A Bright Dawn to Come (SRW/ME)

Karin was explicitly introduced as one of those civilians who made it aboard the Harmonia that have a useful skill set. She wasn't a student at Bright Academy. I can't imagine her having voluntarily sought out military adjacent training while attending a civilian institution either given the veiled hostility she's displayed towards military things.
Must have been thinking that because of her canon ME self then, and the fact Shanxi was basically a military colony.

Chakwas enlisted in the Alliance soon after she graduated from medical school, originally seeking "exotic adventure". Even after the realities of service sobered her outlook, she stayed with the Alliance out of a sense of duty to humanity, eventually earning the rank of major. Though she sometimes considers starting her own private practice, or going to work at a medical center on one of the colonies, she feels that "there is something special about working on soldiers", and believes she would be abandoning them if she did not stay.

But Karin didn't actually join up until after med school in canon, so my mistake.

In the mirror universe, Char Aznable, also known as 'the Blue Comet', became world-famous when he prevented an asteroid strike that would otherwise have destroyed the peaceful Dinosaur Enclave. He would then go on to finally rid the world of the terror of the international terrorist group Infernal Being, along with many other heroic acts, and his open-faced helmet would become an icon for the ages, and a symbol for the famous Decade of Hope.

Votes over, if these should matter it should probably go to the first tiebreaker.

[X] The RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes"

I'd explain my reasoning, but it's a certain phrase that portends the immediate death of a mook saying it. ;)
