The winners are
[X] South-Eastern Border Zone and [X] Not Necessary. We have some book-keeping decisions to make before the update, which I'm aiming to begin writing later tonight.
Given the additional travel time, Nameless has been able to master Tyranshal's Potentiation. Decide whether to expend a Beyond Point on this spell:
[ ] Spend a Beyond Point - Blood cost reduced by 75%, allowing for perpetual two-step (x4 -> x6) enhancement on Haltsuphrect's Quickening on yourself, though not your allies. Further augmentation with an Artifact might allow for liberal use of two-step enhancements or increase the maximum potency of blood augmentation on your Diagrams.
[ ] Don't Spent a Beyond Point - You can likely create an Artifact to help replenish your blood at some point, but you will only be able to reliably improve Haltsuphrect's Quickening by one step (x4 -> x5) for the foreseeable future - and only because, as a Pseudolich, you don't need blood to live.
Discussion and fanwork bonuses for the last two timeskips have been banked and are ready to be expended. You may select
one of the following benefits for Nameless to acquire before he reaches the South-Eastern Border Zone:
[ ] +1 Mastermind Point (reduced from +2 due to strenuous training last timeskip, removes Mastermind Debt)
[ ] Master Kleinvarr's Greater Refining - Nameless estimates this will increase the benefit of ingested cultivation materials by 20-100% on average. Also unlocks the ability to
spend Beyond Point(s) on it. Warning: improving the 'quality' of poisonous materials may also 'upgrade' their toxicity.
[ ] A Fierce Migration - While the beasts on the border of south-eastern Kong tend not to exceed the level of the Dao Cleaving stage, it appears that some event deeper in the Kong forests has precipitated a major outward migration of mightier beasts, progressively displacing those before them. Beasts of potentially the Reality Forming stage will now appear in this Zone; Nameless will typically have significant forewarning before before confronted by one. Treasure Quantity increased to Prodigious, +30% chance of finding a Priceless Treasure.
[ ] Xiaoling Cultivation Boost - Nameless has discerned how to Go Beyond the standard Ego Barrier stage, but his method requires that the Cultivator also be a Diagram Magus. With this, he will discover a way for Elves (theoretically) and Half-Elves to also access the Absolute Ego Barrier Stage, and is guaranteed to teach it quickly to his Second, Ming Xiaoling. [Xiaoling Loyalty++, Xiaoling now fights +.75 stages above her Cultivation Base]

Now that Nameless has reached the Border Zone, what should his priority be?
[ ] Seek Cultivation Materials - Hunt the great beasts of the Border Zone region, and harvest Cultivation resources from their organs. Search the ancient dungeons of the region for relics and eldritch flora which your Artifacts and talents ensure you are perfectly positioned to exploit. Attempt to increase the level of your Cultivation base aggressively and help your Lackeys somewhat catch up.
[ ] [The Ring] Seek the Lich Stronghold - Now that you have brought your Cultivation and Artifice levels up to par, it is time to re-focus on the centerpiece of your power: the magic of the Diagram. You are pretty sure you can find the liches in this region if you commit a substantial amount of time to seeking them out. Who knows what formidable spells and secrets of the Diagram they might be able to offer you, whether at swordpoint or through trade?
[ ] Hunt Forbidden Cultivators [Suizhen Loyalty+] - Hunt the poison-refining Forbidden Cultivators that visit this region, and eradicate them for defying the Orthodoxy or shake them down for knowledge of their poison-manipulating Forbidden Techniques. Most Cultivation effects that do not emerge from a Dao require some fairly drastic alterations to the Organ Refining or Soul Chrysalis phases. Best to learn them now if you wish to exploit poisons in the future, but be wary that you are not yourself scammed!
The mention of monks reminded me - what is their religion like in the Empire and beyond?
Why, Daoism, of course!
