Only the French really liked Versailles.

Once it becomes a world war Germany is fucked. With a bit more luck and better leadership WW1 was perfectly winnable for Imperial Germany up until around 1917, the odds in a perspective round 2 are nowhere near as even.

germany even then could have easily won and in fact WHERE winning but simply surrendered thinking they would get a good treaty, not to mention not expecting their treaty with defeated russia to be completely undone, never surrender unconditionally if you have huge advantages and your enemy wants to BREAK you utterly..... hell never surrender unconditionally EVER even with a gun to your head.

By 1918 the German army had run out of food, was running out of bullets and manpower, and had expended everything in one last offensive to break the Allied powers. They failed, and when the Hundred Days offensive began, German lines collapsed.

Pre 1917 yes they were winning. Problem is they swapped imperial Russia for the USA as an enemy while their population was starving, their infrastructure was starting to fall apart and the improved blockade meant they were rapidly running out of raw materials as well. It doesn't help that by autumn 1918 all their allies had already collapsed and their navy had mutinied and the civilian population was in open revolt in some areas.

The point of view your post endorses was popularized by a very unpleasant group that the character of this quest is specifically fighting against.
 
This business aside, are we going to vote on the flags or are you going to select one on your authorial vision of what makes the most sense, The Karvoka Man? Will there be an impact from apparent symbolic favoritism of one choice or another? This is exciting stuff to me! No one I know generally cares much for flags, sadly.

Author fiat, mostly. I don't trust you lot ot pick something that makes sense. If you want to flood the thread with your favourite german flag designs, feel free.

I don't think France is going to let the Versailles treaty go easily. And besides I think ww2 was going to happen because of it.
 
We could indefinetly freeze payments due to a sluggish economy. You know...Hitler did help in killing that shit treaty. After WW2 the allies decided to nullify the treaty's compensation part.

New compensation was mandated and it was actually paid..at 2012.

You see, if we flip the Swastika around, we'll be seen as the opposite of the Nazis!

Thus we should plaster this reverse-swastika everywhere.

No that's just a Nazi standing in front of a mirror. What we really need is a white swastika on a black background then surround it by whatever the opposite of red is :V
 
So, what are we looking at, here? A major local uprising or an outright national level putsch-tier brownshirt turkey shoot?
 
While we're in fantasy land talking about imaginary conquests and annexations beyond the scope of the LP, why not war with Italy to claim its German-tending portions in the very northeast, a land once ruled by Austria? The formation of the Rome-Berlin Axis required that that all be settled by essentially having those Germans living there being deported to the Third Reich or Italianized, but if we don't pair up with Italy that's probably not bound to happen.

Of course, if we're not bros with Italy that means that they are very insistent on Austria's independence under Italian influence, which makes it much harder to start that ball rolling. Italy's army is actually something pretty nasty compared to what Germany has to offer at the present, too.

Germany in 1933 doesn't have an army, it has one hundred thousand men of which it can post one or two each at every street leading out of the country so that they can hand out "Welcome to Deutschland" cards to just about fucking anyone who comes to visit.
