Guys, with "fist of heaven" plan we actually stacking our buffs to martial arts, that means our punches went from (approximately) 2X more powerful into 4X more powerful.

Additionally, it is rare in AGG-system we got stacking bonus unless we got high level technique or something similar.

Well Lil Bro is probably "not in the know" about magic and we are the mentor figure to give exposition and slowly introduce him to the supernatural world and help him get a harem. We are probably gonna die once MC learns the basics tho.
That's what my plan Silent Knowing Shadow is all about in the previous vote. I am not too troubled with it as there are a bro who is essentially a muscle head, but it seems most of the guys here want to out MC the main character instead.

Aren't you a bit curious to what will happen tho? will the QM make it so that the MC is even more OP to compensate? Or will we get nerfed so our little bro will have to do most of the heavily lifting for plot reasons? We are all here to have fun so might as well make it as absurd as we can while still making something that we can all enjoy.

I want to try something New. Training and guiding the main character through his difficulties sounds something that I want to try. If I want a normal main character that solves everything by his own might I will not come to this thread.

The QM said that this will be about the lil brother so the QM would make it about the lil Brother. He isn't gonna change the entire point of the quest just cause the Older brother fits into the mold of an MC. We haven't even seen what our lil brother is like so relax and be patient.

Way I see it, trying to upstage the Protagonist will either stick us with a permanent case of the Worf Effect, to establish how our lil Bro is truly the Protagonist, or make us die quicker so we can no longer protect the bro and he needs to stand up for himself.

[X] Plan the fist of heaven

Cursed Gauntlets are really synergetic since we already have our own tag in an unarmed fighting style. (Street Fighting)

Plus, we get bonuses to Martial Arts training just like the gauntlets from the Dreamer class.

I'll also note that we have a tag in a Resistance skill, which is synergetic with this part of the Cursed Gauntlet:
Martial Art: Unyielding Mountain Technique - The user becomes as a mountain. Unmovable, unbreakable, yet hitting with enough force to shake the earth beneath them. This Style requires the user to not just be physically resilient, but mentally and spiritually as well. For only when all three are in balance does this Style truly shine. Corresponding Skill: Resistance

For the record, the bonuses don't stack for you. They're the things your Partner gets bonuses and deductions for.

Fun Fact: Choosing your brother is going to be the next, and last, part of character creation.

So, fist of heaven isn't gonna be as good as it was intended until much later once we leveled up?

If you're looking at it from a purely mechanical perspective, I guess not.

Note that that was not what I was going for when I said that.

Training with your Partner will give you bonuses based on what they're good at. With higher bonuses based on their Skills. You'd just have to ask them to help you.

So, would this particular action run into the stacking training bonuses thing, or do partner bonuses and your own talents not stack? (Martial Arts, to be specific.)

So if it works, it'd be like we're training with a +2 to Martial Arts, which is 20 per action.

It would work if they accept, and they would stack. Like in Combat.

On one hand, yes no malus, on the other hand, noo that's half the reason I advocate the--

...nevermind, it seems we still have a training bonus from them.

And conditionally it stacked, it still good and synergistic in other ways.

Blinks at the near lack of Griffin Votes.

This must be corrected.

[X] Wings of Freedom.
-[X] Yes - You've got a Partner that will help you fight and give you power. In return, you'll protect them from the Organization that hunting them. Though you're not sure how you'll do that.
-[X] A Proposition - Your Partner sought you out. You're not sure why, but they really wanted to team up with you. Maybe it was your personality, your pure strength, or maybe they just felt sorry for you. Either way, they came to you and now you're working together. (Starting Partner Bond: A Monster's Confidence)
-[X] Eyes.
-[X] Gryphon - A Proud, Majestic Predator, that will lead those who follow it into a New Dawn.

The previous vote already had him focus as an idealist, in a world where monsters are being hunted down, with skills in diplomacy, spirit, and street fighting. Probably not going to win, but Griffon seems to fit this path. Bound it to our eyes, which view the world in our mindset.

Who knows with enough time, our brother may take up our ideals, when we tragically die!

[X] No - You don't have a Partner. While you might have some knowledge or theories about the Supernatural world, you haven't had any physical interaction with it.

Remember kids, if a strange monster rolls up to you in a white van and asks you to make a contract, Just Say No!
