So about the shoes, should we only use it in for exploring or in allow it to be used in duels? We thought it up due to our Need to explore so using it in duels when there isn't a need to win would feel like a waste and cheating. In official duels it there isn't a Need to win as it is morenof a Want. InLife and Death fights then there is a Need for us to stay alive.

I'm a bit confused...is this supposed to comment on Sounds plan or on the Empathy/Megan stuff?
My feeling is that Jacob, right now, is pulling back - he's keeping is first ever (major) secret from his parents! - and doing a "let's reach out to other people right now!"-plan feels super forced to me.
Taking month to come back to the castle, distract himself with research/training/following his curiosity...and then, maybe in the next month, with a better understanding on how he feels about all this stuff, that might shape future interactions with other people.
I wouldn't be surprised if the social situations would actually backfire some more (did we give Megan a present/receive one from her?). I'd rather have Jacob see if he can find out anything about his situation, or even directly speak to someone (he trusts (Flitwick?)) about it, than just muddle through with our not-really-existing social skills.

Well I'll be approval voting both of my plans. So we don't have to do the more social focused variant if we don't want to.
I'm not sure what headspace Jacob is in specifically right now, but anyone who knows him might see something as off. That or we end up doing something to damage our weak relationships while in this current headspace. Definitely needs more analysis for how he's currently feeling or might act.
I assume patronus training will possibly have a penalty as well since its so deeply intertwined with how you feel, but who knows.

Your plan learns a single spell, Expecto patronum will not succeed with only three actions. Occulemcy with a single bump to it doesn't feel like the kind of thing that would present even the smallest barrier to dumbledore if he's genuinely doing that. I suspect the DC was for him to cover and talk to Jacob.

Because we will suck on social actions this month (which includes the Riddle of Riddle and Runes Club Research), we should focus on non-social things. This is the month that we get the +1 skill to class skills, so we might want to get as many of them up to the P- level, when it no longer becomes a guaranteed thing. If we take this plan, Potions, HoM, and Herbology would also be at P-, leaving only Ancient Runes and Astronomy at D-.
Raising Intelligence since we are probably going to level up this turn. Would normally upgrade his Empathy, but I think this turn he might be a bit off this turn if Social actions this month will suck.
