    • [X] Electric Overlook - Violet and Pineco would try to find a path through the mountains that got a good view of Electricville and the Power Plant alike.
      [X] Forest Mountains Above Route 9 - A range of forested mountains that are home to a variety of Pokemon. They are not that frequented by trainers due to the lack of powerful Pokemon.
      [X] River Exploration - A more sedate option would be to explore the river itself through a combination of a canoe, scuba gear, and other equipment.

    If I remember right, there was some discussion on going to Vermillion City first then to Saffron and taking a more western loop in order to reduce backtracking. I'd definitely say that both these Journey Paths as well as that one definitely are valid. And they'd generally provide different things overall just due to the various specialties involved.

    The Cycling Road is based on Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line, an expressway. In the games it's for cycling, and I expect it still is, but I also want to put forward the question:
    If Holly Mills was willing to drive out to deliver supplies while Violet camped, do you think she or Damon Mills would be willing to give Violet a ride to Fuschia City, or on the way back?
    It might be a matter of anxiety for Violet, but having her parents attend her Fuschia, Celadon, and/or Saffron Gym battles might also be good for the family.

    I can in fact confirm that if you have a Gym Battle in Fuchsia, Saffron, or Celadon that the Mills family will drive out for it. And are rather likely to just offer Violet a ride along the way afterwards just to spend time with her. Even if Violet would be hesitant to take it, the option is certainly there.

    On that note, time for me to close the vote. Looks like catching a Magnemite with Magnet Pull wins. And now Violet gets to experience fun times in the Rock Tunnel. Additionally, Magnemite's stat sheet is now up.

    Both of those would definitely be interesting Pokemon. And due to it Taunt Skarmory reminding me of it, you'll be able to start teaching TMs to your Pokemon after you get your second gym badge.

    Telepathic Pokemon would be interesting. Violet would be a little intimidated by it, but it opens up a good bit more exploration for the Pokemon you have.

    On that note, looks like Setting Boundaries wins. I do enjoy being able to have Magnemite be a little shit every now and then. It'll definitely spice things up. :V

    • [x] Set Boundaries - Allowing Magnemite's mischievous behavior in more productive manners will mean they remain a constant source of challenge for Violet. But also that they will be the happiest. Dratini likes this option.
      [X] Temper Magnemite - Trying to teach Magnemite how other people feel when they mess with them won't be difficult. For all their faults, Magnemite doesn't like inflicting suffering. Teaching them how to predict consequences would be fairly straightforward. Pineco likes this option.

    Alright, looks like it's a contest battle. Thankfully for me, it'll only be a single update long due to a combination of inexperience with the subject and Violet's nature not going that well with it. That being said, Dratini is very happy and does learn quite a bit from it, as does Violet and your other Pokemon.
