Gratitude probably won't help, neither does pride. She's, well, mourning? Not so good, yes.
She's useful, although the survivors of the last war would have difficulties working with her. Well, no harm trying!

[X] Try to convince Medea to come with you, to Chaldea.
--[X] Appeal to her emotions. Tell her that she'll find a reason to live again if she joins Chaldea.
This world is dead. Both her homeland and her love are gone. But in another, her land still lives. Maybe her love too.
But that might not be the case for long.

I am kind of sad we couldn't save Olga from being sent to the shadow realm.

Would have been interesting to have Da Chief following us around.
I think I heard something about her soul still being around, it just was launched to another dimension? Heard it from the Melty Blood manga.

I'm not giving up my dreams of forming the most awesome RPG party ever. Karna is the Hero, Hargrave was his sidekick and Tank, while Medea was the perfect Black Mage. We can't lose our artillery.

Having Medea on board would be nice. Very nice. Great, really.
I mean, who else would summon the Savior of France?

I would like to point out that Unlike Grand Order, if we take all this trouble to recruit her then leave her on the bench for the rest of the Quest she will almost certainly do something nasty to us involving Rule Breaker. So while I want us to try and recruit Medea, it does mean we have less chance opportunity for summoning Servants later.

By homeland being gone she probably means Colchis. Though it could refer to this false-world, it might apply more broadly. Though the nation her son Medus helped found, Persia, is still going strong in the "real" world. That might be the core of a write-in, or at least a point. Also the absence of dickass gods in the modern world is a cause for optimism.

I don't think appealing to her pride would work all that well. She's pretty clearly in a hollow mood after getting her revenge and has nothing more to live for. Giving her some hope to accomplish something more would probably be the best approach. For once, the Witch of Betrayal can play the heroine, free of the strings of others binding her, perhaps...

I'll try a write-in after work if no one else has one. But Medea is a very overpowered Caster and an expert in Magic systems; she reverse-engineered the Grail System in a matter of days, after all. And Rule Breaker provides options we would otherwise not have. She's an excellent Servant choice as Caster for a team given her power and versatility.

So Olga is dead :(

Lev, you motherfucker.

As for Medea:

No, we're not going to just let her stay in this dead world, abandoned again. Screw that noise.

--[ ] Appeal to her sense of gratitude. You helped her defeat the darkness in this singularity. She can help you with the others.

Not going to work, she helped us more than we helped her, and frankly she could give less of a fuck if this singularity was'nt solved.

--[ ] Appeal to her pride. Tell her that her resignation is unbecoming of her name.

Appealing to the pride of a woman who already accepted death is a bit silly. Whatever arguments we could have made in this vein, she probably already had in her mind before coming to this decision.

--[ ] Appeal to her emotions. Tell her that she'll find a reason to live again if she joins Chaldea.

IMHO the most likely to work. Sure, she kept a good mask over her emotions while interacting with us, but we know she is an emotional person, who lets her hates and desires affect her judgement. She remained in this world in canon to find love again, and for all we know it could happen again.

--[ ] Appeal to her rationality. Dead, her skills will be wasted. Alive, she could be pivotal in saving the world.

Might also work, but to be honest I dont know how much she would care for other worlds. Living for the sake of saving others is EMIYA's thing, not Medea's.

Thus:

[X] Try to convince Medea to come with you, to Chaldea.
--[X] Appeal to her emotions. Tell her that she'll find a reason to live again if she joins Chaldea.

Hmm.

[X] Try to convince Medea to come with you, to Chaldea.
--[X] "You're no Witch of Betrayal, Medea. This is your chance to prove it. Help us save the world."

Half emotions, half pride.

Not recruiting her after seeing the kind of firepower she slings around? Yeah, not going to happen.

Magic must defeat Magic!

You wave her away when you're finally confident shuffling forward to catch up with the others. Rider falls into step beside you. You feel his hand on your shoulder.

"You did well."

"Look just- oh."

Steve: *Rider Senpai noticed me squeeee* T-Thanks.

Rider: *I heard that*

Steve:

Maybe this might work:
[X] Try to convince Medea to come with you, to Chaldea.

I get the feeling that Medea would go along well with Leo.

Not in a shipping sense. More of two professionals/geniuses talking shop with an intellectual equal.
