Hm, one imagines that Fan Morgal will want to close the Chaos rift eventually, sooner rather than later. At the same time, though, this Archmagos may not desire such a thing until his research is complete. If so, Fan Morgal would need to provide assistance that would be commensurate with what the Archmagos would lose from the sealing of the rift.

Hm, the Men of Stone would probably compensate for that research obstruction multiple times over.

Other than the Men of Stone, is there anything that Fan Morgal can do to help this Archmagos become the Fabricator-General of Milhand? It is always about networking, connections. Whom you know is at least as important as if not more so than what you know.

Turn 2: Offers and counter offers
Colchis - 831.M30

As the decision was made to include Lorgar in the negotiations, the atmosphere in the enclave shifted, a sense of anticipation mingling with the ever-present hum of machinery. The negotiations commenced with the Archmagos presenting his request with characteristic precision.

"I require your assistance in translating a language known as Enuncia," the Archmagos stated, his voice a blend of mechanical precision and a hint of urgency. Enuncia, a term that had baffled you earlier, now took on a new significance. The Archmagos explained that Enuncia was a language of immense power, capable of manipulating reality itself. It was a language lost to the ages, known only in fragments and whispers among the most ancient texts.

After hours of intense deliberation, a fragment of Enuncia was revealed to you, a single word that held within it the promise of untold power. Just from the word, you understood that the language was complex, its syntax and grammar unlike any known human language. It required a deep understanding of ancient texts and a keen intuition for deciphering cryptic symbols and obscure references.

But not for you. One use of your power and all of its secrets were laid bare before you. You found that not only could you understand the language, but you could also speak it without any adverse effects. It was as if the language had recognized something within you, a resonance that allowed you to wield its power safely.

After this revelation, both you and the Archmagos realized the gravity of the knowledge you were about to uncover. The Archmagos proposed a contract, a binding agreement that would govern the sharing of any discoveries made during your collaboration.

The contract stipulated that neither party would be allowed to teach anyone else what was discovered about Enuncia from the collaboration unless they learned of it independently. This clause was crucial, as the power of Enuncia was too great to be wielded carelessly.

The loophole was obvious and favored the Archmagos, but you found that you could not push for more, having reached the Archmagos' bottom line on the matter.

As the negotiations progressed, you found yourself faced with an unexpected proposal from the Archmagos. After explaining the terms of your offer to grant him a wish for knowledge, making him as knowledgeable as an Archmagos in another field of specialization, the Archmagos surprised you by not even bothering to ask for a cost. Instead, he proposed a different arrangement.

"I counter propose that you utilize my subordinates," the Archmagos stated, his voice echoing through the chamber. "In return, after they have transcribed all acquired knowledge into a secure and isolated repository, protected from external influence, I will present them to you as permanent additions to your tribe."

As the negotiations unfolded, the proposal from the Archmagos sparked a fierce debate. You, Lorgar, and the Archmagos argued back and forth, each presenting their arguments and counterarguments.

You argued that granting the Archmagos' subordinates' wishes would not be as beneficial as granting the Archmagos himself a wish.

"Your subordinates might not have the same level of expertise or understanding to fully utilize the knowledge granted to them," you pointed out. "On the other hand, granting you a wish would ensure that the knowledge is used to its fullest potential, benefiting not only you but also the wider your forge world as well."

Lorgar, ever the voice of reason, pointed out that the risk involved in granting the wish to the Archmagos could be mitigated.

"The wish could be granted under strict conditions, ensuring that the contract would benefit all," he suggested. Furthermore, Lorgar argued that "the potential gains from granting the wish to you far outweighs the risks."

The Archmagos, however, remained adamant.

"The risk is unacceptable," he stated, unwilling to take any risk, preferring instead to offer the wishes to his subordinates, who would suffer the brunt of any unexpected consequences.

As the negotiations progressed, a new challenge arose. It was discovered that the Archmagos' subordinates needed to have a basic understanding of the field in which they would receive knowledge, already mastered to a certain level. This requirement added a layer of complexity to the agreement, as it limited the pool of potential recipients.

