I imagine the next part of it is the capes looking on in shock as a few of them put away half drawn weapons. Slowly switching their gaze between the smoking barrel of the gun the director is holding and the twitching corpse of tentacles that only made it a few feet from where they were standing. Piggot calmly saying, "I'll go ahead and update her ratings."
