Okay, Acceleration-Esper guys. If you don't convince anybody else to choose yours I'm switching over to Doofinsmirtz, because, funnily enough, that seems to be the only other vote that has a chance against Kihara at this time.

And really, why wouldn't you want what is basically Magi-tech without the magic? If it has a big self-destruct button on it, well, nothing says that our competent robotic minion can't just camouflage it when we aren't looking or something.

Competent is not what I would use to describe any of Doof's minions, who also have a self destruct(except for Norm, but he was 1. incompetent and 2. probably had one before and may still have it).

Anyway, @everyone, look at the name of this site. Now look at the acceleration option. Look at the name again. Finally, look at the accel option one more time.

More seriously, why would you want to be Doof when you can be an esper with infinitely incresing speed which increases mass which increases strength of our attacks. This means by taking acceleration, we gain the power of infinitely increasing speed and power and we could hang with the top tiers if we simply wiggle our finger long enough. Finally, look at the name of this site one more time.

Because there is already an Accelerator. I am okay with being a level 5, as long as it is something totally different from the other levels powers.

Uhm, pardon me, but since when has Accelerator's powers been constantly increasing speed with no limit other than time and whether or not you stopped to used the restroom? Accelerator merely has the title that we would rightfully deserve if we took the power. His actual power is vector control which is similar but different from acceleration.

You do realize we're going to turn any serious option into crack now right? Besides, you shouldn't disqualify an option just because it has a silly concept. A significant amount of canon characters have a rather silly concept. Touma for example has a bitching pimp hand that slaps the shit out of all things supernatural. A certain railgun is the best at electric swing. A silly character in a serious world can create a very interesting story, besides, taking over the technological capitol of the world is actually a great idea!

[X] Level 5 (#6 Aihana Etsu, a wonderful blank slate to work with)

Then I will vote for the winning one. Though @KurobaraIto has an interesting idea as well...

-[ ] Perfect Invisibility, Even In Memory
-[ ] Acceleration

As for why—we can start with a very high Esper power and then obtain superb tech stuff in the future.

Yes, or if not then it's a pseudonym anyway. But it is the canon name of Number Six who is implied to be/is male.

At this point, again, I feel like we need to at least have a "Scientist/Esper/Robotics Vote" before we nail down the specifics (and yes, Robotics includes Nanomachines.

Alright, I'll be more specific. Let's say a man is doing push-ups and a car is driving down the road and they constantly slow down or speed up. They have nothing in common except that they are both accelerating. That's how similar vector control and acceleration are. Vector Control isn't turning into an Infinite Mass Punch anytime soon and Acceleration isn't going to stop the planet's movement for a second without a huge warm-up. I think you are comparing the name of the power to Accelerator's codename, which is borderline inaccurate in my opinion.

You've got to be way more specific. Like, INCREDIBLY more. Most powers can do that to some degree bullshit tier (ex Misaka breaking apart ground to make iron sand for magnetic buzz-saws and such). Pick a focus.

Actually, that's pretty vague. As in, "All chemical reactions are under my control in all ways" vague. That's pretty scary.
