[X] Explore

[X] Equip the Black Knight Shield

You equipped the Black Knight Shield and decide that you should ring Blighttown's Bell.

But, before you went on with your quest, you also decided to scout ahead.

Moving-up the cliff-walkway revealed more cliffs and stairs, guarded by armed Hollows.

Since you were already here, you might else try taking them; they didn't look so tough.

...It took you seven tried to succeed!

Somehow, despite your highly fire resistance gear, you were always surprised by that fire-bomb chucking hollow, that was further up the stairs! That, or you kept falling off the edge from swinging too hard or something of another!

Chosen Undead: "...I hate your fucking dices."

Anyways, you freed up the path towards the aqueducts, which should lead you to the Undead Burg.

You should now...

[ ] Continue - Eh, Oscar can keep on waiting.
[ ] Move On - Forget about that Oscar, time to go solo!
[ ] Party - Go and get Oscar and head into the Undead Burg.

Or do you want to keep exploring near the Firelink Shrine?

[ ] Explore - First, let's go somewhere more exciting.
-[ ] Ruins - That looks like a church?
-[ ] Stairway - Leads down somewhere?
-[ ] Cliff Walkway - Leads to a cliff somewhere?

Or do you have some other thing in mind?

Fukken... There are two cliff walkways, dammit!

I meant the other one. I should have soecified, but I forgot that the path up to the undead burg also counts as a cliff walkway.

That'll teach me to read shit more carefully.

[X] Party - Go and get Oscar and head into the Undead Burg.

And here I thought you guys were going to skip-out on Anastacia.

[X] Party - Go and get Oscar and head into the Undead Burg... Or not.

Instead of going into the aqueducts, you went back to Firelink Shrine and partnered-up with Oscar once again. But you weren't ready to go the Undead Burg just yet. You decided to head down the stairs that were nearby the Chainmail Man.

At the very end, there was another room with a elevation-mechanism that would lead somewhere; however, it did not seem to be functioning at the moment.

Otherwise, you had also come across a woman sitting behind bars.

Neither you nor Oscar was able to rouse an answer from her. She simply remained quiet.

You went back and questioned the Chainmail Man about the imprisoned-woman.

Chainmail Man: "Oh, so you've seen that terribly morose-lass, have you now? ...The Fire Keeper, she's been stuck keeping that bonfire lit, far longer than before I was here... And that is quite a long time, I assure you. Tragic, really."

Oscar: "Does she not speak?"

Chainmail Man: "Not a word. Probably had her tongue cut out before being bounded to this forsaken place."

Oscar: "I see..."

Chainmail Man: "Well then, move along; don't you two have bells to ring?"

[ ] Undead Burg - Nothing else to do here...
[ ] Ruins - The last piece of exploring?

Interesting.

That means the only way to get to blighttown is via the parish, unless the door near ol' horny is mysteriously unlocked.

Edit: or if we can get past the door near Havel the Cock.
The door down there going to the Valley is locked, anyways.

And so is Havel's... Unless we take a detour to the Butterfly.

Not having a Master Key sucks.

True, gamewise, we can only get to the depths via the parish.

This is a quest, not a videogame, so the doors need not be arbitrary roadblocks.

They are also mostly made of wood.

And we happen to have a VERY big and VERY sharp sword...

A Wandering Soul: Are you trying to say that we don't have the budget to make the doors invincible? I can neither confirm or deny that.

You still decided that it just wasn't time to ring the Bells yet and went back to exploring.

The ruins up ahead was the last available choice. Going into the ruins proper, it seemed to have once been a chapel of some sort. The floor submerged in ankle-deep water; in the center you noticed the pattern of the brick was different, as if it was a trap-door of some sort... Looking up to your left, you spotted the Giant Crow that had brought you here, preening its feathers. Below the bird, there was a doorway that had collapsed; it doesn't look like you'll be able to go through there anytime soon.

Afterwards, you checked around the ruined chapel and encountered a fellow wearing a rather wide-set equipment.

?????: "Oh my, what do we have here..." He looked at you, "What charred-armor!" Then towards Oscar, "And a honorable Knight Of Astora! Ah, forgive my manners, I am Petrus of Thorolund. Do you two have business with me?"

By the way, to the right, was a similar lift-contraption to the one you had found earlier but this one was also non-functioning.

[ ] Yes
-[ ] What sort of business would that be...?

[ ] Nope - You gotta go. There's nothing to do here, time to head to the Undead Burg!

[ ] Not really - What does the Chainmail Man have to say about this fellow?
