During the Fourth Blight, the Grey Wardensretreated to Wycome as Antiva was being overrun by darkspawn. As Wycome was too weak to fend off a darkspawn assault, the Wardens worked on a plan to evacuate its population. Taking inspiration from the Dalish aravels, Warden Isseyacame up with designs for aerial aravels, cobbled from fishing boats and wagon wheels, and powered by both magic and griffons. Hundreds of people from Wycome were successfully brought to Starkhaven, which had opened its doors to refugees. Floating aravels were later used to evacuate Kirkwall as well.

@Theravis Please tell me they left some lying around?
No? The Griffons all died out centuries ago.

@EliudFS1 just saying, Loghain's looking for a Squire and he's probably going to ride past that monastery soonish. I mean, you can probably blame it on his boorish peasant manners.

Didn't Divine What's her face get all snippy when Duncan pulled Alistar out of Templar training in canon? Not that some Orlesian getting rump flustered will slow Loghain down, and Eamon has his own beef with the Chantry, but it's something to keep in mind.

He was about to make his final vows after spending years of their super secret training/addiction program. But you are correct, Loghain doesn't particularly care.

Oh! @Wade Garrett the proper term of address for Ferelden royalty is Your Majesty. Nobody in Ferelden is properly addressed "Your Grace", that's an Orleisian thing.
