And Everyone Was Kung Fu Fighting - Kung Fu Cult Dynasty Quest

ou're still wrong. Force adds brute strength too, it right inside what I quoted, not just item hardening. We can also wrap our fists and punch people with indestructible silksteel.
And you keep adding meaning that isn't there. Yes, brute strength, with inanimate objects. The style description says so and there is nothing in the quote box that says 'brute strength without objects'. I'll admit that using fistwrap is a good idea however.
You also avoided the fact that have two different styles is a smart move.
Where on earth I ever suggest having less style?

Two points in both Sublime Force Style and Fairy Sleeve Style... Yeah, as you guessed this combos to being able to throw the darts of hell out of nowhere. Sublime Force also fits in well with your two main styles(Sword and Dragon) as it basically ensures you aren't going to be losing a strength match any time soon unless the other guy is an Oni or something.

Sigh. Yes, it is usable with Dragon. I said so already. I translate that as SF can be used for either against objects or for doing stuff like kicking super ball or something. Because if it means SF can be used to add power with bare hand that contradicts the style description.

Enough with this. @Happerry Sorry for keep tagging you but can you confirm things with this too.

Have you considered adding more Bad Things?

It should be fun, and it gives us extra points.

I mean, honestly, who doesn't like extra problems?
One more could work, depend on which.

Sublime Force does let you amplify your own strength. Actually, the material reinforcement was invented because early practitioners kept breaking their own weapons by swinging them too hard.

The 'not on biological stuff' wasn't meant to mean you can't use it to reinforce your own power, it was meant to mean 'no, you can't tap the guy and make his skeleton explode out from his other side'. Might have been more clear if I'd said foreign biological stuff... Though picking up a branch and using it to parry a sword is still ok so that's still not utterly accurate.

Basically I guess the best way to put it is that you can't use it on the other guy directly, you need something to carry that force, but that something can definitely be your own fist if you've the need.

Anyway, most users prefer to do it with tools anyway, because 'I swung too hard and broke my sword' is less critical then 'I swung too hard and broke my hand and upper arm'. Using intermediaries to transfer the force means that, usually speaking, if you mess up on the self reinforcement the intermediary breaks, not your bones. And no one likes accidentally breaking their own bones. It kinda hurts, you know?

Hmm, one more maybe. Lemme think which
By the gunsmoke? I don't really like the flavor but it seems to be the best one that isn't too debilitating. Spend the bonus point on stuffs that's more likely to get us gunpowder/foreign allies and it become sort of advantage. Fit with the exotic knowledge theme.

Or meddling magisttrate maybe.

Alright. Thank you for the confirmation.

So now that we've clarified that Tyrant's Blade gives us skill with swords, Sublime Force lets us punch things really really hard, Thousand Slayer lets us kill lots of things (so long as we stay on the offense, and if we have to go defensive we pick up a blade), and Imperial Dragon lets us breathe fire... further questions?

Why not a style at 4?

Thinking of the Cartel due to the good rep. Bandit smashing does that.

Well, it's more troublesome that those two but It's doable. What do you think of using the bonus point for? Something like minion upgrade could be useful since we would need manpower if we have to combat crime organization and police surrounding. Maybe Tame Nobles too? That's why we can try to have our crime-fighting activities be made legitimate and supported by the government. Also allow working together with gov forces.

Edit: Style... Ever Thirsting Void maybe? Shinra Tensei + Bansho Ten'in + Senjutsu.

-no offense but I don't think its very smart to play as a female in a very patriarchal society like China.

The Faceless Void could be a fun supplement to Veekie's plan. Would make for a nice "Calm before the storm" moment if we literally vanish, and the raw power of Monsoon would make it a lot stronger as a Sneak Attack.

Also man why can't I find it I have the perfect picture in mind for one of the characters and where is it why didn't I save it arghbarble.

Edit : Shadow's says 'Name: Li Zhen (female)' verses '[X] Wu Tien' so I dunno if Wu Tien is meant to be a girl or not but Shadow's specifically calls his build out as being a female character.

Wu Tien is a female name yes. Forgot to specify

Cartel gives 4 cult points and 4 style points, which can buy 2 points of hideouts(so we can operate without risking the home base) and 2 points of tame nobles(so we get more official cover for fighting crime). Style wise I'm debating between the following sets:

-Shadow Typhoon 4, doesn't add directly to the Oncoming Monsoon, but with Cauldron of Creation and Kaleidoscope of Eternity it gives a subtle combat method.
-Raging Furnace 2 + Glacial Messiah 2, balance of Yin and Yang power and adds two Ki reactors, which when combined with Oncoming Monsoon means even bigger blasts. And when we want SOME subtlety we can touch people to burn/freeze them from inside.
-Fairy Sleeve 4, similar to Shadow Typhoon, it adds a subtle option for formal occasions.

Thoughts?

... It would be really fun if Fairy Sleeve could be combined with Oncoming Monsoon to throw whirlwinds out of our sleeves. I know it doesn't, and I know we probably can't develop it, but it would be cool. Of course, since we have to deal with nobles and was named after a politiician, Fairy Sleeves does fit.

I would prefer Faceless Cosmos to Shadow Typhoon, as the lack of defense doesn't matter much when combined with the overwhelming force of Monsoon, but having a stealthy option would be a good idea.

I don't think we need additional Ki generators, and if we want subtle attacks we have other methods.

Alright, tentatively added Cartel, Fairy Sleeves 4, Hideouts 2, and Tame Noble 2. Will adjust if serious objections crop up.

Now we can hurl whirlwinds out of our sleeves while drinking tea and not spilling a drop.