The Archmagos, realizing the implications of this requirement, began to express doubts about the deal. He argued that finding suitable candidates among his subordinates would be difficult and that the risks outweigh the benefits. He suggested backing out of the agreement altogether.

You, however, were determined to see the deal through. You understood the importance of the knowledge being transferred and the impact it could have on your tribe. You argued that with the right guidance and support, the Archmagos' subordinates could replace the lost subordinates and the new knowledge would more than make up for it.

The Archmagos remained stubbornly insistent on only offering one subordinate for the knowledge transfer. He believed that focusing on a single individual would minimize the risks and allow for better control over the outcome. You, on the other hand, believed that more subordinates would increase the chances of success and ensure that the knowledge was utilized to its fullest potential.

As the debate reached a stalemate, it seemed like the negotiations were on the verge of breaking down. However, Lorgar, ever the mediator, intervened. He argued that a compromise could be reached, one that would satisfy both parties. After much discussion and deliberation, a middle ground was found. The Archmagos agreed to hand over seven of his subordinates for the knowledge transfer, a number that both parties deemed acceptable.

The negotiation between you and Archmagos Zabius Seroniaz took an unexpected turn when he expressed a desire to learn the ancient root language you had spoken.

"You seek the knowledge of the root language, a language that can propel you into being the Fabricator-General," you began, addressing the Archmagos. "In return, I require a guarantee of future support for my tribe."

The Archmagos considered your proposition, his mechanical features betraying no emotion. "What kind of support do you seek?" he inquired, his voice steady and analytical.

"I seek a favor that can be called in the future," you replied. "This favor could range from declaring war to forming an alliance with third parties."

Lorgar stepped forward, just as the Archmagos was about to refuse.

"I believe this is a fair exchange," he began, addressing the Archmagos. "but it would be conditional on Colchis being united and recognized as an interstellar power. The knowledge of the root language is valuable and the cost would not be immediate, contingent on Colchis as an interstellar power."

The Archmagos nodded, seemingly convinced by Lorgar's words. "I must consider this proposal," he conceded.

As the negotiations between your tribe and the Adeptus Mechanicus continued, Lorgar stepped forward with a surprising proposal.

"I offer to consolidate the rituals of the Mechanicus and streamline them, making them more efficient," he declared, his voice carrying a conviction that demanded attention.

The Archmagos, known for his composed demeanor, went very still at Lorgar's proposal. His mechanical eyes seemed to bore into Lorgar, assessing the potential implications of such a radical suggestion.

After a moment of tense silence, the Archmagos spoke, his voice measured and composed. His mechadendrite places a broken energy weapon before Lorgar.

"Demonstrate," he requested, his tone betraying none of the emotion that flickered in his eyes.

Lorgar nodded, understanding the weight of what he was about to attempt. He began to move with purpose, his motions a blend of the tribal rituals he had learned and the technological precision of the Mechanicus. As he performed, you could feel a change in the air, a subtle shift in the energy of the enclave.

The ritual Lorgar performed was a sight to behold. Each movement was deliberate, each incantation precise. It was as if he was conducting a symphony of ancient knowledge and modern understanding, weaving them together into a seamless whole. The efficiency with which Lorgar conducted the rituals was breathtaking, each action serving a specific purpose, each word resonating with power.

As Lorgar completed the ritual, a profound change swept through the enclave. The weapon, once damaged and inert, began to hum with energy. The metal twisted and shifted, repairing itself under Lorgar's careful hands. It was a sight both miraculous and unnerving, as if the very laws of physics were being rewritten.

The Archmagos, ever the observer of such phenomena, noted the similarity to sorcery but recognized a crucial difference.

"This is not sorcery," he mused, his voice resonating with a mixture of fascination and caution. "Not wholly powered by the Warp. Ritual efficiency well beyond expectation."

There was a pause and the Archmagos, still looking visibly impressed, broke the silence. "Impressive," he acknowledged, his mechanical voice resonating with a hint of awe. "Your proposal has merit. We shall discuss its implementation further."

