I've always suspected that in all fantasy settings half-dwarves exist but they either look like dwarves or humans.

I'm saying in the event that neither one of them can get a bun in the oven you fake the pregnancy, then sneak a generously offered baby in on the blessed day and wham bam you've got an heir and I will one day take what is mine. Mine do you understand? Are you saying use the blanket and warming pan to fake a pregnancy then use a surgically modified half-elf baby as a fake heir? Because that syntax is very ambiguous and the other alternatives involve infanticide.
That's because their dwarven mothers eat them, or they eat their human mothers.
Elvishness is recessive: You cannot tell a half-elf from a human.
As a matter of fact
Allister is a half-elf. His mother is Grand Enchanter Fiona
I see. Makes sense.I'm saying in the event that neither one of them can get a bun in the oven you fake the pregnancy, then sneak a generously offered baby in on the blessed day and wham bam you've got an heir and I will one day take what is mine. Mine do you understand?

Trufax.
What? Then who were those people we visited in Deneirim? Dick move, Maric. Dick move, building your bastard's whole life on a lie and you didn't even give him cool fake relatives! *Maelys Targaryen rings the hand bell of shame repeatedly*
As an infant, Alistair is presented to King Maric by his mother, the elven mage Fiona. As an elf, a mage and a Grey Warden, Fiona is unable to raise Alistair and asks Maric to see Alistair raised away from court and ignorant of his elf-blooded heritage. Duncan vows to watch over Alistair and to bring news to Maric of Alistair's life.
Maric's promise to Fiona is fulfilled and Alistair is raised in Redcliffe by Arl Eamon, believing himself to be the bastard son of King Maric and a human serving maid, and half-brother to Goldanna.
Or possibly because Dwarven birthrates are shit as it is and adding "politically frowned on","biologically semi-compatible", and "considered deviant" to "generally infertile" does not make good chances.I'm saying in the event that neither one of them can get a bun in the oven you fake the pregnancy, then sneak a generously offered baby in on the blessed day and wham bam you've got an heir and I will one day take what is mine. I prefer my version.Or possibly because Dwarven birthrates are shit as it is and adding "politically frowned on","biologically semi-compatible", and "considered deviant" to "generally infertile" does not make good chances.
And we're keeping it that way!
You've done well.
So, so confused.
In Loghain's defense, it's more to spite Eamon's wife than out of any rational decision to act on OOC knowledge.
Loghain is effectively William Wallace who teamed up with Maric's Robert the Bruce to lead a rebellion against a 50 year occupation of Ferelden. He was present for most of Cailan's life as his father's best friend/hand of the king/person doing the administration whilst Maric made speeches and went on adventures. So whilst he has a fondness for Cailan, he doesn't exactly think he's very competent considering he keeps prattling on about Glory and Legends. Which in turn keeps Cailan looking for glory so he'll finally show everyone he's just as good as his father.
So it's a major actions for me to hire the rose mercenaries? Or since they're coming to me can they just pick it up conviently. Also is it an action per point or an action per transaction?
per transaction, and you would spend an action to hire them.So it's a major actions for me to hire the rose mercenaries? Or since they're coming to me can they just pick it up conviently. Also is it an action per point or an action per transaction?

House De chalons it is. Will need to do some research since I'm not as familiar with Orlais. To the wiki!
@kızıl sultan For your manpower, are you counting the 6.5 million for your pop or 1.5? If 6.5...you're technically counting my troops among yours.
No? In your case it's .5% of the total Orlesian population. We should talk.
Nope, I'm using my 1.5 for my numbers. Just like having the total in there for the fluff.
But it is.
@Theravis were magepower percentages added to the threadmarked pop list?
Are you familiar with the setting?
Which ones did you play? Not anymore. I need to refresh. It's been months/year since I last played and DA. T__T
