Devil Trigger (Devil May Cry/Worm AU)

Wait you killed MP!? You friggin' bastard!

Anyways I don't remember correctly but ain't Europe have a highly different approach in parahumans? I mean the PRT has a much weaker hold there and by extension the Capenatii has a weaker hold, so chances are their roster get's killed repeatedly and I secretly wish that Jack got some delibirating injuries to carry around.

Also a guess but S9 don't have Bonesaw?

Yes you are buddy. The guy is a magnificent bastard-slash-badass .

... Which brings me to the sudden idea @SkyRig that if some idiot/s open up a big enough portal to the Underworld a certain two brothers might walk out of it...

Also tbh I am distracted too of Bayonetta... especially that damn sexy voice of hers.
Europe will be explored at a later date, since I do plan on having Taylor go there at some point regarding her demon slaying ventures. To answer the question regarding the S9, Europe was where they found their new friend.

You thought they were bad in Worm?

Dante and Vergil will be mentioned in some capacity, just not the way you expect.

If it's post DMC 5 - I half expect them to still be slapping each other round somewhere in the depths of hell.

Uhh... Considering they aren't dead - it's either not a demon, or a highly intelligent one. Now I'll have to run through a list of characters that would fit =Т

I see, I only have to be patient then...

Also @Qro I don't know if I remembered correctly but around page 12 I think the author implied that the friend may be an Earth Bet local.

*Shrugs*
I honestly don't know what to expect, so I'm just covering my bases. Just in case. We already have Antares and Parian has a Tinker friend.

Yeah tbh I am really curious who this Tinker friend of hers tbh, all I know is that they are skilled enough to make a visor that can detect ongoing crimes and there are many methods of detecting such occurence so the speciality of the Tinker is still blurry to me.

I am not sure if I remembered correctly but I think the bossman had said that the Thinker that Parian knows is a canon one and my first thought of who is the mystery parahuman being Masamune was already shat down.

So, I'm working on both Adapt and Pendulum's Fifth Swing, and this is a little unrelated, but I said this in the Wormverse idea thread, so I might as well bring it up here.

I feel the need to write a My Hero x Worm crossover in which Class 1-A finds themselves in Brockton Bay, if only just because I want to see who can piss off the other more: Bakugou or Glory Girl.

Oh god, that's a shitstorm just waiting to happen. DO IT. (throw in a Palpatine voice I guess idfk)

I have yet to see an actual good My Hero x Worm fic. Which is surprising because both settings are about Superheroes.

The difference between the two is that one is depressing and the other is optimistic. Although for My Hero it's debatable with all the recent manga chapters.

Plus the culture shock will be jarring for class 1-A. Especially with how f#*ked up Brockton Bay can be sometimes...... or Earth-Bet in general I guess.

True, but sometimes, all it takes is a few good people to change things up.

Though it will be a hell of a transition for Class 1-A, considering the differences between Quirks and Capes. Case in point being Overhaul. If he were a parahuman, the Manton Effect would prevent him from affecting a type of matter. He could disassemble or reassemble organic or inorganic matter, not both.

On another note, I could see Class 1-A and New Wave getting along some, since the public identities of heroes are well-known to the populace.

If I do decide to do this project, I'm going to have to give it some serious thought. No half-assing it or writing it as I go.

I've read two, they're called Slouching Towards Nirvana and MHA: Day of the Titan. The first is about post-Golden Morning Taylor adjusting to not having the entire universe out to get her, and the second is about MHA vs. a Ward style Titan and the heroes having to deal with losing badly when everything is on the line. They're vastly different in style and tone so if one doesn't appeal the other might.

There's a third one that came out recently that's also really good, but I forget the name ATM.

That... could be entertaining. Though their world building is so different that I'm not sure it could ever work properly.
At the same time I low-key want to see a proper Spider-Man crossover (they all die within a few chapters somehow) or to try and write a cross with Taylor being Aida's apprentice somehow.

holy fucking shit, just found this and i like.

and the fact that Gladly of all people is being useful, thats a nice change

I do plan on having Taylor go there at some point regarding her demon slaying ventures.

You make it sound like she's going on a road trip to slay demons around the world. Which would be awesome and hilarious.

Speaking of demon slaying, will the Temen-Ni-Gru tower make an appearance? Or are you going to make a reference about it being a "mysterious" tower that makes archeologists scratch their heads.

There's also one thats a fusion of both worlds. Guest starring Bakuda and Bakugo.

Interesting so far. And I do not think I have ever seen Ward Glory Girl before, so, props on that. Looking forward to more.
That was the decision of my co-writer, actually. When he pitched the idea, I was like, "Who the hell is Antares? Is she in Worm?" My friend, utter bastard that he is, neglected to tell me it was Victoria Dallon in the sequel.

I still like the decision, especially with some of the ripples we're making.

It should be noted that Gladly DID try to help Taylor at one point. While he deserves all the flak he gets for not helping Taylor in any way when she rejects his help outright, some of the fault also lies with Taylor herself. Not that you can blame her, since almost everyone in Winslow would rather join in on the bullying than risk picking a fight with the Alpha Bitch Trio.

I ran the idea of Gladly, and on the minor end of things Greg, being the "silver bullets" needed for Danny to make a convincing argument against Winslow through my co-writer, and he actually agreed, saying how there were very little fanfics that used Gladly in a positive way.

Oh yeah, Taylor's going international at some point, but that won't be until things have started to settle down in Brockton Bay and life goes back to normal. Or as normal as you can get in that shithole.

Temen-ni-gru will not make an appearance in this story, though Rodin will make a reference to it when the subject of Vergil is brought up.

ADAPT. It's called Adapt.

Spelling is very important.
Welp, he didn't deny it. No wonder he Implied that BB is gonna be a pile of rubble when Leviathan comes knocking. Knowing Taylor's shit luck it'll be right after she blows up that HellGate. I can see it, her standing victorious, only for a strangely shaped Piece of Rubble to Stab her through the chest. Most likely Tony's big ass Broad Sword that got tossed in the distance, only to get stuck in the Endbringers Armor.
