[] Investigate why your thoughts are leaking over into Shirou's and what this means 14 votes

It seems that the ways souls work here is rather different, albeit despite your preferences you are still a daemon prince of the changer of ways and lack a soul, not to mention a physical form in exchange for the lives of your sons and immortality. the last part was the price you could have done without. At the moment it seems that nothing wrong is coming from it but you know all too well that something will go wrong at some point.

From what you have observed you theorise that if this continues Shirou may end up thinking your own thoughts, while that is not necessarily a bad thing given who you are it is not a good thing either as he will lose his already limited individuality, given the nature of his makeshift soul, something you area a little envious of him for possessing while you don't, that may be a key factor of why your thoughts are leeking over to his.

At the moment only your thoughts are and only in very diluted ways, none of your emotions are leaking over which you note is a good thing. Still something must be done about this, while Shirou could prove to be the perfect vessel you did not save him and reshape him for that, while you could alter your designs to include that into it, you would prefer that he keeps what little of his humanity he has left.

The problem is you don't have a permanant solution to this, perhaps you should do nothing and continue your research before you go damaging anything that will not be easily replaced.

[] Make a temporary barrier that protects Shrou's individuality, while it is not permanent it will give you some time to sort other things out before you go back to it.

[]Leave it be and continue investigating it, It is best that you avoid causing any damage as you would rather not have the boy's sanity suffer because of this. If you were to interfere it might cause some irreparable damage and you would have to reconstruct the boy's mind and memories from scratch, not that such an action is beyond you

[] Leave it be, You have no intention of damaging Shirou's psyche, but if it gets too influenced by your thoughts you can always reconstruct it

[]Attempt to contact the Godslayer, you have been choosing not to, but perhaps you should also focus on something else not immediately related to Shirou, after all what is the point of having two minds in the same body if they are both thinking the same thing 12 votes

You were able to locate this realm, but as of yet you have not made contact with it's inhabitant or inhabitants. Still in the experimental stage you are quite sure that your less than perfect attempts may have if not definitive attracted the attention of the resident. Still it is something you should consider continuing now that you have established where this place is you will be able to form a contact with it or even manifest yourself there even only as an astral projection.

[] Continue your attempt, you are so close you can feel it

[] Give up for now, perhaps it is best to come back at a later date, you know how to get there now and it is not going anywhere.

[] Get Shirou invested in this, i his dreams at lest he can give you what little aid he can provide, it will also be an excellent learning experience for him

Let investigate first before do anything that change Shirou mindscape.

Shirou need to excercise his mind anyway, success or fail we can do this together.

Best to wait for now. I think we don't want to put Shirou under more ego death risk until we get the bleedthrough covered. We know where to look now, but until we can project some kind of body, any kind of interaction would not be healthy for him.

Maybe at some point the future shirou will be interested to regain his lost memories,I hope it so, always annoyed me in that in canon or fanfics he never bothered to search for who he was before the fire,of course his distortion may have played a hand, maybe with a restored memory he might be able to reduce his distortion

There is also the running risk that Shirou may consider his past trivial, and it would take someone close to him to convince him to actually care about it.

Magnus interlude 02

<Shirou> Magnus voices echoes in your mind <We need to talk later once you are resting your body.>

With Rin in front of you, it would look rather suspicious if you were to answer him verbally or even physically with a nod, so you settle for a mental reply. <Understood> you reply mentally not needed to say anything else, who knows what the Primarch was up to during his brief silence, though you assume that you might find out soon.

"Emiya san?" Rin speaks "Are you really planning on stealing?" she asks you.

Inwardly you roll your eyes, those who are Magi from what you have learned from Magnus and Kiritsugu should not be appalled by simple theft, they kill for such things and do so without a moments hesitation or remorse, for them the ends justify the means. You decide to let RIn know this. "Tohsaka" your voice is polite and curt, almost conversational, but only almost "magi have done far worse for far less, why do you sound concerned?"

This catches the young aspiring magus off her guard as of she denies it then she is lying while if she admits it, then she is bound to not judge your choice of methods of acquisition. In the end the girl settles for looking away not meeting your eyes embarrassed and ashamed that she cannot answer your inquiry.

