Would it be feasibly possible to destroy the Airship's engines or kill their command deck, to slow them down until our allies get here?

Also where the fuck are our two allies?!

I just want a plan to work out. All of my plans have been stupid thus far.

I would kamikaze Riya into the airship's bridge before letting Hilda get captured just so that 'this one fascist twat ain't so bad, she just respects strength' sidestory can be canon.

In fact I think Riya would canonically rather gun Hilda down with her machine guns, than let her be taken by these rapist scumtanks.

I can't decide, because every choice I have thus far made has ended up terribly.
 
The sidestory was very well written. If Hilda does get captured, I hope it becomes canon. The female Goth character was certainly interesting to read about.
Eh, let's try not te derail the quest just to pursue a side story. I can write more if I want to.

My apologies if I came off as overly hostile toward your story there, I was simply up-hackled at that moment by the concept of just giving up and leaving Hilda to the depredations of those twats.

For me the addition of 'Girlboss' simply did not overcome the revulsion of 'Fascist', with regard to the 'friendly' goth giving the recruitment pitch.

She's not supposed to be nice. The two very much are not exclusive terms.

(Do note that her "respecting strength" is focused almost entirely on how Hilda managed to get herself hurt, and not for accomplishing anything useful. Sacrifice for sacrifice's sake, proving you are though enough, that whole thing...)

Yes it is. Though the back seat was going to be saved for the package but you can just squeeze Hilda in there.

I know that this is going to shit. But you're going to be attacking an airship, which is always 2 altitude bands closer that usual. At knife range that means you roll 3 crit dice assuming your effective range stays the same. 32 damage will fucking destroy them, you've got this. You're going to get Hilda back.

All I need now is one more vote because its split.

Remember, you can Draw a Bead to add Calm instead of Hard, which you have a lot of. You can also rapid fire for extra ammo and advantage on the roll.

You were a better shot than Hilda. That was your strength, you could dodge and line up shots like no one you'd met. You turned your focus towards the command deck of the airship. Easy target, slow moving, more prey than you. You banked and aimed, staring through your little spider-web sight and taking a deep inhale while you waited for your compressors to refill the HMGs. You heard the shrill chirp of the tanks, signaling they were refilled, and mag dumped the painted wood and glass command deck with around half of your belts of 10mm diameter knife rounds. The entire deck was shredded under the fire. You wouldn't be surprised if every round connected. The wood was blown apart, the glass shattered, and the floor fell through, causing a pair of Goths to fall out to bottom towards their deaths. On top of that, much of the canvas on the nose of the airship was shredded.

You soared by the destroyed bridge to survey the damage, steering with your stick tucked between your legs while loading a pink flare and then a red one into your custom dual flare gun without looking, and shooting into the sky. You'd clarified before the mission with the other three it was code for PILOT CAPTURED as a mix of pink meaning PILOT DOWN and red meaning EMERGENCY. A flash of light caught your eye from far off, two planes now within shooting distance of the airship as well.

  • Take Fire is 2d10-Keen
  • Open fire is 2d10+Hard (or Calm if you draw a bead for a hard move)
