So when do we start, and do we start a new thread, and with what gap in timeskip?

It actually ties up a whole lot of loose ends and gives us a nice level platform to build on.

My main question is what happens if the Targaryens are NPC, which seems to be the case.

That's why I think a new thread is in order. Allow old players to grab their former claims (I for one want to keep the Qos unless we desperately need need players.) and let new players pick up the slack.

My proposal was going to be to split them up between the various in-laws, but a dedicated Targ player seems desperately necessary.

What do you think about making a new thread?

We could include updated summaries in the OP and use a fancy new name to attract interest.
"A Song of Spice and Gunfire" or something.

A new thread is needed. I've seen these sorts of reboots done before. It will work.
 
Ideas for titles:
  • A Song of Blood and Iron
  • A Cry of Hope and Prosperity
  • A Game of Impenetrable Continuity :p
 
Also, @Ceslas might a short worldbuilding conversation be in order to save you writing up those nation descriptions and such?