You nod at her and once again go over the notes for the Azoth sword, Magnus seems to be back reviewing at as well, which you admit makes your task all the more easier. "Emiya san" Rins voice calls out to you, this time it is quiet and not loud just soft as if she is weighing her options. You have yet to learn how to bruxh someones mind without them sensing something so you refrain from such actions. Magnus could do it, but if he hasn't informed you then you are not in any real danger.

"Yes Tohsaka?" you reply lifting your eyes off the notes to regard her "is there something wrong?" you ask immigrating the tone of concern.

"No, just that it's late and if I come back at this hour Kirei will ask me where I was" Rin repliied.

"You are aware that even if you return only by tomorrow during the day, chances are that he will be waiting for you and question you then" you inform her.

"Yes I know that" Rin sighed in defeat, you weren't trying to coerce her into returning back to her mansion, you were simply stating facts.

<Mortals have always had and interesting take on the words spoken to them> Magnus notes.

You can't argue there. "If you want you can use the guestroom and stay the night, though be aware that there is a 34% chance that Kotomine Kirei will be searching for you during the night."

You sense that Magnus is now doing something but you are aware that only you can sense it, something like reality shifting, even by the tiniest bit.

<He won't be able to find her now> the Crimson King informs you <I made some adjustments to the bounded field and set them to react in a certain way to the one named Kirei Kotomine in particular>

That does sound nice as you notice that changes that Magnus made and can appreciate them "He cannot find you within this estate" you inform Rin.

Rin seems unsure but finally caves in, you are unsure why she needed to be convinced it's not like she wanted to leave for the mansion in the first place

Finally after getting Rin into the guest room the one with the bed and not the futon you are now ling down on you futon, closing your eyes you enter you mindscape and find Magnus waiting for you there.

<Shirou> he greets you with a nod

<Magnus sensei> you reply respectfully <is there something you wish to teach me?>

<No> the Crimson King replies <there is something however that you could aid me in> he informs you.

<Aid you, I don't understand> you reply.

<You are aware that in this world the age that magi refer to as the age of god's has ended?> Magnus continues as he already knows the answer <It seem however that not all from it has been lost.>

<You discovered something?> you ask him

<Someone> the Crimson King corrects you <A relic of the ancient world, doomed to exist in her own dimension never able to die. Yes I found her the Godslayer Scathach.>

If you had not spent an entire month in a state library you would not have recognised that name, fortunately you did so you had some limited knowledge on her and her students most famous of all was Setanta, Cú Chulainn, the Hound of ulster whome she entrusted her spear to. The same spear made out of the head of the God she slew, you can see why Magnus has an interest in her.

<It is said that heroes went to train under her from across the lands> you note reciting what you know <are you suggesting that after some time I too go there?>

<Not yet> Magnus answers with a shake of his head, <we first need to get you there, I know where it is now all I need to do is perfect the means to astralise myself in there along with you, but yes you would gain a great measure of knowledge and skill from her that I would not be able to teach you as well as she could>

<I understand> you answer after a brief pause nodding your head.

<Well that is all I could have asked for, for the moment> Magnus replies petting you on the head with his massive red hand. <Say how would you like to further your skills in Biomancy or Divination, perhaps it is time you could try something new?> he suggest.

You are unsure but Magnus has never lead you astray sure he admits that he might get ahead of himself but perhaps if he is confident in you then perhaps you should try, but with his guidance.

[] Choose Divination, it would be nice if your powers of prediction were to become more powerful.

[] Choose Biomancy, perhaps if you were to focus here you could increase your understanding of how to use it on sentient organisms

[] Something new, maybe you could make use of one of the other disciplines (choose 1)
-[]Daemonology (locked until Shirou is adept in all others or a master of two)
-[]Pyromancy
-[]Telekinesis (Magnus's favourite)
-[]Telepathy

[] Ask Magnus if he can aid you in you Thaumaturgy, it is something you also need to work on

-[X]Telepathy

I recall Shirou earlier mentioning how it would be useful to him

Thinking we continue working on biomancy until we are able to cure Kerry to the point that the Grails curse won't kill him and he can rescue Illya as soon as possible.

I suppose telepathy would be very useful, though I hope telekinesis will be the next one after that, what with being Magnus' favorite and all.

Note; That will take Magnus getting heavily involved in the procedure, still very doable

So seeing as we can cure Kerry we should do it as soon as possible since what he has is pretty fatal and does do him in eventually. Especially since Illya is getting abused every single day we put it off and the sooner Kerry gets cured the sooner he could rescue her.
