Deep Red (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

Maybe I'm just callous, but I've never seen what the problem is with fucking the beard on the side? Akane probably should have kids at some point.
"Sorry we rarely have sex" is perfectly fine. Historically, lots of husbands barely had sex with their wives, lots of marriages were purely political and loveless business relationships, with sex as an occasional obligation for an heir.
Akane has all the power here, if this guy is dissatisfied he can go round up some mistresses.

Like, once Akane slaughters Ozai and takes the throne, if this guy finds out she's sleeping with Mitsuko and doesn't particularly want to boink him more than necessary... what's he going to do? Whine about it? Spreading that information really wouldn't benefit him, and he'd be a consort without much power.
Or maybe I'm missing something, eh.

Friend, you are missing something. We're gay, as in 100% rainbows everywhere Gee Aaay Why. We don't want to sleep with him ever. Our disdain for him isn't because we dislike him as a person, it's because we aren't attracted to him in the slightest and engaging in those sorts of activities with him would be about as enjoyable to us as fornicating with a rusty spoon.

Edit: The closest we're probably going to get with him involves using a turkey baster and then kicking him out.

Two lesbians are more enticing to players than two lesbians and a guy. :V

And that too, I suppose but some did, not just because of their sexuality but in much worse conditions and still did it out of obligation and duty even if they absolutely hated it.

Not saying that Akane should do it but I can see it happen if it ever does which I doubt.

You guys are talking about last night's live before I even posted the story here lol! For the people who haven't seen it yet, here's what happened in last night's live.
Yeah, thanks for posting, that was a little confusing.
It references sources from all four nations, all dating back to before the war. And you've never heard of any of them, even the ones from the Fire Nation.
[X] Conquer Ba-Sing-Se if theres a book in that backwater continent then its in the city.
Take that lewdness over to QQ, not my christian forum /sarcasm
Mods incoming! Everybody Run!

Very interesting chapter with a lot of points to consider. Like how I noticed that in the lovey-dovey sauna scene they didn't check for eavesdroppers and what not. While perhaps that it was simply implied that they were certain that they couldn't be overheard given that Akane called Mitsuko in it seems a bit fishy to me.

Also kosm, you forgot the threadmark

Yo. Unless @kosm plans on moving this to Unlisted Fiction, keep that sort of talk out of this thread.

Actually, scratch that, the people involved are underaged. In that case, unless @kosm plans on moving this to QQ, keep that sort of talk out of this thread.

Threadmark added, thanks for pointing out that was missing!

And yes, please refrain from sexual discussion here. Not to be rude or anything, but yeah. ^_^'

It's interesting that the Tanaka heir seemed to think it wise to spend his entire first meeting with the Crown Princess attempting to throw her off balance, between boundary-pushing flirtation to which the famously prim and proper Akane would almost certainly be unaccustomed, to his approach to the spar dispensing with the expected polite warmup and immediately going for an unconventional closing attack.

Deliberately choosing to do the unexpected at every turn like that reads as a very high-risk, high-reward strategy... which isn't at all what I'd expect from a scion of a recently-elevated merchant family whose parents just landed him a betrothal to the next Fire Lord. Why is he taking any risks at all here? He would seem to have everything to lose and nothing to gain.

Maybe he's trying to sabotage the betrothal as well? :p

I feel protective of our girl. While Tanaka seems decent enough, he still might become a problem. It will take more time to discern what kind of person he is and whether he will fit in our girl's plans.

Anyway I like the fact that he does the unexpected but does he really need to spar topless?

My interpretation is this: The guy's seventeen, and clearly not a cold fish. If his family wants him to marry us, then he won't be satisfied unless he can prove to himself that he can win us over personally. To that end he does something that, from his point of view, may look quite reasonable: Push boundaries in an effort to stand out from the courtly decorum Akane is accustomed to.

It's too bad that a) Akane is gay and b) she'd probably be more interested in exceedingly subtle moves than exceedingly blunt ones.

I may have missed it, but was there any confirmation that Akane was gay and not bi?

Ah Kos, some say Kosm, another update for another week, woohoo! Reluctant gayness contrasted by Akane dealing with an annoying flirtatious person, amazing indeed. Keep up the great work and have a nice day!
