[Exalted, ?] Most High

Now that you have both Srivatsa and Narsil, it's time to consider what to do with your life! If you focus more on combat, you could be one of the greats. Able to go even with any Exalt in the setting! On the other hand, you're already a dreadnought in battle, so maybe a greater utility focus would serve you better? It's a question of specialization versus versatility, but also of what you want to be doing in general - a combatant is more suited to wandering adventures and First Age Ruin-delving, whereas a loremaster is superior at ruling.

I don't think Lily will like us limit breaking, nor will the people beneath us. Limit us is probably a bit brutal and maybe very obviously solar.

Are we be going to be getting an updated character sheet any time soon?

We've been pretty sedentary thus far, mainly 'cause I think we've seen where running off and adventuring at the edge of the world leads us. I mainly just want our Sorcerous kingdom to be a success, and Sorcery is kind of in a sweet spot between lore and combat.

I favor combat. Creation has a lot of people and things in it that ought to be buried within it instead. Lore is tempting, though, just to impress Moon and give Anys Syn a taste of what she can never have: peace.

Still, we should definitely Wake the Sleeper on our new armor when we get a chance.

And return Zao's too.

If we use govern wisely, Moon and Nilul will arrive earlier, thus allowing us to WtS faster, helping to increase our combat power in case Anys attacks at the start of the timeskip.

A Salient point!

Sorcery has excellent long-term applications, but we still need to get our house in order first. If we absolutely need a Working done this second, we can always call in our Ayala Favor.

Do we actually have an Ayala favor? That was just one of several possible things we could've gotten from the negotiations... plus, we'd still have to pay for the resources needed for the Working.

I really don't want the people of Luseng who we have sworn to look out for to get any of the Odyissial experience at all. I also don't want friends to potentially get any of the Ody experience as well. Especially since Lily won't be nearby to help mitigate it. We'll get limit break eventually and this would literally be the best way and time to do it. On people who actually deserve it with no chance of our friends potentially getting caught in it.

Also we have seriously passed it up many times before in the name of some other shiny and there will always be another shiny so this is basically the best time to get it. Seriously we have enough XP to get all 3 at once so we won't have to potentially spend more actions training it up in the future. We could get it all out of the way right now.

Also if we do this, Rihaku said we'd literally be the 3rd Solar circle Sorceror in all of Creation. That will give us a huge advantage in terms of what we can do and give us abilities that most won't know to defend or look at for.

You guys want to bring Moon here immediately but when Moon comes here I want to immediately buff her to Third Circle Demon level which is possible only with Sorcery.

Is next update gonna be a new story, or can we utilize Metis' super, limit break, then use it again prior to the transition for few extra dices?

Edit: nvm, that ability is specifically combat only...

We know Limit Break will happen no matter what we do and best we can do now is to channel and contain bat shit crazy that is Primodial death curse made worse by Odyssial own brand of crazy, because of course there is no way curse cast by my mortal enemies can hurt mw in any way, especially one that seems belpful on the surface. Hopefully we can use this chance to reset limit before people we care about get in range of our blow up and gain access to some of our past life memories that will tell us about Limit and Great Curse.
Two more things/speculations that are only tangentially related:
1. Wracking was Sid's way of removing Curse, after all Exaltation can1 be permanently lessened unless by the will of it's wielder. It fits, Exaltations weakened by exalts themselves, removing it is betrayal of Creation, that means that with death of Wracked Sid Cirse would be lifted. Now Anys Syn is probaly risking the whole thing failing.
2. Solar Tyrant that ruled city where Anys was growing was Odyssial which would explain utter hatred for Solars if she experienced most terrible of exalts.

Hmm. Checking on Merits, any Exalted learning Terrestrial Circle Sorcery -Charm also gain Thaumaturgist -Merit for free. It probably doesn't include any actual Thaumaturgical rituals for free, just the ability to learn and use them. But I wonder if we could gain an unique ritual for Ulyssian by paying XP for it, instead of just learning them from other Thaumaturgists in the case we find anything handy for our personal use?

I've just read the prologue again and realized the original Lily vote was even worse than I thought. We wagered an Sword N/A Artifact, for an Armor 5 Artifact, when we already have an Armor 4 Artifact and Odyssial had an Artifact 5 one that Lea likely knows where it is if we don't when we get more memories. What a stupid risk in comparison to the other options and neither the friendship, buffs or E5 was assured given the arguments that were had along with the significant chance of it not succeeding even if chosen. A great chunk of XP was also spent for marginal benefit before the fight itself. Bah.

[X] Consolidate Power
[X] Govern Wisely, Govern Well x3
-[X] Bankrupt your personal reserve to allow for intermittent use of Prophecies. Greatly enhances the effectiveness of this option, especially if taken 3 or more times.

This should ensure our satrapy is secured beyond all measure especially with the boost this should give to the City God. This should then give us time to step back to focus on ourselves if Anys hasn't acted yet.

Sorcery + Limit Break should at least end some of the interminable arguments going on in the Quest. For one or two updates, anyway.

Finally the sorcery will have what they want and we can gain some additional tool to fight.
