It is sad that this was the thought process of Lys during the "Let Dorne into the Freehold thing."
You killed a dragon, good job. Your ancestors killed two, wounded one and got their asses burned for it and their cultural almost obliterated. Volantis and Qohor have more right to claiming dragon deaths and all they did was kill the riders.
