Actually we can probably investigate them and maybe even sorta hire them on ideas for project like sorta a superhuman kid program for gifted kids with powers or intelligence
...Depending how we set that up and how the timelines line-up, that means that P & F could *share a class with Syndrome and/or Shego (really, any of the Go siblings)*.
...inb4 Shego takes up the spot Vanessa would have as Phineas´ love interest....
Will they even exist in this timeline? A lack of a certain megacorp in the local area and without Doofs shenanigans and butterflies (since he played a direct role in Linda's life and very prominent role in the history of the Tristate Area) they might not come to exist.
Pretty sure Doof had no part in Lawrence or Linda conceiving kids and then later marrying each other - so P & F (and especially Candace, since she´s the oldest) should be save from getting butterflied away.
I'd be more comfortable making friends with him at a distance to be honest, even Orlando has a few states as a buffer. I know distance doesn't help that much but it helps a little.
I understand the urge for NYC and collecting hero units early, but why go after Glomgold's company? Sure, he's an evil miser but he's just a capitalist who probably won't try and purposefully destroy the world as his end goal. ENCOM is right there, I don't want to give it or its inevitable chess program a moment to breathe. We should smother the MCP in the crib, and then direct it to more wholesome ends, like saving superheroes, and our bottom line.
And what do we get out of Calisota that isn't not putting down the MCP, and being closer to Negaduck and the Fearsome Five than anyone wants to be? I picked ENCOM because the internet is where the moneys at.

Uh.
That could be a smart idea.
If the internet becomes the success that it originally was.
Who knows, maybe it flops so hard that only a few people in the world (Government) use it.
But still, maybe the MCP has already been programmed in secret. We stopped Doom, thus already shaking the timeline, so it could be possible.
We should go for Danville because there's a certain platypus going to be there one day and since were on the side of good we can be best friends with that platypus his name starts with a P.

Let's not chase the old, we're an entirely separate man. Danville means nothing to us personally, it was only important to the madman from the timeline-which-will-never-be-again.
I feel like it's better to get some allies first and try to knock out one king before we see what we can do. And plus Danville is home to the Murphy family which has the probability field we could possibly study and use it against bill to stop the apocalypse.
I feel like going into magic early might bring some trouble that we would have a hard time dealing with plus we might attract unwanted attention by some not so friendly magic users.

Edit it's Good to have a Back up vote [X]Plan I make This Look Good
I don't think mangawriter would be so cruel as to have "look into this whole magic thing" be a countdown to "Oh you fucken up now Cedric is coming for you." It'll probably fine outside of maybe a nat1.

[X] Plan: The Most Magical Place on Earth
-[X] Orlando: A former military city that's starting to hit its stride in tourism and entertainment now that the Armed Forces are moving out. (+5 to Martial actions, goes away Summer 1989. +5 to actions concerning the entertainment industry, can be increased. ???)
-[X] 21 century Mage Doof: Magic is real! And 2020 Doof was a competent sorcerer! Eeeeeeeee! You've always wanted to be a wizard! Get dressed in the modern look for mages of all sorts, with a black trench coat, purple shirt, black pants, and pointy, black, "old man" shoes. Practical for everyday use and useful for some extreme situations, but it may attract magical attention before you can learn much about magic.

[X]Plan I make This Look Good
-[X] New York City: City of mystery and history, no city is more American than NYC. (+5 to Occult and Stewardship actions. ??? ???)
-[X] Agent Heinz: the MiB-style suit and shades given to you by your employers. You're required to wear it on missions and in the office by law, but you gotta admit, this is a good look for you. Maybe make it permanent? Get a classy appearance and serious demeanor, but suffer the fact that people are instantly wary of you.

-[X] Danville: The place Future Doof had called home and set up his own company. (+5 to all actions done in Danville. ???)
-[X] Classic Doofenshmirtz: the classic look your future counterpart was known for! It includes classy black shoes and shirt, dark green pants, and a lab coat that always got him mistaken for a pharmacist. It's a bit copycat, but if it worked for him, maybe it's worth a shot?

The government managed to put in a good word with Edna Mode, who gave you quite the green and purple getup! No cape, though. Apparently she's sworn those off after one too many mishaps. Guys, I would really rather not see us go the Occult route. I don't like the aesthetic, and would rather not set up in Orlando. Personal preference, I know. That being said, is there any way I could convince those who voted for the Gold or City of Angels options to change their votes to Make This Look Good?
Magic would be an interesting niche for our company to settle in. Not openly I think, the masquerade even now is a bit too tough for us. But having magic be one of our metaphorical secret sauces would be great, nobody will be able to match our proprietary special effects and CGI when it's straight up magical.

I still think going for Glomgold is a mistake, he really isn't that high up the priority list for me when ENCOM is right there, existing menacingly. Smother the MCP in its crib and that's one major problem we could solve right here right now. Would you rather leave it alone to grow unchecked? Taking Over The City Of Angel's and The Most Magical Place On Earth are the plans to back Imo.

Keep in mind, if we get Encom, we perhaps get the GRID, Tron, and various other Tron characters. The internet gets up and running. We have a cyberspace realm we can use, and agents in the inside. And later down the line, we can get access to places like arcade games. Wreck-it Ralph for example. And we can aide the government in tracking down trouble, like magical stuff in New York, or the Robot hat madness from Meet the Robinsons in Florida, etc.
