Which can also be completed by a perfect fidelity incarnation, IC, instead of having it handed to us in chargen.Guys, think of the citadel's potential!
If we complete it, we basically win. We can fight everybody at once! It's an epic project for us to focus on.
In the time frame we have available to us in the quest? I doubt it. I also kinda dislike the way reincarnation streamlines things, smooths over the narrative corners of the other options. If we have to enter a ruined citadel built by our predecessor, why should we get to ignore the traps and get free goodies like DB loyalist cells and memories that conveniently point us to strong and unfailing loyal allies? The way I see it, it's reinc that gives us free stuff; Peerless City just gives us a legendary opportunity and a stronger legacy.Which can also be completed by a perfect fidelity incarnation, IC, instead of having it handed to us in chargen.

Yeah, I just don't find it appealing, so I thought I'd share my reasons. Why? Nothing to reign in. In point of fact, us having access to all of that knowledge is one of the primary benefits of reincarnation. Arguing against that is a bit dumb, given its pretty much the best point in its favor.
Fair enough.Yeah, I just don't find it appealing, so I thought I'd share my reasons.
All things at which Odyssial is talented.Hmm... there is something to be said for discovering the world on your own. Creation is a vast setting filled with wonders, and its appeal lies not only in hitting people with swords that could do a fair surfboard impression, but also in unearthing its secrets through pain, sacrifice, and diligent research.
As is Ulyssian, the one who would actually need to do the discovering in the first place.
I don't think we going to go around exploring creation in adventure time.As is Ulyssian, the one who would actually need to do the discovering in the first place.
I don't think it's particularly safe to make assumptions about what we will or will not do when the prelude hasn't even concluded yet.I don't think we going to go around exploring creation in adventure time.
Gives Odyssial more time to do Lathe and maybe the Fairest helps Odyssial out in the process. She does help Odyssial out with his limit breaks. What is it about The Fairest that makes The Lathe of Heaven so much more terrifying?
Probably synergy with the Chosen of Serenity; Sidereal thematics lend themselves well to altering relationships, her kind in particular. What is it about The Fairest that makes The Lathe of Heaven so much more terrifying?

At the bottom of your post you should see a "More options" button. It has the dice-roller, which you can only use after posting. How do we roll dice on this board? Also, is the die roller at all suited to Exalted 3E? I know there are a lot of dice tricks.
I mean, we chose a bunch of options that are specifically boosted by having Odyssial's memories. Keeping Lea sane and in love with him, sealing an N/A sword withing his anima which he can retrieve with a charm should he know to, granting him access to the Sword of Creation, and giving him Artifact 5 armour he knows to look for. We also chose options (Terrifying everyone) that are suboptimal unless they are able to be managed.Reincarnation doesn't dilute Ulyssian's personality it enhances it with Odyssial's. Not to mention it also set's us up with a bunch of resources and allies as well as enabling several of the bonuses of the other choices like the Fairest.
