Turn 6: Alchemical Transformations
Colchis - 831.M30

The hours passed quickly, each one blending into the next as you and your companions worked tirelessly in the makeshift lab. It was a space filled with ancient texts, alchemical apparatus, and arcane tools. The air was thick with the scent of herbs and the crackle of magical energy. Every corner of the lab was a testament to your efforts and determination to defeat the Shard of Winters.

The centerpiece of your work was a large slab of Orichalcum, its surface meticulously engraved with intricate runes and symbols designed to trap and contain the power of the Enuncia words. You stood over it, your Mind-Hands weaving through the air, tracing patterns of light and energy that danced like flames in the dimly lit room.

Lorgar was beside you, his face a mask of concentration as he channeled his power into the Orichalcum. Dharok and Thalassa were close by, their presence a constant reminder of what was at stake. Thalassa's ascension was crucial, and the Enuncia words, Syaan and Keth, would be the key to unlocking her true potential.

"We're ready," you said, breaking the silence. "It's time to begin the ritual."

With a deep breath, you raised your hands, and the room fell into an expectant hush. You began to chant, your voice resonating with the ancient power of the Enuncia. The words flowed from your lips like liquid fire, each syllable imbued with a raw, primal energy that pulsed through the room.

"Syaan," you intoned, the word hanging in the air like a shimmering jewel. The Orichalcum slab glowed with a soft, golden light, its surface rippling as if in response to your command. The word resisted, its power wild and untamed, but you held firm, your Mind-Hands weaving intricate patterns to coax it into the metal.

"Bind," you whispered, your voice steady and unwavering. The runes on the Orichalcum flared to life, their light merging with the energy of Syaan. Slowly, almost reluctantly, the word began to sink into the metal, its power contained and amplified by the ancient material.

As the last echoes of Syaan faded, you turned your attention to the second word. "Keth," you called, the sound reverberating through the lab. This word was different, darker, its energy sharp and cutting like a blade. You felt its resistance, its desire to remain free and unbound.

But you were relentless. Your Mind-Hands danced faster, weaving a net of light and energy that surrounded Keth, guiding it toward the Orichalcum. The runes glowed brighter, their light intertwining with the dark energy of the word. Slowly, inexorably, Keth was drawn into the metal, its power trapped alongside Syaan.

The Orichalcum slab now pulsed with a powerful, almost living energy. The words Syaan and Keth were bound within it, their power ready to be harnessed for Thalassa's ascension. You stepped back, sweat trickling down your brow, your heart pounding with the effort of the ritual.

"It's done," you said, your voice a mix of relief and exhaustion. "We've trapped the Enuncia words."

Lorgar nodded, his face reflecting a similar weariness. "Now we can use their power to ascend Thalassa."

Dharok stepped forward, his gaze fixed on the glowing Orichalcum. "Are you sure it will work? Ascending her as a Demigoddess is a monumental task."

"It will work," Thalassa said, her voice filled with quiet determination. "It has to. We don't have any other choice."

You gathered around the Orichalcum slab, your minds already turning to the next step. Thalassa's ascension was a delicate process, one that required precision and control. The power of Syaan and Keth would be the catalyst, their energies unlocking her true potential and transforming her into a Demigoddess of the Forge.

"We need to prepare the ritual space," you said, your mind racing with possibilities. "The energy from the Enuncia words will be volatile. We have to ensure that Thalassa can channel it safely."

Lorgar nodded. "We'll need to create a protective circle, one that can contain and direct the energy. The runes on the Orichalcum will help, but we'll need additional wards and sigils."

With careful precision, you and Lorgar began inscribing additional wards and sigils around the Orichalcum slab. Each symbol was meticulously crafted, designed to focus and contain the immense power you were about to unleash. Dharok and Thalassa watched, their faces set with determination.

Once the protective circle was complete, you placed the three key reagents at the center: the two Enuncia words preserved in Orichalcum and the STC fragment. These would be the catalysts for Thalassa's transformation, their combined power unlocking her true potential.

The next step was the moonsilver tank. A large, cylindrical vessel filled with the shimmering, quicksilver-like substance sat nearby, its surface reflecting the dim light of the lab. This was where Thalassa would undergo the initial phase of her transformation.

"Thalassa," you said, turning to her. "It's time. Submerge yourself in the tank."

Without hesitation, Thalassa stepped forward. She climbed into the tank, the moonsilver closing over her like a liquid embrace. As she sank into the shimmering depths, you could see her resolve etched into her features. This was her destiny, and she was ready to embrace it.

With Thalassa fully submerged, you began to chant the Enuncia words. "Syaan," you intoned, your voice resonating with the ancient power. The runes on the Orichalcum slab flared to life, their golden light mingling with the dark energy of the Enuncia.

As the words left your lips, the moonsilver in the tank began to react. It swirled around Thalassa, its liquid tendrils weaving through her body, stripping her down to her base components. Flesh and bone dissolved, merging with the moonsilver, leaving only her brain and spine intact.

"Keth," you continued, the second word slicing through the air like a blade. The moonsilver's reaction intensified, its energy focusing on Thalassa's remaining parts. Her brain and spine floated in the shimmering liquid, ready for the next phase.

With Thalassa reduced to her most essential elements, you moved to the Orichalcum slab. Using the remaining Orichalcum, you carefully crafted a new skeletal system. Each bone was meticulously formed, imbued with the runes and symbols needed to channel the Enuncia's power.

