[x] Make none - Too dangerous

It's such a precious resource, would really like something permanent out of it

[X] Make one - (Keth)

We are not gonna fight in the warp, so this might be a key card just in case we get trapped if in a bad situation. A secret ace just in case.

I can't help but think of moonsilver as the perfect semiconductor for electronics. A metal that can perfectly change and seems to have infinite potential would surely help with that. And orichalcum seems to be a conductor for magic, would that translate as being treated as a perfect superconductor?

Like HexTech from Arcane or Paratech from SCP Verse?

[x] Make none - Too dangerous
I rather use such valuable materials for something premanent like a sword or a machine.

I just had an interesting thought. This mutation:

Homogeneity

6 PointsThe fomor can cancel the powers of other supernaturals around her.System: The fomor spends one Willpower point and rolls Manipulation+Intimidation (difficulty 7). Any supernatural within 5 yards of the fomor will be affected. Vampires may not use their Disciplines, Garou cannot use their Gifts, mages cannot use Spheres, etc. Targets may resist with Willpower rolls (difficulty 7).

Basically just allows Fan to Red-line his essence towards what Lorgar called Yang, to make himself briefly (and reversibly) Pariah, but we do not have the option to do the same with Yin, the energy of Chaos and the Warp, Fan is not and cannot be a psyker. There are two reasons I can think of for this:
  1. Exaltation sees how bad the world has gotten and basically refuses to expose itself to that mess
  2. Whatever is in the Warp is for some reason anathema to this Exaltation, it would break something to make him a psyker given now that works

Exalted Martial Arts and Demigods
Exalted Martial Arts and Demigods: A Divine Dance of Essence and Narrative
"In all ages mankind has found the need to defend themselves. While many choose to wield weapons, others prefer to fight bare-handed, believing that by doing so they will 'always be armed.' Over time, these seemingly brutish methods evolved into sophisticated schools of self-defense, retaining their effectiveness while embracing deeper spiritual philosophies and showcasing elegance alongside combative prowess."

What is Exalted Martial Arts?
Exalted Martial Arts are a unique and multifaceted form of combat that goes beyond mere physical techniques. Exalted Martial Arts encompass a wide range of mundane techniques and physical movements that are enhanced and elevated to supernatural levels through the use of Essence.

At their core, Exalted Martial Arts are about more than just hitting an opponent; they are about embodying a particular style or philosophy of combat. Each Martial Art is a reflection of the culture, beliefs, and capabilities of its practitioners, and this is where the mundane techniques come into play. These techniques are the foundation upon which the magical effects are built, and they serve to ground the Martial Art in the physical world.

For example, the Snake Style might include physical techniques such as precise strikes, blocks, and parries, which are then enhanced by magical effects that make the strikes faster, more accurate, or more damaging. The physical movements of the style are not just a means to an end; they are an integral part of the Martial Art itself, embodying its principles and ideals.

Similarly, the Ebon Shadow Style might include techniques for stealth, evasion, and misdirection, all of which are enhanced by magical effects that allow the practitioner to move unseen and strike from the shadows. Again, the physical movements of the style are essential to its effectiveness, as they enable the practitioner to blend into their surroundings and move with the fluidity of darkness itself.

In this way, Exalted Martial Arts are a holistic approach to combat, combining physical techniques, mental discipline, and magical effects into a seamless whole. Practitioners of these arts are not just fighters; they are artists, philosophers, and mystics, all seeking to perfect their craft and embody the ideals of their chosen style. Whether they are striking down foes with the force of a hurricane or moving with the grace of a falling leaf, those who practice Exalted Martial Arts are truly a force to be reckoned with.

More than just Combat
Martial arts are not merely a means of combat but a journey of self-discovery, spiritual enlightenment, and cosmic harmony. Terrestrial Martial Arts ground the practitioner in the natural world, emphasizing worldly inspirations. Celestial Martial Arts elevate the practitioner to new heights, aligning their essence with the greater forces of the universe. Sidereal Martial Arts represent the pinnacle of martial achievement, delving into the manipulation of the universe and the profound mysteries of the cosmos.

Each level of martial arts reflects a different narrative, a different journey. From the grounded strength of the Terrestrial to the celestial harmony of the Celestial, and finally, to the enlightened mastery of the Sidereal, the practitioners of these arts embody the essence of their journeys. Their Charms are not just techniques but expressions of their stories, their connections to the world, and their places within the grand tapestry of existence.

Practitioners channel narratives and themes of the style to manifest extraordinary effects, drawing upon the essence of the universe. This allows warriors to overcome adversity by embodying the deeper truths and principles of their chosen styles.

Exalted Martial arts are an art that bridges the gap between the physical and the metaphysical. The different levels of exalted martial arts, Terrestrial, Celestial, and Sidereal, reflect the practitioner's journey through the cosmos, embodying varying degrees of power, enlightenment, and connection to the universe's essence.

The Foundations: Terrestrial Martial Arts
Terrestrial Martial Arts are the foundation upon which the higher forms are built. They emphasize discipline, physical conditioning, and the mastery of elemental forces and animalistic natures. The narrative of Terrestrial Martial Arts revolves around the practitioner's connection to the natural world and their ability to harness and embody natural powers.

