You really don't see how "girl with a penis" would relate to trans issues ?
Most of what I know about trans is that some people feel like "women trapped in a man's body" and vice versa.
Apparently it's more complicated than that, but I never really bothered to find out.
Pre-op trans girls are in fact girls with a dick. That's not too hard to understand right? Now, most realistic porn of girls with dick is in fact exploited trans girls and very fetishistic and misrepresentative of what transness mean. Still simple yes?
If artists want to draw girls with dick without any link to trans issues, it's their problem, but when we see it in a non hentai media, we're going to worry.
Yeah, this is pretty much a case of me just
not caring. I don't put politics in my games because my games tend to be relatively uncomplicated with social issues (or I miss them entirely if a fandom's up about that I guess).
Okay, being a lesbian means being attracted to people of the same gender.
Trans women are women. Do the fucking math.
I continue to be confused. Googling gets me "A trans woman is a woman who was assigned male at birth."
To my understanding, this is someone who
seemed like a man, but is actually a woman (or wants to be a woman, I dunno, apparently it can get comlicated).
I mean, if they're pre-operation, they still look like male, generally? Which should take them out from the futa umbrella since they don't look like chicks with dicks. IF they're post-operation, then there's no dick anymore, which just makes it lesbians.
The idea is that since futas don't actually exist in our reality, fictional futas should be treated as stand-ins for trans individuals. Thus fetishization of futas is actually fetishization of transwomen, which given the assumed bad faith mentioned above, makes it look like CDPR is being really shitty.
It's... rather strange logic from the perspective of people whose knowledge of futa came from eastern media like anime rather than western outlooks, since anime communities draw pretty hard lines between futas, transgender people, rule 63ed people, and "traps" (mods please pardon my usage), to the point where people still argue about whether certain western artists whose names you'd undoubtedly recognize are actually drawing futas at all.
Yeah, my view is pretty much in line with that, so all this connecting trans to futas just seems bizarre to me.
It just doesn't
click. I don't see a connection at all.
...The modding community is still probably going to stick dicks on a bunch of characters though.
I'd call them weirdos, but I know I've favorited skeevier pictures from similarly skeevy artists.
