for the memes.

He's either from the DEEN movie or, more likely, the actual UBW Route in F/SN. The twins and Saber follow the ufotable series, Rider is from Hollow Ataraxia, and Gilgamesh is having fun because he sees every route. He likes Carnival Phantasm second most. Dinner with Emiya was unexpectedly wholesome and had many cute Sabers so it's become his new favourite.
Gilgamesh being aware of every single Fate product, including the different Animu\Mango adaptations and comedy side-series\omakes explains rather a lot when you think about it.

e: Oh jeez, he can totally see Learning with Manga! can't he...

You mean like when Ritsuka and Kana got into a brawl that took them through all of Chaldea and the one who defused it wasn't even her?
She even goaded them with the "use your legs" bit as well.

Also you already mentioned how Artoria would react to Add but how about post-UBW ghost Kay from the CD Drama that Shirou met?

Oh details? This is the first I've heard of such a thing.
While in London post the UBW anime, Rin gets a leaner's permit, bought a crappy car (because the CT doesn't want to pay for her travel expanses for magical research), and ropes Shirou and Waver into taking a car trip with her.

They go to Glastonbury and while at the fake grave of King Arthur, Shirou meets someone:
Curtain Call Drama CD summary (not mine) said:
-Shirou noted he knew the one here is not the real grave of Artoria, but somehow the vast grassland reminded him of her. Then someone walked up to him, wearing some sort of armor and with some ancient accent. (Cause SURE~ Shirou knows ancient English lol)

-The mysterious figure turned out to be Sir Kay, who addressed Shirou rather rudely and called him a brat. He said he decided to check on Shirou since he had visited this place way too often and must be a thief. Though it is hinted he knew who Shirou really is, by stating if Shirou looked too depressed here, Artoria might really wake up from her slumber out of worry.

-Shirou asked if Kay knew about the King Arthur legend, to which Kay pretty much said "Fuck Dat Shit", then telling Shirou he should just see Artoria as he remembered her since that's all that matters. He also reminded Shirou to let go and move on, since that would be what Artoria wanted.

-Shirou then asked, most likely realizing he was talking to someone from Artoria's time, what's his impression of Artoria. Kay said Artoria is a bright star that guide the people. While many admire her blindly (hinting the Blackmores from Case Files?), people like Shirou and himself would know better: Artoria is too bright a star to keep close by one's side.

-Shirou agreed but said since he had witnessed that starlight, even if it is far away he will keep following that light. Kay mocked Shirou for his stubbornness but also said he is on the right track. He then disappeared, followed by Rin who asked who was Shirou talking to. Shirou joked it could be a ghost, or maybe there were a dozen here. (cough) Round Table (cough)
It's not really explained why that happens but there you go.

Rin: "Shirou, who were you talking to?"

Shirou: "Who knows? Could be a ghost."

Arturia: "...Kay! Get your ass out! I know you're here!"

Shirou: "Wait hold on."

Arturia: "I WON'T ASK A SECOND TIME KAY!"

Kay: "Shit shit shit"

I sort of wonder if they gave Kay the bullshit powers he had in the original mythos. Like... how he could become as tall as the tallest tree in the forest.

Or how he could hold his breath for nine days and nights underwater.

Because Artemis Kana, because Artemis.

Who else would fire 'a lovely arrow that transmits the power of love' which 'blows the target away and sends them into a panic!'

Because that's how love works, right?

I mean.

That's Orion's NP.

("You would never have been satisfied" makes me think of Hamilton and now the idea of a Camelot musical sounds hilarious)

Hey, at least she's capable of that much self reflection, unlike "a Grail War is the perfect place for my masochism" Lancelot, "the middle of the literal most important battle of my kingdom is a great time to deny my side reinforcements due to a personal grudge" Gawain, and "I'm going to insult my king's way of handling shit and then immediately go die before rectifying that by way of really poorly handling my love life!" Tristain.

"Kay, in my time in this world I have learned many things that I could not have known in my time, but most relevant right now is this - when were you planning on telling me that you were really an Ultraman all along?"

I mean.

That's Orion's NP.
Orion's NP is 'Artemis Hagnós: Moon Goddess' Innocent Affections' and involves Artemis pouring all of her love into Orion to strengthen him, temporarily transforming him into a one man army. Her love is so powerful that if used on anyone else they would overload and literally explode from the sheer power, but Orion is such a huge muscleman that he only feels a mild burning pain.

Which, I'll grant you, is certainly similar to firing an arrow filled with love that blows the target up, but not exactly the same thing; Orion's NP doesn't involve any arrows.

Technically it's Artemis' NP; after all, she's the one in the driver's seat for the "Orion" that uses Tri-Star Amore Mio (or however it's spelled; can't be bothered to look it up).

You know, except for that one, tiny, small, totally insignificant detail that, uh...

"Tri-Star Amore Mio" is just Ortygia Amore Mio when used by Artemis alongside Orion. The only difference is that her being there allows him to use the NP more freely, as it requires outside help to use on his own. Actual NP? Yeah, that's just the arrow he shot Artemis down with in LB5, which should come as no surprise as they're described the same way essentially.

