Covered In Blood And Surrounded By Spirits (Hellsing CK2 Organization Quest)

that seems likely, the only things that seem to be able to kill Alucard are gods, legendary heroes and one offs
Or teleporting him into the sun - his main trick is that you have to kill him once for every person he's ever consumed, so being immolated in solar plasma would burn through even his multinational soul stockpile in a couple of minutes at most, as he suffers sufficient burn injuries to kill a human once every few milliseconds.

Likewise, you could just drop a nuke on him, then carpet-bomb the blast zone with thermite charges and napalm to soften him up for the FOOF finisher.

Actually, this quest seems to have done pretty well in pointing out that, for all the hype, Alucard's far from immortal or invincible: to be blunt, Millennium probably could have wrecked his shit if they'd just drawn Alucard out to a remote location, burninated him as outlined above, then done a victory lap of London to celebrate and receive the glorious deaths they'd been looking for all this time. It's just that the Major went full Ahab and convinced himself that Alucard was too magical and spooshal to be killed by mundane weaponry, which is honestly rather sad.

Having an enemy with a bunch of extra lives just means doing whatever it takes to keep him pinned down and then hosing him with weapons that inflict a fuckton of DPS to burn them off.

depending on the exact mechanics of the whole resurrection thing it's entirely possible a nuke would only count as one. Possibly so would being trapped in an incinerator for days if he doesn't burn a life to revive until it's safe to do so.

there is also the question of how durable he is aside from his resurrection trick. We don't know if his normal healing factor empties his tank and he can heal things that don't outright kill him fairly quickly.

Also, he can teleport and turn intangible. Not across open water, which is why he's stuck on the Eagle until he manages to shove the thing ashore, but that's why it was chosen to slow him down.

[X] Yanagawa

On the bright side, with the appearance of the Bodhisattva, its much less likely that Denbe is actually involved with Millennium here.

So we're leaving behind one of our party members to go mano-a-mano with the scary dude in our way? This is the shonenest fucking thing. You watch, next we'll ditch Walter and Miyako so that only the mainest of characters can face the final boss.

Don't forget we still have the Bone Mecha to activate, naturally Akuma would want to be the one piloting it.

Sorry to disappoint daughter, but I think we're better off using her monstrous strength on ground rather than in a giant robot. We got her a Noble Phantasm and everything.

... Although if we for some reason need her to hold back, I suppose she can switch to robot punching things.

Well then who would be best suited to using the thing if we aren't going to use Akuma?

But everyone knows Highschoolers make the best Giant Robot Pilots!
Miyako's the wrong kind of high schooler, though. She's the mysterious transfer student with supernatural powers, not the ordinary schmuck who falls into the cockpit and discovers they're a genius at it. We could maybe tap her buddy with the bokken later, but for now I think our best bet is to hand it over to some competent generic and treat the GODDAMN BONE MECHA as a character in its own right.

Eeeh, supernatural giant robots don't have as good a track record though *Cough*NGE*Cough*...ahem. Sorry. Carry on.
Nonsense, the Evas worked perfectly well when taken to the SRW universe.

You're right, of course, but you do realize this is the perfect opportunity to get an Ordinary Highschooler to fall into the cockpit after our chosen pilot gets his ass kicked trying to save them and their family, right? We probably won't get another chance to deploy the Big Skull in a populated area anytime soon, unless things go really wrong back in Japan.

Which makes her the super-elite pilot who's the ordinary guys rival that he's always trying to catch up to.
You do realize that the fact she's a girl and the rival means she will likely be among the romantic interests of the Pilot Main Character, right?
Neither Akuma nor Miyako are getting anywhere close to the Bone Robot, or any giant robot at all, for that reason alone, lest Renko have to threaten a potential suitor with her Laser Hand.

And I didn't even mention Nagare in that sentence. I pity the poor schmuck who has to meet our daughters' parents.
Any suitor of Akuma or Miyako can probably handle meeting her parents, given that they've gotten that far with an earthshaking destroyer or a purified death ninja in the first place.

Parents are always terrifying to meet, especially when one heads a monster hunting agency with a Iron Fist that also shoots Sun Lasers and the other is an actual goddess.

Update is underway, but it will probably have to wait for tomorrow, because I'm busy. Not the point of this message, but I thought I'd give you all an update on that regardless.

@Night_stalker, @Logos what is this meow rating? Because I looked around the Staff announcements page and saw nothing of it, but I can't use it, so i have no idea what it is or who can use it. Curious minds wish to know.

Also, please everyone else, don't turn it into a derail to discuss the new rating. I very much do not want.

Finally caught back up with this quest, after my vacation left me a huge backlog of quests to read. Predictably, everything is on fire. Ah Hellsing, you never fail to please.
