A Lion's Pride (Closed Quest / ASOIAF)

Probably saving Ilyn first is most IC action, and delegating putting out the fire to other people shouldn't be that hard, right?
We brought 15 men with us, accounting for loses the choice is likely between the men we'd need to carry Ser Ilyn and the same men we'd need to put out the fire. Trying to do both likely means we fail at both.

Ah, good point. Wasn't really considering that we'd need multiple people to carry him. Was more thinking we'd just get him out of the building. Forgot he needed a maester immediately, and that we're too small to carry him ourselves.

@Mazrick How many (functional) men do we have left? How many are injured or otherwise need saving? And how many prisoners did we manage to take?
Jaime's not really in a good headspace right now, but from a quick glance: You have 6 functional men, including Jaime and Barristan. You don't know how many are injured or otherwise need saving. Looks like three prisoners were taken.

Ser Ilyn life, to put it bluntly, is much more valuable than the ones of our retinue, but putting out the fire... how would we accomplish that with no acqueducts or a river? Specially in this tinderbox that is a medieval city.

[X] Ser Ilyn saved your life. You will see him cared for before all else.

Ilyn's life is worth more then the lives of anybody else there bar Ser Barristan. The fire can wait until the Goldcloaks start to mobilize and if it gets bad we can blame it on the Brotherhood and garner support against them from the smallfolk. Going after the Smiling Knight is a fool's choice.

It would be more prudent to have a maester brought to us. Outside of the burning building, obviously.

Smallfolk will be panicking in the fire and chaos will be running rampant. Getting a Measter to us may not be possible; time wise you also have to consider moving to the Red Keep and back before Ilyn dies.

How did we roll against the Smiling Knight? Obviously not well, but I'd like to know specifically.

No rolls this go around because Smiling Knight was way out of your league. Though Ilyn passed his roll not to die.

Thank the Dice Gods! They've done their part, it's time to do ours. Forget the other fools, we look out for Lannister.

Always reward and be good to people who save your life. It encourages others to do so in the future.

Ilyn first and then the others. We've got at least a few captives, plus the location that supplies were delivered too so we have leads to follow.

Making sure Ilyn survives means we retain a loyal, capable follower. And as the option says, we're only saving him first not instead of the others, so we should still be able to save some of our men.

The Smiling Knight is a massive jackass and making sure his murder attempt fails is our duty to humanity.