"Sis, I love you. But do you realize how much you eat?! Especially before there was industrialized agriculture?! We were in debt and the only way out was to have Alaya pay it like with TOHSAKA! At least we don't continue to spend money like water or get our child selves caught up in it..."

Gonna be honest, with the sheer amount of self-loathing she hide under the Tsun exterior, I somehow doubt Moedred's evaluation of herself is unbiased.

Of course he would. That golden troll.

"I needed to pay the bills and haunting people doesn't pay as much as it used to when people still generally believed in ghosts."

Uh, wrong way around, Ortygia Amore Mio is Orion's recreation of Tri-Star Amore Mio, but with the roles reversed. Ortygia Amore Mio is explicitly described as 'A Noble Phantasm that shouldn't exist' and it requires the bow of Hephaestus and Paris's arrow, items that Orion doesn't normally have. Its use also requires Orion sacrifice his Grand Archer title and his body.

Orion's original legend didn't involve shooting Artemis; it involved getting shot by Artemis (or getting stung by the scorpion that became Scorpio, but Fate goes with the 'shot by Artemis' version), so he doesn't normally have a Noble Phantasm involving shooting. Orion's true NP is 'Artemis Hagnós: Moon Goddess' Innocent Affections', he is also mentioned to have 'Orion Hórkos: The Beast Out of Reach of my Arrow', though I can't find any information on what that one does.

Kay being repeatedly called a very good swimmer is probably an allusion to the latter, but no mystical powers so far no.

I think her evaluation of not really knowing what affection is is accurate enough, seeing who raised her.

For reference wrt to this, in I think an interlude, Jekyll is being concerned and caring over Mordred and I believe Guda makes a joke about Jekyll acting like a mother.

Mordred's response is confusion, because "mother's don't act like that".

"Next time," Arturia huffs, "You are bringing someone with an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm. And it will be me."
Oh, welcome to London!
Well, the Aunt Sakura (ft. Parvati) isn't there (yet??), so there's not exactly going to be, well. (You know what you did, Barbatos.)
On the other... Well.
And the King of Storms, too...

Artoria burst into one of the spare Master's Quarters. Ritsuka scrambled to get hold of his shirt, trying and failing to cover his shirtless body with his other hand.

"Well," Artoria began, shaking her head, "If you wanted to have some private time with Mash, you should have stayed in your own room. From the noises in here, I thought Blackbeard had relapsed again."

Ritsuka just smiled awkwardly in respone, sweat dripping down his forehead, "It's n-not-"

A knocking sound interrupted them, causing them both to turn around to see Mordred standing in the connected bathroom's doorway, wearing a fluffy red bathrobe and waving a small white tube."Yo, Master, is this thing supposed to turn pink?"

Ritsuka paled, while Artoria just gaped wordlessly like a fish, "How is it already positive? You only just got laid!"

"Homunculus, duh. We do everything faster." Mordred shrugged. "Now does anyone want to tell me what this thing means? Father, you have any ideas?"

Artoria snapped her mouth closed and whirled around to glare at Ritsuka again. "You got your older sister Pregnant?!"

"I'M WHAT?!!"

"She's not my older sister." Ritsuka protested, "She's more of a... cousin, I think."

Artoria shook her head, "That's still far too close. Why didn't I see this coming?" She froze, "Actually thinking about it, it all makes sense. Mordred undoubtedly learned these bad habits from my own elder sister and both of your parents found me extremely attractive."

"I don't want to hear this." Ritsuka muttered to himself.

Artoria ignored him, "No, I shouldn't be surprised. What am I going to tell Mash?" She whirled around to glare at the shellshocked Mordred. "I hope you're happy, young Lady. Now I have to inform everyone I'm going to be a Grandmother! I can feel the wrinkles coming on already."

"I'm not a woman." Mordred crossed her arms in a huff. "And anyway, you don't age."

"Don't think that will stop them." Artoria said before grabbing hold of Mordred's shoulder and started to frogmarch her out of the room. "And last I checked Men can't get pregnant unless Merlin is involved. Now come on, we've got a midnight appointment with Dr Roman to get to."

"I'm not sick though. Father!" Mordred protested as her voice grew fainter and fainter.

"Thank you, Master, for doing this." Jekyll said as he crawled out from under the bed.

"Thank Gilgamesh." Ritsuka grumbled, "He just barged into my room and dropped me into a portal and the next thing I know, I'm lying on top of Heroic Spirits in the middle of an orgy!"

He got up, pulling on his shirt as he did so, "Now I have to go explain this to Mash before Artoria tells her. Else D'Eon's going to end up 'consoling her', He airquoted sarcastically. "It's what the French do according to Auntie Artoria."

Jekyll opened his mouth to disagree, and then remembered he was English and closed it again.

"Try to find a room less likely to be searched next time." Ritsuka bid farewell, before leaving.

Jekyll lay in bed for a few minutes, his brow furrowed in thought, before he turned to the bed's other occupant, "... Fran, are you the Father or am I?"

"Uuuuuu." Fran nodded knowingly from her side of the bed.

"I really wish I could understand you."