The negotiations took a new turn, as Lorgar's proposal opened up possibilities for collaboration that had previously been unthinkable. As the implications of Lorgar's demonstration sank in, you saw an opportunity to leverage this new development for your tribe's benefit.

Turning to the Archmagos, you stated firmly, "For this knowledge, I would require more than a simple trade. I would require an alliance, should you ascend to the position of Fabricator General."

The Archmagos regarded you with a calculating gaze, clearly weighing the potential benefits and risks of such an alliance. "An alliance," he mused, his voice tinged with intrigue. "What form would this alliance take? What would be expected of me?"

You outlined your terms, emphasizing the mutual benefits of such an alliance. You spoke of sharing knowledge and resources, of standing united against common threats, and of forging a future where both the Mechanicum and your tribe could thrive.

The Archmagos listened intently, his expression unreadable. After a moment of silence, he spoke, his voice measured yet firm. "An alliance of this nature is not to be entered into lightly," he began. "But I can see the potential benefits. If I were to become Fabricator General, I would consider such an alliance. Provided you or the Scion ruled this world as an Interstellar power."

With the terms laid out, the negotiations entered a new phase, one where the future of both the Mechanicum and your tribe hung in the balance. It was a pivotal moment, a turning point that could shape the course of history.

As negotiations closed, the Archmagos expressed his desire to learn the last parts of the Summoning and Binding sorcery. This knowledge was crucial for him to complete his studies and begin building his anti-warp protections, a goal of utmost importance for the Archmagos.

You, however, saw an opportunity. In exchange for granting the wishes of some of the Archmagos' subordinates for power in sorcery, you proposed that he provide you with basic technology and a workshop to produce it. This technology would not only benefit your tribe but also serve as a foundation for further advancements, especially with Lorgar's improvements to the rituals.

The Archmagos, intrigued by the offer, agreed. He saw the potential for collaboration in advancing both your goals and his. However, he stipulated that you must learn and use the improved rituals that Lorgar or the rituals of the Mechanicus. This condition was non-negotiable, as the Archmagos believed that the rituals were essential for honoring the machine spirits.

With the terms set, the negotiations concluded, and a pact was formed. The Archmagos would gain the knowledge he sought, while you would receive the tools and resources needed to further your own ambitions. It was a mutually beneficial agreement, one that would shape the future of both your tribe and the Adeptus Mechanicus.

PLAN VOTE:
A number of deals have been negotiated. Choose any number of them. These count as your Project/actions for this turn.

[] Teach the Archmagos the root language from the charm.

--In return you get a favor, to be called in later, once you become an intersteller power.

[] Translate Enuncia.

– You translate what few words of Enuncia that the Archmagos knows. The knowledge gained about the language and the words are the payment. There is a restriction from teaching this to anyone for 1000 years unless you learn it independently.

[] Lorgar will build up on the faith of the Mechanicus and crystalize them into miracles.

–This is the equivalent of using Miracles from True Faith but on the Mechanicus faith rather than true faith. More on this if you pick this option, but this is an extremely streamlined and improved version of what the Emperor used to subdue Mars by usurping their technology. Expect Mars to be very unhappy with this being spread around when they find out. In return you get an alliance with Milhand if the Archmagos succeeds in his goals of becoming the Fabricator-General.

[] Offer the Savant Background to up to 7 students of the Archmagos.

–You turn seven Magos into Archmagos of various specializations. The Archmagos gains a copy of all the information that he will put in a faraday cage for later, careful study. You get that many Archmagos to join your tribe. Their loyalty is up in the year after the one year of loyal service you will demand of them but Lorgar is confident he can gain their loyalty.

[] Offer to elevate the Archmagos's selected people into Sorcerers.

– As it says, make the Archmagos lvl 5 Sorcerors and he will provide a basic workshop that can produce technology. This is basic tech of an Interstellar civilization.

[] Write in:

--Write in what you are offering and what you want in return.

