[X] Plan: Spiritual Basics
-[X] Rite of Cleansing (Level 1): This ritual purifies objects tainted by the Warp, making them safe for use. Sacred seals are placed on the afflicted object, and a lit torch or smoldering oils are used to sanctify it. Finally, pure water or snow is sprinkled over the object with a wrench, cleansing it of warp-taint.
-[X] Rite of Calming (Level 1): Used to pacify machine spirits, preventing conflict between them and the Tech-priests. An enactor approaches with a small offering tailored to the specific machine spirit, such as sacred oils or energy cells. After presenting the offering, the enactor recites a prayer for five minutes, soothing the machine spirit and making it compliant.
-[X] Rite of Activation (Level 2): Wakes dormant machine spirits, bringing them back to active function. A sacred hymn is played on the vox by a Tech-Priest to rouse the spirit from slumber.

[] Rite of Calming (Level 1) sounds like it could be a very useful tool for our quest to bring forth a return of the men of stone. If we awaken one that has the AI equivalent to trauma then it'll be useful for giving us a chance to initiate diplomacy.

Technically, I think we could continue to develop rituals on our own. These are for the initial batch which we share with the AdMech. @Yzarc, do we learn enough here for Lorgar to develop unchosen rituals later or are these all we're getting without additional AdMech collaboration?
EDIT: Also, what does "capped by Aspect" mean?

Just the mechanicum.

You can develop it on your own from here.

This is just the core of what you want to spread far and wide.

Also keep in mind that these are just the rituals. They still have ghe "spells/miracles" which I am not listing here.

Same as weight for Sorcery. The more implants you have, thd more powerful thd ritual/spell/miracle.

It is the limit on how many dots you can have in the "Mechanicus path" Though no petals of the Warp as it uses faith.
So you need to be totally cogged up to case the Rite of Incarnation, for example? How much cyberwear is required for each level? And does biotech count or are genators limited in their access to higher level rites?

This is being abstracted but ghe scale goes from, new tech-priest at lvl 1 to fabricator general at lvl 5.

So all the listed rites should be feasible with more mid-tier stuff like cybernetic spines or Mind Impulse Units? What level would our tribesmen have access to given their level of comfort with cybernetics and the workshop we have available?

The point about biotech is interesting. If the Mechanicus has any Genators with him or even mentions their existence that might be something we really want to put some work into making possible, because Space Marines are full of biotech.

You are getting some magos around lvl 3 to 4 in one of the actions. So this has yet to be determined.

Even otherwise, you personally and Lorgar are not bound by the rules. The tribsmen will need to be educated in Mechanicus beliefs for them to power the ritual, let alone learn it.

Bio tech does not work. The concept is mixing human and machine.

[X] Plan "The Simple Things"
-[X] Rite of Maintenance (Level 1): A sacred ritual performed by the Adeptus Mechanicus to maintain or restore functionality to damaged machines. This ritual requires the user to use sanctified oils and cleansing tools during maintenance and repair.
-[X] Rite of Warding (Level 1): Protects the machine spirit from the corrupting influence of the Warp and its denizens. Sacred texts are inscribed on the machine, and a prayer is recited for one minute per level of protection desired, removing dice from attempts to transform, infect, taint, transport, control, manipulate or corrupt the machine or its spirit.

Rite of Incarnation is a bit too high concept imo, and these three are the bread and butter of the AdMech. Maintain/Fix Stuff, make sure freshly recovered tech isn't secretly full of daemons, make sure the tech we already have doesn't become full of daemons. Calming, Activation and possibly Incarnation are definitely things I want to work on later, but this provides a very solid foundation to work with.

Hmm. So we can't try to expand it conceptually to include the idea of achieving this by making the flesh into a machine, which is Genetor ideology. We're essentially completely discrediting that entire branch of Mechanicus doctrine here, if this spreads.

As a second question, does this update means he can/have built these rituals so they count as prayers to us, so if they spread amount the Mechanicus they're generate a Cult background for us?

No. The core concept is Lorgar using the principles of symmetry where like attracts like, to usurp the prayers ment for the Machine God to directly power the miracle.

So normally, you pray to a God. The god hears the prayer and performs a miracle for you using the energy of the prayer, after eithering taking a cut or putting a bit extra.

What Lorgar did was cut out the middleman. So you directly power the miracle with your faith, the limitation being your weight.