In a remote mountain temple, Tepet Arada, a young Dragon-Blooded, trained tirelessly. "Stand firm, like the mountains," he whispered to himself, feeling the earth's strength beneath his feet. His mastery of the Earth Dragon Style reflected his unyielding spirit and the stability of the earth itself.

The Ascent: Celestial Martial Arts
As one ascends from Terrestrial to Celestial Martial Arts, the scope and power of the techniques expand dramatically. These martial arts are not just about physical prowess but also about spiritual and cosmic harmony. The narrative of Celestial Martial Arts revolves around the practitioner's journey to align their essence with the greater forces of the universe.

In the heart of the jungle, Raksi, a Lunar Exalted, moved with the grace of a nightingale. "Let the melody of the nightingale guide me," she sang softly, her voice resonating with the essence of the Silver-Voiced Nightingale Style. Her movements were a dance of cosmic harmony, her strikes a symphony of celestial power.

The Pinnacle: Sidereal Martial Arts
Sidereal Martial Arts represent the pinnacle of martial achievement. These martial arts transcend physical combat and delve into the manipulation of the fabric of reality. The narrative of Sidereal Martial Arts is one of enlightenment, destiny, and the practitioner's role as a weaver of the threads of the universe.

In the celestial city of Yu-Shan, Chejop Kejak, a Sidereal Exalted, meditated upon the mysteries of the universe. "To understand the patterns of fate is to wield true power," he murmured, his movements reflecting the intricate patterns of the Prismatic Arrangement of Creation Style. His mastery allowed him to manipulate destiny itself, weaving the threads of fate with enlightened purpose.

Primarch: An Engineered Demigod
In the era of the Great Crusade, the Primarchs stand as demi-godlike beings, each embodying distinct aspects of power, leadership, and martial prowess. These progenitors of the Space Marine Legions are not mere mortals; their existence is a fusion of the physical and the divine, making them unique in their era.

One fascinating dimension of their abilities is their potential to harness Exalted Martial Arts. However, the path to mastering these arts is fraught with conditions and limitations, aligning with their divine nature and overarching narrative.

Awakening Essence
The journey to mastering Exalted Martial Arts for a Primarch begins with the awakening of their Essence. Essence is the fundamental energy that flows through all living things, a connection to the very fabric of the universe. For a Primarch, awakening this Essence is akin to tapping into their inherent divinity, a realization of their true potential, to balance the spiritual with the physical. This awakening is not a trivial task; it requires prerequisite, a profound introspection, spiritual enlightenment, and often, a catalytic event that triggers their ascension to a higher state of being.

Compatibility with Divine Aspects
Once a Primarch's Essence is awakened, they gain the potential to learn Exalted Martial Arts. However, their learning is restricted to martial arts that resonate with their divine aspects. Each Primarch embodies specific principles and powers, and the martial arts they can master must align with these core elements. This compatibility ensures that the techniques they employ are not just physical maneuvers but extensions of their inherent nature and narrative.

For example, a Primarch like Lorgar Aurelian, whose aspect is deeply intertwined with Holy, Light and Humanity would only be able to learn martial arts that reflect these themes. Conversely, a Primarch like Angron, embodying rage and raw physical power, would master martial arts that amplify and channel his berserker fury.

Beyond Mortal Learning
Despite their mortal countenance, Primarchs cannot learn martial arts as mortals do. The conventional paths of martial training and discipline that mortals follow are insufficient for beings of such divine stature. Primarchs require a higher form of instruction, one that integrates their Essence and aligns with their grand narratives. This distinction underscores their unique status in the cosmos, bridging the gap between mortal and divine.

Mastering Celestial & Sidereal Martial Arts
Unlike ordinary mortals, Primarchs can learn Exalted Martial Arts, advanced forms of combat that draw upon the celestial energies and principles governing the universe. Mastering these exalted martial arts is not merely about having the power or strength to do so, they involve the manipulation of cosmic forces, spiritual enlightenment, and the embodiment of higher truths.

However, even in this elevated sphere, the compatibility with their divine aspects remains paramount. The martial arts they master must enhance and reflect their inherent narrative, creating a seamless integration of power and purpose.

The Narrative of a Primarch
To understand how Exalted Martial Arts interact with the narrative of a Primarch, let us delve into an illustrative example:

As the Primarch of the Imperial Heralds, Lorgar's existence was a testament to the power of Humanity, light and holiness. His path was one of unyielding devotion, and his martial prowess needed to mirror these Aspects.

Lorgar cannot not learn martial arts as mortals do; his divine nature sets him apart. However, within him burned a celestial flame, allowing him to access the sacred techniques of those Exalted Martial Arts that resonate with his overall narrative.

Conclusion
The Primarchs' potential to master Exalted Martial Arts adds a profound layer to their already formidable abilities. By awakening their Essence and aligning their martial training with their divine Archetypes, Primarchs and demigods can tap into the very fabric of the cosmos, channeling narratives and themes that transcend mere combat.

