[X] Curl up into a ball and go to sleep.
Your father
might punish you if he comes back and finds Azura sleeping next to you, but you're honestly not sure how you're supposed to get her to leave. There's a distinct possibility he would try to hurt Azura, but she's a magical girl and has already admitted she won't accept disciplining. Even if your father does try to hurt her, you don't think it'll go well for him.
You carefully move onto your side, draw your knees up toward your chin, and go to sleep.
When you wake up, you're back in your bedroom. Given as you aren't still in the basement, you're guessing Azura left before your father returned.
Almost the entirety of your body is beginning to turn strange colors, but you aren't particularly worried; all the marks will be gone in a week or so. You'll just need to wear concealing clothing in the meantime.
...Or you would, if you were actually allowed to go outside anymore. Since you failed the latest event capable of taking you out of the house, you're not sure you'll get another chance for several weeks.
You have a stuffy nose and can feel something clogging your throat, but it's nothing major. Given the right treatment, you should be better within a few hours. Cold symptoms after being punished are nothing new.
What
is new is the fact that it's currently 11:13 AM and neither of your parents have arrived to wake you up. Normally, you would've been both awakened and disciplined for not showing up on time. You hurriedly get out of bed and start getting dressed, doing your best to ignore the pain from your various injuries.
You slow when you spot a note taped to your dresser. It's in your father's handwriting.
Aria,
You get a pass today on account of unusual events. An offer for a scholarship to a local private school showed up in the mail from an "Azure Mining Corporation." Bianca and I looked into it and they seem to have a habit of giving them out for little discernible reason. You didn't really do anything to earn it, but you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.
If you don't feel like you can keep honing your voice while attending, forget about it. Your singing career is more important.
Love,
Dad
...Azure Mining Corporation? Azura? You seriously doubt the naming scheme is a coincidence.
[] Decline. You're not sure you'll be able to handle whatever Azura has in mind, not if you want to keep improving your singing and avoid angering your parents.
[] Accept. Since you're now banned from leaving the house on Sundays, some other way of leaving the house would be nice. Your period of freedom may not have lasted for very long, but you miss it already.
-[] Follow your parent's instructions and avoid speaking to strangers while attending.
-[] Try to speak with other people, but be sure to warn them not to swear or say other inappropriate things around you. So long as they aren't a corrupting influence, maybe it'll be alright?
