But, yeah, we need to 11 (?) stress to Break, so no matter how cruel it is to deny Uly his one and only vice, we can't let him train.
 
Solar Circle Sorcery also potentially gives you time dilation! You'll still need ~a month or so to actually cast that Working, but think of the (eventual) savings!

Assuming Anys Syn doesn't attack, of course.
 
Yeah, not counting on that, want Moon in our corner with Lily waiting in the wings if we need to form a posse against something.

Doesn't that also come with Malfean aesthetics? Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, though... We could make Anys feel right at home!
 
I would say that getting thaumaturgy and sorcery now will give us later on even shinier paradise. But I will have schedule further arguing for my opinion for later, as I have some other things to do right now.

Okay, one more point before I go: if we go with Govern Wisely and trigger the Limit Break, our methods on the issue will be twisted with Odyssial-like rutheless efficiency. I would like to discharge that on plotting viziers, not on the innocent population.

I think you mean the Fire Nation, mate. Also, are you sure I can't tempt you with the prospect of 3CD Moon and the security of added personal power when Anys comes to kill us? No matter how high we build here, it could all come tumbling down, and defences to deter beastmen aren't going to be much more than dust in the wind before the might of a Usurper restored to more than a shadow of her former power.

Jokes aside, Sorcery is absurdly useful and we've passed it up every single time it's been offered. We can build up the people now and hope Anys Syn doesn't grind our works to dust, but approval is fleeting, and power over the fundamental forces of the universe stays with us no matter what.
