And Everyone Was Kung Fu Fighting - Kung Fu Cult Dynasty Quest

I like 3.

Face is essentially reputation, you get more respect amongst martial artists and they hesitate to oppose you if they are lower than you, but of course, it also draws more heat from those trying to make or preserve a reputation

For 3 think what I really like is that the 'oni tell' is that we've got freaking blood red eyes and that we look like we'd mostly be at home in the court...that is until stuff goes to hell and we seem a bit too happy for a fight.

I like 2, 3, and 7 the most.

Wait, is 1 he top or the bottom? Cause I was working under the assumption that q was the top one, but I figured I should ask.

Would names from Wuxia novels be ok or do you want them fully original?
They'd be perfectly ok with me. Still probably more accurate then the Engrish Names Internet Fu would probably result in.

What exactly would an Oni-blooded person look like? I'm trying to find a picture that could fit for us, but I'd like to know whether we have horns, or heavily pigmented skin, or look completely normal, or whatever.
'Yes'. More usefully, I was envisioning mainly just that it resulted in her being tall, but depending on the images provided, well, good images are worth a bit of mental editing.

Currently leaning towards using either Three or Five out of the list you provided for her, and probably will end up stealing Seven for someone else.

Any info on them besides the stuff in the ally listing?
Nothing super concrete, mainly because as mentioned I haven't written up their character sheets yet. (For reference, the ones that were in the winning plan are the Childhood Friend (F), Ritual Attendant (F), Exiled Adviser (M), Sage of the Forbidden (M), Itinerant Miko (F), and the Lone Survivor (M).)

Also if she'd been in the winning vote this would have been the Rogue Assassin.

Uh, I think you mean 15
I deny everything.

This.

Also, funny story on your Chi rating... It's a good thing for you all that I decided to reroll until I got something higher then 10 to fit your prodigy backstory status before I started rolling for that, because it took me five rolls to get something above ten, including the paired natural ones on the fourth 2d10 roll. For some reason the dice really wanted you to suck at martial arts.

Ouch, when the style is so dependent on chi, the double 1s would have hurt

For names, a random bunch:
Childhood Friend (F) - Xiao Xue
Ritual Attendant (F) - Fei Xin
Exiled Adviser (M) - Jin Jian
Sage of the Forbidden (M) - Master Zhang

Drawing a blank on the Miko(foreign right?) and Lone Survivor(what styles?)

I like picture 3. Also fits best with our fairy sleeve mastery.
As I think about it more, the more I feel that Picture 5 might do better for one of your ancestors. ^_^

So unless someone comes up with something a lot better, it'll probably be picture 3.

Thankies! And yes, Miko is from Fantasy Japan (And has had a long series of missadventures she really wishes she could have missed out on to end up here.), and as for the Lone Survivor, for some reason I think he might be a sword expert. ;)

If no one has a better Miko name, I'll probably end up just going with Kagome. And no, she's not a time traveler. :p

Anyway, in terms of Backstory, I'll be filling it in when I wake up, it being 4AM right now.

Having two sets is better!

Also of course I can get the names out faster. Native speaker.:p

Forgot to add the relic he brought out/saved from his sect's destruction, so added that. Enjoy the shiny sword.

So a swordsman? Think I found one it's the guy on the left.

So he just needs one more dot on Tyrant Sword to be the swordiest guy who ever sworded.
Not precisely, even if he's trying!
While you can't start with these ratings, five and six are senior master and grandmastership, respectively, and anything above that is getting into the realm of 'legendary hero capable of impossible feats like punching a mountain in half'.
But four points aren't perfection. They're just the end of the beginning.
The Lone Survivor may have more Face than us, but at least our face is prettier!

You ain't out bishie'ing this gal!
Also all your face is from stuff you've actually done, not from what weapon you're carrying around. Subtract the relic blade fame bonus and he has less then you.
