Arturia: "Box who speaks in my brother's voice why are you such an asshole"Does Artoria know about the Add/Kay thing, and if so what's her reaction to it?
So Morgana Le Fay modeled the seal's AI for Rhongomyniad after Kay. And, depending on how accurate the wiki article on the man is, did it by stuffing some part of the man's spirit in there. Didn't know that.Arturia: "Box who speaks in my brother's voice why are you such an asshole"
Add: "Maybe you should have bullied me when we were younger Uhihihihihihi!"
Arturia (in full armour): "...Gray, do you mind if I discipline my brother for a moment?"
Gray: "g-go ahead?"
Add: "no"
To be fair, did she need any other reason? So Morgana Le Fay modeled the seal's AI for Rhongomyniad after Kay. And, depending on how accurate the wiki article on the man is, did it by stuffing some part of the man's spirit in there. Didn't know that.
Is there a genuine reason for that, or was it just to torment the man who'd been closer to Artoria than her?
IIRC apparently she considered him the most sensible man RE Artoria in the Round Table. Is there a genuine reason for that, or was it just to torment the man who'd been closer to Artoria than her?
Considering he grew up with her, it makes sense that his idea of Artoria was more "realist" compared to every other Knight who pretty much set their own idealised standard of her.IIRC apparently she considered him the most sensible man RE Artoria in the Round Table.
But she does turn into the original VN form for her NP in fgo. So its still kinda the same.Which is actually kind of funny, because while Servant 'Gorgon' looks like this:
This is what she looked like when she was alive and fought Perseus:
These things are not the same, not at all.
But she does turn into the original VN form for her NP in fgo. So its still kinda the same.
It at least, once again, isn't actually entirely unprecedented; the White Titan has the exact same thing with Altera, except the girl form out-survived the monster form there. But then again, Tiamat has a monstergirl form, which even the game admits in its profile for Beast II doesn't really make much sense,
That's actually mythologically accurate like Jaguar Man's tiger onesie is:(The bird wings really get to me; why does she have bird wings? She's a snake.)
(RE FGO Gorgon: The process, as we'd known before FGO, was gradual rather than poof monster. Medusa got worse and worse until eventually she ate her sisters.)Prometheus Bound said:Near them their sisters three, the Gorgons, winged
With snakes for hair— hatred of mortal man—
Eh, I always interpreted that line from Prometheus Bound as 'draconic' scaled wings, not fluffyThat's actually mythologically accurate like Jaguar Man's tiger onesie is:

Eh, I always interpreted that line from Prometheus Bound as 'draconic' scaled wings, not fluffy white bird wings, but then again Greek mythology was big on chimeras with inexplicable mashed together features that made no goddamn sense.
On the other hand, to be fair, that doesn't exactly look like a lot of things, because wow even by the standards of Greek art that is kind of terrible. Also apparently has two sets of wings, because sure why not, and thighs that could crush a goddamn mountain, and what the hell is going on with those boots?
Doesn't exactly look like draconic wings to me, and checking pots of other winged stuff like birds and Sirens, they're definitely using the same style they use for feathered birds.
(Or TLDR: Fate actually does do their research.)
Side-effect of the medium; pot art doesn't exactly give much of a coloir palette.Plus, those are definitely black wings, not white, but *shrug*,
Er, oops, I was getting her golden wings mixed up with her white robes. Yeah okay, that one is 100% on me.Side-effect of the medium; pot art doesn't exactly give much of a coloir palette.
(...Also, FGO Gorgons' wings are bronze. I'm not sure how you got white from that.)
Remember, Tiamat actually had wings at that point, so those are actual wings and not horns. Besides, the horns are clearly visible near the mouth.
(Incidentally, I think those are much better inexplicable wings than Gorgon's fluffy bird wings, even though I think they're actually her horns pretending to be wings.)
Did she? I can't find any other pictures of her Draconic Corpus body than that one and it's been ages since I played that part of the game, so I don't remember. Her Titan form definitely has horns pretending to be wings though, so I figured that they were just the next extension of that. Not that it really matters.Remember, Tiamat actually had wings at that point, so those are actual wings and not horns. Besides, the horns are clearly visible near the mouth.
Honestly, finding pre-Renaissance art in general that isn't horribly drawn is mostly an exercise in futility, dunno why seeing as there's plenty of perfectly good statues and the like, but ancient humans were apparently just completely useless at drawing things for some reason. On a side not, re: the pot art being horribly-drawn: Have you ever tried drawing on a curved surface? It's not easy in the slightest.
King Hassan explicitly mentions cutting her wings off to keep her from just flying out of Kur (and takes the opportunity to impose the concept of death on her while he's at it), she used them to fly earlier (before Gorgon!Ana snatched her out of the air)... I'm pretty sure she had fully-functional wings.Did she? That makes far too much sense, considering what we know of how the Nasuverse 'God' works.Hmm, I was thinking about what Servant classes Cain would fit into last night and the only one that I could come up with that made sense to me was Berserker, since he basically got mad and killed his brother for stealing his (probably Saberfaced) imouto, but now that you mention it I suppose Assassin could fit as well.
IIRC another possible choice of weapon was a bone from the goat that Abel sacrificed, either used as a club or sharpened into a stabbing implement.
Actually, maybe it was only Cain's imouto who had the Saberface, and that was why he was so attached to her and why God wanted Abel to have her instead. God says 'calm down Cain, you can have Abel's imouto' and Cain responds 'but my imouto is the best imouto' and God goes 'yes I know, that's why I'm giving her to Abel, honestly it's like you don't even listen to me.' Cue invention of murder.
Hello! Congratulations from escaping lurkerdom, and enjoy your stay.Just gonna drop in and say I've been lurking here and reading since 2018 and now only decided to make an account.
I'm hearing this in Maaya Sakamoto's voice, and I'm damn near dying of laughter, as she'd be saying it with pride in her voice."...Oh dear," Leonardo comments over the commlink while sounding not the least bit concerned, "It seems that whatever you did to Blackbeard has propagated back to the Throne of Heroes and altered his Spirit Origin permanently! You have done what even All the World's Evils could not, Kana; you corrupted a Heroic Spirit!"
This gets even more funny once they run into Kiara...Keep saying things like that and you're gonna get a THOT-kicked through a wall like Blackbeard.