The martial arts they learn are not just techniques but profound expressions of their inherent nature and overarching narrative. Whether through Solar Hero Style or another Martial Arts, each Primarch's journey through martial arts reflects their unique story, embodying the divine truths that define their existence. This integration of martial prowess and divine narrative elevates their combat to an art form, making them not only warriors of immense power but also embodiments of cosmic principles and spiritual enlightenment.

Sons of the Primarchs:
Space Marines, as the genetically-engineered warriors of the Imperium, are deeply connected to their Primarchs. This connection goes beyond mere genetics; it extends to a spiritual and psychological level. One of the key aspects of this connection is the ability of Space Marines to channel aspects of their Primarchs' narratives, albeit in a lesser form.

Genetic Inheritance: Space Marines are created using the genetic material of their Primarchs. This genetic bond is more than just physical; it also carries elements of the Primarchs' personalities, traits, and, importantly, their stories or narratives.

Psychic Resonance: The warp, a chaotic dimension of psychic energy, is deeply influenced by emotion, belief, and narrative. The stories of the Primarchs, filled with heroism, tragedy, and triumph, resonate strongly in the warp. Space Marines, being psychic beings to some extent, can tap into this resonance.

Chapter Cults: Each Space Marine Chapter venerates its Primarch and has its own rituals, beliefs, and stories about their Primarch's deeds. These chapter cults are a way for Space Marines to internalize and reinforce the narratives associated with their Primarchs.

Rites and Rituals: Space Marine rituals often mirror events or themes from their Primarch's life. These rituals serve to connect the Space Marines with the narrative of their Primarch, reinforcing their sense of identity and purpose.

Battlefield Inspiration: In the heat of battle, Space Marines may consciously or unconsciously draw upon the narratives of their Primarchs. This could manifest as increased courage, tactical insight, or physical prowess, mirroring the feats of their Primarchs.

Relics and Artifacts: Relics and artifacts associated with the Primarchs carry a potent narrative resonance. When a Space Marine wields such an artifact, they may find themselves more attuned to their Primarch's narrative, drawing strength and inspiration from it.

Meditation and Contemplation: Space Marines often meditate on the deeds and teachings of their Primarchs. This practice helps them to internalize the narratives of their Primarchs, strengthening their connection to them.

Chapter Masters and Captains: Leaders within a Space Marine Chapter, especially those who have a strong connection to their Primarch, can act as conduits for their Primarch's narrative. Their words and actions can inspire their battle-brothers to emulate the virtues of their Primarch.

Overall, the channeling of their Primarch's narratives allows Space Marines to draw strength, inspiration, and purpose from their genetic heritage. It reinforces their sense of identity as warriors of the Imperium and helps them to embody the ideals of their Primarchs on the battlefield and beyond.

Space Marines and Martial Arts:
In the vast and varied training regimens of the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, the pursuit of martial prowess is paramount. While they are capable of mastering a wide array of terrestrial martial arts, a select few, those who are deeply attuned to their Primarch's mythos, can transcend these disciplines and learn what is known as Celestial Martial Arts.

For a Space Marine to learn a Celestial Martial Art is a rare and exceptional occurrence. These martial arts are deeply intertwined with the narratives and mythos of the Primarchs, embodying their essence and reflecting their legendary feats. To learn a Celestial Martial Art is to channel the spirit and power of the Primarch themselves, transcending the physical realm and tapping into something far greater.

Each Primarch is associated with a particular Celestial Martial Art, a style that reflects their personality, tactics, and abilities.

The learning of a Celestial Martial Art is not simply a matter of physical training; it requires a deep spiritual connection to the Primarch and an understanding of their mythos. Those who are able to achieve this level of mastery become legendary figures within their Chapter, embodying the ideals and prowess of their Primarch in their every movement.

In conclusion, while Space Marines are capable of mastering terrestrial martial arts, only a rare few who are deeply connected to their Primarch's mythos can learn a Celestial Martial Art.

Yeah that is about how I thought it would work. Celestial Martial Arts are a big deal, the Dragonblooded needed to reach beyond themselves though years of discipline an meditation to learn the Immaculate styles and they were themselves semi-divine, if of a lesser power than the Celestial Exalted. Just the fact that all Marines have the potential to learn Terrestrial styles is already very powerful, they can be pretty damn potent on their own, in peace and in war.

The most fascinating thing to me about the above though is the mention of Sidereal Martial Arts... where would we even find those? I do not think they would ever be written down so that leaves two possibilities:
  1. We find a Chosen of the Maidens or one of their Exaltations after all this time
  2. We dream of a style Fan's predecessors learned long ago
Both seem like long-shots, but if we could though....

Also, in case it was not clear, you can teach any one the physical techniques of say, Sloar Hero Style, it is just that without awakened essence and other requirements, they cannot make use of the Charm effects.

They grant benifits and difficulty reductions when certain conditions are met, like using certain weapons, facing down certain foes.

So no MA is useless to your soldiers, SM and otherwise. It is just that not everyone can learn all MA, human limits on learning apply.
