Personally I enjoyed the analyzing people did on the potential abilities the critters had. Plus knowing @AnimalKrazed like I do, he is looking forward to this coming back as well. To horrify is with his extensive animal knowledge.
 
After a brief week-long progress halt in which i couldn't export any images, I've finally managed to work out how to do it! I can now use the drawing program that i downloaded for creating my art, which means the quest has no more hold-ups.

Here are examples of what you can look forward to in terms of art quality:


These were small practice images that i've created so far whilst getting used to the brushes, so that i know for certain that i can deliver high quality images quickly and efficiently - Now that i can definitely get the images to you in a few clicks and they're at a high level, I feel confident that i can provide you the images at a steady and non-taxing rate.

The quest is just about ready for continuation. :D

It might be helpful to not post the full size stuff when you're back to updating.
On the other hand. What a beautiful and high fidelity arrow.
 
Quick question @matthew badger. Are there any females of our species? The purpose of all life is to continue on the species. We need backup and we need to make sure our race doesn't go extinct.
 
Just a thought, would it be possible for us to become a hive mind or am I in the wrong thread for this?

I'm imagining Primal Zerg here, then when we reach a certain, arbitrary point, we start budding like a Worm Shard and little wormlings get shot out like Sin Spawn to continue the cycle anew. The way we keep the gene pool stable is because we take on DNA of shit we eat.
 
Okay everyone, this is the last post i'll make before i continue this quest.

Is everyone okay with this artstyle?


It's taken me 7+ days with 4+ hours of work on each, but i can now draw a full and satisfactory image on the tablet in a way that can be repeated. Is this satisfactory for everyone as an artstyle, or would you rather i refine it further? (It's less detailed than what i could achieve physically on paper, but it's the best i can do on such short notice and with such little practice on the tablet)

Should enough people say yes, i'll officially continue the quest tomorrow night.
 
That picture is absolutely amazing.

I cannot wait to see what our own little creature turns out to look like by the end of all this.
