I only went along with the plan because I thought this quest ran on more crack than it evidently is, thus it would have stood a far greater chance of working.
Now all we have to show for it is two dead bros and a possibly insulted spider-lady.
He made sure a certain ring was secured tightly on his finger. Nobody but he understood the situation...
By the oath of his Covenant, this time, he would surely collect their Humanity.
@Shintouyu could you please spell out any further 'punishment' conditions you have waiting in the wings?
We have fallen foul of 'no divided votes in combat situations', and the 'No overly crack votes?', and I would prefer it if no-one else has to die before we learn whatever else it is you punish voters for.

I will not, since this will be a learning experience for you players. In other words, Dark Souls' 'Tried And True' method.
To clarify though...
1. It's not like you can't have division in combat situations; it's that you actually need a winning-vote (aka "No ties or draws").
2. You can have crack-votes but it's not a good idea for character-interaction but especially character-recruitment.
I forgot to say... There's nothing more that I can really type besides, "You went to the Worm Mound, now what?", so it'd probably be a better idea to make vote on actually dealing with Quelaag & Kirk.

We are still putting that pyromancy flame in our mouth, though. That's happening.

Returning to the Worm-like Mound (henceforth known as Quelaag's Domain), you tried to bait the Thorn Knight into the webbed-tunnel for a duel. Except you couldn't see him standing around, so that prickly-bastard was likely hiding somewhere and waiting for an opportune moment to strike. You considered shouting something offensive but you didn't know what buttons to push since you've never befriended Kirk before...
Welp, that part of the plan was a complete an utter bust.
Looks like you'll just have to deal with Quelaag and Kirk at the same time.
How hard could it be? 16 tries by your count.
It wasn't simple since Kirk kept jumping back into the middle of the fight even after you had killed him. Quite annoying it was. But eventually he stopped respawning and his corpse was melted down to nothing by Quelaag's lava-spewing spider.
It was easy enough to deal with Quelaag by herself.
You got Soul Of Quelaag!
There was nothing you could do for poor Oscar and Laurentius. Their bodies were already likely burnt to ashes as a precaution against Hollows. There was nothing left to say that they even existed.
You delved deeper into the ruins of the chapel.
There you rung the first of the Bell Of Awakening.
Just one more to go.
