You can get 325 peasant spirit stone from that. However a defensive amulet would be worse than your armor, and they don't stack.

As such, Jiang Chen and Riyadh now gain free access to one Technique up to Soldier Copper realm from the Technique Pavilion.
Meanwhile, Hawk Cyr gains EITHER a Technique up to Soldier Silver grade or the ability to request that I, Elder Huò Jiézuò, hold a lecture on The Balance of Heaven and Earth.
(OOC: your starting manuals reach too highly for the ease of acquisition and it's a pain trying to balance the reward)

Is that the highest grade the reward can reach, period, or is that like our starting techs where we can raise the cap with hard work?
This Jiang Chen humbly requests a Metal aligned Cultivation Technique, to further his progress along the path, Honoured Elder of the Technique Pavilion.
You could, if the technique has a higher grade, buy it or figure it out yourself. That is the maximum grade you are getting for free, however, simply because I am not paying you with a better manual than you are donating.

@Arcanestomper I am not going to have time to keep up with this quest, so I will let Bai Kouta retire to be a regular outer disciple and you can pop someone off the waitlist. In case you keep track of the stats of retired characters somewhere else and want the record straight in case he ever comes back, he upgraded body when tempering his eyes. Thanks for running this quest, it is pretty novel and seems like a lot of work.

Just as a note. From what I told Shadow people had assumed the prices on things or maybe the merit system itself would change soon. They are not, that was specifically advice for him who's getting a reward for helping me so Daiki won't need to buy elixirs (hopefully)

Assuming that the Extra Natural Treasure is also Clay, what do you guys want to do with it? @wrecksalot @digital2
We could sell it for 7 Spirit Stones and split those 3-2-2 (I'm fine being one of the 2s), which is the simplest solution, or we could pool all the rewards together and math out a distribution based on value and on whether some of us care more about one type than the other (possible split: 4 Corpses = 80 | 2 Corpses + 5 Treasures = 77 | 3 Corpses + 2 Treasures = 75).
It's possible that whatever technique comes with a success on the Tempered Stomach roll will impact the relative values for me, since it might revolve around consumption of such things, in which case I might come up with a different split. We should find out soon, anyway. And if any of you guys have a preference, let me know.
