@Tabula Rasa If you don't mind me asking, Have you decided the reward for Isaac's Last breath Fanart?
Oh, I forgot about that. I already included it in my notes before the break. But the reasoning escaped my mind, until you brought it up.
@Arthelys fanart is the reason why I decided to:
1. Call the tool '
Mermaid's Breath' as an homage to her Paint '
Isaac's last Breath'. The water surrounding it was a perfect inspiration back then.
2. Not do any rolls in the creation of the tool this time. I liked the theme, so I went for it.
[X] But it feels so empty, without me
No need to steal from the giant squid. I'd much rather explore more rather than hunt for treasures.
As for the update, the writing was wonderful as usual and I'm looking forward to reading the story again to get familiar with it.
Thank you so much. I'm a bit rusty and I have only limited time, so I can't really polish it, but I'm trying my best. I appreciate you reading again!
I'm happy you're back!
@Tabula Rasa
Also I very much agree with BeepSmile
So -
[X] But it feels so empty, without me
Happy to have you here!
I'm glad my necromancy ritual using an apple pie worked and this story was updated.
[X] But it feels so empty, without me
Now a lot of things start to make sense!
[X] But it feels so empty, without me – While the Stone that is positioned right on its head is interesting, it is not worth angering the giant. You will leave it behind and track deeper into the Lake. There is still much more to see. This is for sure the more sensible approach. That stone could be literally anything and nothing.
Oh man, my day just got so much better glad you are back!
Glad to have you here
Happy to see this back again.
[X] Archaeologist at Heart – You don't know how you will do it, nor do you know what the stone is. Maybe it isn't even interesting or special at all. But still, you want to go for it and grab it. It is an easy thing to do really. Step 1: Swim back, Step 2: ?, Step 3: Grab the stone and run. If that is not a sensible plan, you don't know what is! (You have 14 Time Echoes banked. You can use 5 for an automatic success in this event. The Subvote below will only be count if this vote wins. No split in Main votes by usage of Time Echoes.)
- [X] Don't use Time Echoes
Gonna go with this. All adventures have a bit of excitement and danger with them. And I am curious as to what the stone actually is.
Glad that you are also back! Nice to see familiar faces around.
[X] But it feels so empty, without me
I'm really happy this has updated. Tabula is really a wonderful writer and I'm eager to discover more of this wonderful world.
Ah, this means a lot to me. Thank you so much
I am also eager to see what Jacob gets up to this time.
It's really great to see you and this quest again Tabula Rasa!
[X] But it feels so empty, without me
A zombie, rising out of its tomb ... again. And probably not for the last time I fall into a Hiatus haha Let's have fun as long as it lasts.
Wow, glad this is back. I'll need to reread everything before I vote again. Shame there's no write in for this one.
I am glad I am so good with notes, because I realized how huge the story got in the end. There is so much to explore. Glad to have your analytical mind back
Always fun to have your insights.
I love the magic of this quest, of course, but the character of Jacob is really its standout feature, he's really compelling. And it leads to really fun scenes like this:
Had me cackling.
haha honestly, just writing Jacob in character is a guarantee for funny scenes. I laugh myself often enough, so glad that I can transcribe the idea to you guys as well.
