Earth Bet: House of the Sun (Cultist Simulator/Worm)

[X] Ensure Continuation: Mankind is a fragile thing, a group prone to failure and death. Yet that doesn't mean they should be wiped out. Remold them, change them until their beating hearts can withstand anything.

[X] Diplomacy: Talking to folks, smoothing over issues and making sure that everybody gets what they want.

LET US REMAKE MANKIND, AND THE WORLD WITH IT!
(And convince them to go along with it.)

Is it possible to have dual responsibilities? I think we'd be able to manage both Diplomacy and Piety as that's practically what our main job is already.

Now that is a Master I can work with. Never gonna leave her.

[X] Protect the World: There are things that burn the world, it's a slow burn but eventually this world will be caught up in that flame. An apocalypse is unacceptable and so the skin of the world must be hardened.

[X] Diplomacy: Talking to folks, smoothing over issues and making sure that everybody gets what they want.

Protect the World because that is so Heart and so Worm(the setting, not the things) at the same time.

Diplomacy because Emir needs to follow his heritage.

[X] Intrigue: Keeping an ear to the ground and ensuring that toes aren't stepped on, parahuman or otherwise.

Also what is the church of the unconquered Sun? And what is the Injunction?
The Church of the Unconquered Sun is basically a metaphor for the Catholic Church in Cultist Simulator. They worshiped the Sun-in-Splendour who was the original Lantern hour and a metaphor for the Christian god. Until the Intercalate (which may be a metaphor for the protestant reformation), in which the Sun-in-Splendour was destroyed and fragmented into multiple different hours, who we now call the gods-from-Light.

Well, at least that's a common interpretation, we don't know the exact details as these things tend to be vague in cultist simulator, and we don't know how the QM interpreted it. As for the Injunction, my guess would be that it is the name for when the Shards arrived on Earth Bet.

So where do we go from here, anyway? Is Longhood on the table at some point, or, dare I suggest it, Namehood? We have crazy amounts of Health, might we want to look into exercise and/or Forge Lore?

I'd like to be better informed on the specialties of our fellow inner circles cultists are, just so we can make an informed decision when it comes to applying Emir's talents where it's most needed. @Witherbrine26

Also what is the church of the unconquered Sun?
A church that worships Sun-in-Splendour and his Names. After the death of Sun-in-Splendour, the church was weakened. They do not recognize any Hour except those who were the Names of Sun-in-Splendour and Wolf Divided, considering them inferior forces that are most often evil. They do not have a common control center and varies greatly depending on the region.

I sincerely do not understand how Jesus, who was the Name of the mother of Ants, fits in here and whether the presence of the church of the Unconquered Sun means that knowledge about the existence of Hour is more widespread than just vague hints in occult texts.
And what is the Injunction?
I'm not sure what that means, but maybe they mean the Edicts that the Hour issues.

[X] Learning: Writing manuscripts and learning of the Lores, keeping the library well stocked and full of information.

...Diplomacy? Realy?

So while the others have things they lean towards (Charlotte being Diplo) I'll fiddle with some stuff so that your option makes sense. (If you pick Diplo Charlotte will be Intrigue for example) This is still part of character creation and as such the point is what do you the players want.

If the Sisterhood of the Knot could protect the world with a couple of yearly rituals, then we can likely do just better than just that. I don't care if hubris strikes me down.

After all is it not the nature of Heart to never ever stop beating?

You know, kinda forgot this thread existed for a bit but reading it now, I actually kinda liked that Michael died, I mean, who has ever won CS in their first run right, no, cultist is about trying, failing, and then trying again now more knowledge than before, so our first character dying is actually really in tune with CS.

Anyway, here is my vote:

We shall continue, even if we much change to do it.

[X] Piety: Ensuring the rites and rituals are well kept and supplies are stocked.

We are the priest after all.

We are a little better at diplomacy, but I think piety is more interesting and we're not bad at it.

Expeditions are the key to power.

[x] Explore the Changes: Everything has been thrown into chaos since the Injunction, that means there is so much more to see. What is new must be scouted and written down so that it can be used.

I would choose this if we were Forge cult, alas, no.

@Witherbrine26 in the sidestory, could we have the Donovan's character sheet and contacts? I just noticed that they are missing from there.
