Yes, I know how Rodin works but normally for a Mark 2 to be made there has to be a Mark 1, and Colossus was a demon, not a creation from Rodin....

Also it makes more sense his stuff can be handled by humans since it's insulated. I mean, Gemini was asking for a weapon and I don't think normal humans can handle Devil Arms, I have seen what happens when they try.
Unlike Devil Arms, which are crystallized Souls of Powerful demons, and thus can control humans if they don't have enough willpower to resist, Rodin insulates the demon inside one of his creations, cutting it off and turning it into a battery for his masterpieces, which makes it safer to use.....Although I am not sure if there aren't any drawbacks about a Human being exposed to a source of demonic energy so closely and regularly...

I just realise something, where is the rival? this is a Devil May Cry Crossover maybe Bayonetta too and both of those games have Rivals, its like the Style, there needs to be one by the laws of everything that is cool

Now the question would be when he/she appears and who would it be ( i doubt its gonna be an OC, even if i have no problem with that)

And for people who say there is no need for a rival

I would say Strix is currently filling a roll kinda like Nelo Angelo in DMC 1. Because if Nelo Angelo didn't qualify as a rival, then no one did in that game.

Yes I know NA was actually Vergil, but he wasn't in control so it doesn't count as Vergil in my books.

Wait, he is still alive? i though he died, well then its him, he actually has all the requirements, Style, beat the shit out of the protagonist, been a mayor antagonist and Taylor now has a grudge with him so yeah he works

Well, we didn't see his corpse, so by narative rules he is therefore still alive. And thats ignoring my theory that he is actually the weapon and puppeting someone elses body.
 
I think he is an infestant or something like that, it is shown that he is Body is just a vessel and the real demon its inside, puppetering the body
 
Ohh, so many updates, well, after rereading the fic, to read the fic, I must say, you're doing an amazing job with this fic. I really want to see the fallout of the Fallen summoning a big ol demon in the middle of a city though. Should be... interesting.

Also... I wonder if Bayonetta was ever in Lustrum's area during that time. The idea of her and Annette having been together briefly amuses me.

Still, Taylor is going to get a fucking shock when she sees her. Because Bayonetta is soooo much like Annette... ...except for the curves, at least.
 
I honestly think Bayonetta would be best served as a mere cameo for this fic.

Rodin's already strong enough to pitch in if the heroes need help. Let's keep the focus on the new Earth Bet devil hunters.

The author already confirmed that Bayonetta will only serve as a cameo in this fic; thankfully, we have loads of DMC characters who may appear, so it's not as though we're not spoiled for choice.

Madison did trigger, and in fact, became part of a Cluster. I can also say one of her clustermates is the blonde kid she was next to. The cluster have four people including her.

Demons can't stop someone from Triggering.

Taylor's Devil Arms are the only ones getting info sheets. Weapons for other characters will not receive one.

He's still alive. Wrecked to hell and back and in desperate need of a new meat suit, but alive. Shame, that. I actually debated killing him off early, but then I realized I needed a proper demon rival for Taylor. One she can kill with her own two hands in the most satisfying way, of course.

Interesting story so far, never seen a Worm x Devil May Cry fanfic before and the two fuse surprisingly well. Also it seems that Anne Barnes is a cape and lesbian here. Didn't expect that since very few fanfics portray her. Also, where was Boss during the attack on the colossus?