LORGAR UNLOCK:
Hear Prayers
So long as someone is sincerely praying to any god, real or imagined, near Lorgar, he can roll Mental + Awareness against the difficulty of the opponent's willpower. He gains the following effects depending on the number of successes rolled.

SuxParticular
1The general effect for which they are praying, i.e "Hope my daughter lives."
2The reason for why they desire the effect.
3The background on why they desire the effect along with their Archetype and relevant Intimacy if any.
4Information about the character. This is presented as a Character sheet complete with all their Intimacies.
5Complete information about the character, this gives the equivalent of -3 difficulty to all social rolls due to the complete knowledge about the character.

If such streamline rituals practiced by Admech more and more will there be any effect on Warp? I mean those rituals dedicated to omnissiah will it to Empower it further or will it influence who hold current Mantle of Omnissah according to admech?

You know, I wonder how the Emperor and othe Primarchs will view Lorgar, cause on one hand, dude is religious, on the other hand his prayers are literally capable of granting miracles without warp use.

underlined some questions i got

also gender is kind of irrelevant but is Milhand a man or woman?

--[X] both parties have to share resources when we do have an expedition and any discoveries are shared, with certain info like Enuncia and other things that would be dangerous in the wrong hands only being shared between Fan, Lorgar and Milhand. STCs will go to the Ad mech for safe keeping but Fan and Logar have the right to study them as well as a . any item will be shared 60/40 (Ad Mech/Tribe) with the tribe priority for things necessary for survival (after the ad mech make sure it isn't corrupted and such)
I liked your plan until we got to this part, we are working towards the goal of restoring the world to its Daot state which means we need that technology, the 'mine mine mine' Mechanicus getting all or most of the tech finds goes against that, insist on full copies of all STCs/knowledge and data found to shared between us and them at least

so sharing of STCs/Knowledge discovered correct? should i keep the part where info/tech that's dangerous only being known to Fan, Lorgar and Milhand? and who keeps the dangerous tech, cause i assume the Ad Mech will be there to protect it

edit
Edited the wording a bit

The omnissiah is an odd one out in that it has already "claimed" it. Meaning all prayers and stuff go to him automatically, thus preventing a machine god from forming in the warp as there technically already is one. Weather that is the Emperor or someone/thing else is up for debate.
--[X] (@Yzarc can we assume that logar may teach some of our tribe this or no? or at less those interested in technology)
Lorgar can teach the admech rituals but more on the limitations if it gets chosen.

Also Lorgar does not want to learn Enuncia as it will cause him to explode. There was a reason why that Thousand Son and Space Wolf Marines respectively learned it but both Magnus, Russ and even the Emperor and Malcador did not, the latter two going as far as stamping it out when the people tried to build the Tower of Bable.
--[X] (can we assume that they will teach the tribe , Fan or Lorgar some things on their one initative, or do we have to spend an action to have them tutor us)
Only Enuncia is restricted. You can teach everything else.
--[X] (Also Can we take this multiple times for more Archmagos?)
No. One time deal.
--[X] (Also Can we take this multiple times for more workshops?)
Same. One time deal.

-[X] Write in: when we got time, maybe have some join expeditions into the Wound to recover lost STCs and other technologies/knowledge.
--[X] both parties have to share resources when we do have an expedition and any discovered STCs and other forms of knowledge/technology will be shared with the caveat that certain info like Enuncia and other things that would be dangerous in the wrong hands only being shared between Fan, Lorgar and Milhand. any item will be shared 60/40 (Ad Mech/Tribe) with the tribe priority for things necessary for survival (after the ad mech make sure it isn't corrupted and such)
WHy would they agree to this? I do not see what is in it for them?

He is already getting all of what he wanted. So why would he accept this?

Is Lorgar aware of Machine God due to his deep understanding of rites?
Not sure what you mean. Is he aware of the Machine God? No.

Is he aware of the people prayering to the machine god? Yes.

A god is not the sum of the prayers. Especially such a small sample size. It would be like describing the Emperor by looking at this toe nail clipping under a microscope.

That said, the Machine god is a special case so this does not apply.
