Aww. Okay, one last try.

People of the interwebz, listen to my text, instead of reading it! How many quests can you point to and say "That quest protagonist is a master-class wizard, or witch, or magical girl"? I can count six off the top of my head! How many quest protagonists can you point to and say "That person is pretty much a member of the Fae"? I haven't encountered any.

Think of it like this; when addressing a member of the Fair Folk, you say things like "Dear" or "Fair" lady, instead of "My" lady. Do you know why? Because saying "My lady" is claiming the Fae as your lady; i.e your liege lady, and now she rules you because you slipped up on some words. The bracelet will let us do things like that, because it turns every single sentence people utter into a potential weapon.

We'll only have to roll to use it if we just out-and-out ask somebody to make an oath, but people make oaths for nonsensical reasons all the time! How many times have you heard "I swear" or "I promise" or "So help me god" in the average person's speech? With the bracelet, we'll be able to hold people to that!

Get a bunch of people drunk in a bar and have them swear something as a game? Hold them to it. A muttered curse because somebody just slighted them? Hold them to it. Somebody lying to get what they want from us? Hold them to it.

tl;dr People swear oaths all the time. We can weaponize an incredibly common part of the average person's speech-patterns. And this works on anybody. Peasants, Wizards, Kings, Heroes; it's not something that you can oppose, because you entered into it "willingly". And you're going to give that up for a fancy book full of special effects.

And invalidated. Dangit.

No, it doesn't. Binding Oaths is not "they are held to anything they say in my presences or within hearing," it doesn't make you a fae. I am curious why you aren't choosing the ring if you want to manipulate people. What makes the bracelet on par with the other artefacts is it's other function on top of it's Oath abilities (which I am surprised that no one speculated about).

I just assumed that all of it's power was going into the oath ability; You haven't really revealed any other aspects of the thing besides"Internal Dissonance", and that's incredibly vague. What the heck does that even mean? I've asked before if it amplified, manipulated, or caused it in some way, but you didn't answer.

Make of that what you will.

(I really can't give you more, because if the bracelet wins it is one of those things you need to discover IC)

We can make people's issues punch them in the face? So, instead of weaponizing people's words, we weaponize the darkness in their hearts? That's all that I'm getting from this depiction of internal dissonance... unless we can amplify them enough to completely take over a person, like somebody and their Jungian shadow forcibly switching places. Because that'd be pretty cool.

Spellbook wins.

I'm going to find a creative way to use the cheese summoning spell in every situation, even though there'll be better spells for the task. I mean, I'll find good ways to use the other spells too, it's just that I think that it'd be funny.

right I know this is wrong but it's my thoughts

magic the gathering deck card philosophies
X red attack equip cleaver
X Blue magic mind counter
X green tap to regen
Xblack white control life/link

i'd forgotten about pink red white
law and emotion bindings

You choose the path with the spellbook. Mages are powerful, and you have used spells (and sometimes nothing else) in all your battles so far, so a spellbook would serve you well. Not mention, it would be good to know more then two spells. After thinking about it, you enter the blue opening. From the outside, the openings to all the paths are shrouded in darkness, but once you enter the path, your surroundings change. Instead of gray stone, the floor, the curved semi-circle ceiling, and the floor are all made of softly glowing blue crystal, with marble stripes every few feet.

As you walk along the path, you notice that you can't see the exit when you look back. All you can see is the tunnel extending behind you. You also notice that everything is perfectly curved or straight. There are no imperfections or bumps, all of the marble stripes extend all the way around the path, from floor to ceiling and back again, without any leaning or shifting nor causing any cracks or issues with the crystal around it. You haven't seen anything like this before.

After walking for a few minutes, you the tunnel ends and openings up to a large chamber. In the center of the chamber is a black dragon, about fifty feet away. It has lots of sharp, tough, and thick looking scales, without any imperfections that you can see. Even its wings, which are tucked against its body, are covered in protective scales. It is about twice your height and many times your length (you aren't close enough to be sure how long it is). Its face is pointed right at you, but, luckily, it seems to have its eyes closed. Perhaps it is asleep?

You haven't yet stepped out from the tunnel and on to the marble floor, but right in front of you is three prices of text side by side. Each of the pieces of text are engraved on top of the marble floor in front of the tunnel. They are riddles, although, you have no idea why they are here.

I can fly but I have no wings.
I can cry but I have no eyes. Wherever I go, darkness follows me.
What am I?

It's more powerful than the gods.
It's more evil than a devil.
The serfs have it.
The wise need it.
If you eat it, you'll die.
What am I?

No legs have I to dance
No lungs have I to breathe
No life have I to live or die
And yet I do all three
What am I ?

As for the room itself, its ceiling is so high that you could place the tallest tree you have ever seen in here and it wouldn't be able to touch the top. The dragon can definitely flee in here. The room is square and over one hundred feet long. The floor, walls, and ceiling are all made of white marble, with glowing crystal strips surrounded by gold strips on both sides form concentric squares, shrinking as they get closer to the center of the room.

There is more then the just the riddles, and I edited the updated and switched some paragraphs. If you figure out the riddles, what do you do? Do you shout out the answers? Do you attack the dragon? Do you just try to sneak behind it or step onto the floor and wait until something happens?

[X] Look the dragon in the eyes
-[X] repeat the Riddle with the following answers at the end
-I am Rainclouds
I am nothing
I am Fire
[X] if it attacks run like hell