Once the skeleton was complete, you placed it into the tank. The moonsilver reacted instantly, merging with the Orichalcum to form a new, resilient body for Thalassa. Her brain and spine integrated seamlessly with the new skeleton, the moonsilver acting as a conduit for the transformation.

As Thalassa's new form took shape within the tank, you knew that her physical transformation was only the beginning. To fully ascend her to the status of a demigoddess, she would need more than just a new body, she would need a powerful machine spirit to empower her.

Working tirelessly, you and your companions forged a specially prepared machine spirit. This spirit was unlike any other, designed to not only merge with Thalassa but also to enhance her abilities and grant her the wisdom of the ancients.

As the machine spirit took form, you could feel its power resonating with Thalassa's newly forming body. It was to be a symbiotic relationship, each complementing the other in a perfect union. The machine spirit would provide Thalassa with the spiritual strength and soul strength she needed, while Thalassa would give the machine spirit a physical form through which to interact with the world.

With the machine spirit completed, you carefully introduced it to Thalassa's new body. The moment they made contact, a surge of energy passed between them, binding them together in an unbreakable bond.

With Thalassa's new body formed, it was time to activate the final phase of the ritual. You placed the three key reagents, the two Enuncia words preserved in Orichalcum and the STC fragment, around the tank. Their combined power would catalyze Thalassa's ascension, unlocking her true potential.

Standing at the edge of the tank, you began to chant once more. "Syaan. Keth." The words echoed through the lab, their power resonating with the runes and sigils surrounding the ritual space. The Orichalcum slab glowed with a brilliant light, its energy flowing into the tank.

The Enuncia words resonated with her new body, their power merging with the moonsilver to form a cohesive whole. Slowly, Thalassa's new form began to emerge from the tank, her body glowing with an inner light.

Then the STC fragment flared to life, its ancient knowledge cascading into Thalassa's consciousness, she felt a profound awakening. It was as if a veil had been lifted from her mind, revealing the intricate beauty and complexity of the universe in all its glory. The wisdom of the ancients flowed through her, filling every fiber of her being with a deep understanding of design, innovation, and the intricate workings of machinery.

With each passing moment, Thalassa felt herself becoming one with the Machine God. The STC fragment was a key, unlocking a vast repository of knowledge. She could see the world in a new light, every machine, every device, every cog and gear a testament to the grand design of the Omnissiah.

As the Enuncia words resonated within her, she felt a profound connection to the different aspects of the Machine God. "Omnissiah," she whispered, feeling a surge of creativity and inspiration. Her mind was flooded with ideas, designs, and blueprints, each one more intricate and perfect than the last. She could see the patterns in the fabric of reality, the underlying principles that governed the universe itself.

"Deus Mechanicus," she intoned, feeling her body shift and change. Her form became modular, capable of adapting and evolving to suit any situation. She could feel the power of versatility and adaptation coursing through her veins, making her a true master of machinery. She understood now that change was not to be feared, but embraced, for it was through change that progress was made.

"Motive Force," she declared, sensing the flow of time bend and twist around her. She became attuned to the ebb and flow of the temporal currents, able to manipulate time itself to her will. She understood the importance of timing, of knowing when to act and when to wait, and she knew that this power would serve her well in the trials ahead.

As the moonsilver merged with the orichalcum skeleton, reshaping and enhancing her form, Thalassa felt a surge of power unlike anything she had ever experienced. Her body glowed with an inner light, the physical manifestation of her newfound divinity. Slowly, she emerged from the tank, reborn as a demigoddess of the Machine God, her body made of Moonsilver and orichalcum.

Demigoddess of the Machine God.
Character sheet updated. She can have only (5 + Mythos) Mythos powers in slot 1, (5 + Mythos) Mutations/Gifts in Slot 2. Though you can freely swap them out by taking a 6 hour rest. Same for Her Primary and secondary specializations.

You will need to purchase Mythos powers and Mutations/Gifts to unlock them, but Archeotech implants are free as she can shape them with Moonsilver and just needs to design them.

Please note that Gifts/Mythos powers/Mutations, MUST match her Primary or secondary specialization or they cannot be equipped.

She CANNOT learn CMA of any kind due to her Modular/Machine nature.

Finally, she, unlike Lorgar and Dharok, can respire Essence even in the underworld, IF She equips the Infinite Prana Reactor.

CHOICE:
She has time to design one Archeotech implant that uses Essence or interacts with Essence. Choose 1 of the Archeotech listed in the Character sheet to upgrade it into an artifact, other than the Infinite Prana Reactor.

LUCKY:
You rolled 76 with all the bells and whisels.

That Gift you purchased, literally saved you from not having to deal with any consequences. That +1 Sux saved you all a HELL of a lot of headaches. So good choice on that purchase. It came really in handy.

Welp, I guess you can add 'made being comparable to a primarch from base principles' to the list Cholcisian bullshit. :)

Glad Iron Resolve paid for itself like that, I knew it would come in handy, but I did not expect it to be so soon.

Holy shit we're about to cause a big revaluation to the mechanius like they already see the emperor as the machine god but now we made one that's actually connected to the machine god

She is not up to primarch standards. Think Celestial to Solars.

That said, same for the iron resolve. I had some fun complications that you dodged for both Dharok and her. Still keeping it in reserve for the future.

-[X] Stunt: More than merely enhancing the mind this implant allows Thalessa to think faster than the speed of light, allowing her a degree of precognition that is not dependent on the Warp
