Elepo Ple was the first girl ever known to be cloned in Gundam, her and her clones first appearing in ZZ Gundam.
She was ten when first encountered during the Neo Zeon war, becoming one of the youngest enlisted pilots in Gundam even today.
Her clones are known as the Ples, and their history is fucking atrocious. Made as soldiers without the originals knowledge or consent, the known history of most Ples is one of horror and tragedy, with Ple Twelve's being one of the most disgusting and terrible in Gundam history, and indeed mecha in general.

Fortunately, in this world, it seems like most of the Ple were saved.
Well since Kyosuke and Excellen had been confirmed, this just gives me more fuel to do this The Swordman and the black horse new adventures.
Kazanari Genjuro was really having a hard time right now.
Not because of a noise attack or anything like that.
But because they really needed to find a new gastronomy teacher and a kendo instructor and fast.
While normally finding them wouldn't be that hard at the start of a school year.
It was an entirely different story when you needed one when the school year already started.
Sadly, the old professor and instructor had been killed due to a noise attack that the poor men didn't manage to escape on time.
While he knew Lydian was mostly a front to identify possible gear users and served as the HQ of S.O.N.G., a few select of the personal really worked for it, the other workers were just normal teachers that signed an NDA clause to not reveal anything about S.O.N.G. when they were contracted to teach the children, after all the least he could do was to give these children a good education, even if they were electives.
It never sat well with him that these children were technically the only ones capable of activating a gear system and to be able to finally fight back against the noise in a way that they would finally be able to end one of the last remaining threats leftovers from the decade of doom.
If he could take the frontlines himself, he totally would, if it wasn't for that accursed carbonization and dimensional tune out that the noise did, he would have crushed them to dust with his own two hands.
And yet Ryoko has told him time and time again that there is no compatible relic for him, not even if he used a ton of linker like what Kanade did in the past.
Genjuro cannot help but sight at even the mental mention of the girl.
It was a miracle that she even survived that concert, if it wasn't that one of the old members of the robot army was assisting the concert with his robot, they wouldn't had made it in time to the hospital.
It still surprised him that the Boss Borot could run so fast even if it was made entirely out of junk and yet, they didn't get out of there without consequences.
He was lucky to have walked out of there with only some contusions and bruises considering almost the entire building came down on him, the same couldn't be said about his coworkers on the other hand, Ryoko and he were the only ones that survived from the laboratory that held the Nehushtan armor.
The girls on the other hand were scarred not only physically, but mentally.
While her niece was somewhat more hardened from the experience, she didn't shut herself off completely mostly thanks to a still recovering Kanade, he still remembers the redhaired girl giving a verbal lash out with her still recovering vocal cords when Tsubasa started spouting some nonsense about becoming a sword due to her weakness that day, which really got to the blue haired girl that day.
Meanwhile Kanade, he will be honest that girl was as stubborn as a mule, the damage done by the superb song was so much that it was a miracle she was even alive, broken pieces of the active relic had managed to incrust into her body and needed surgery to remove.
Her legs had become too damaged to use after the surgery, she would be able to use them again without any help, but she needed therapy that she was still going trough today, at least the doctor had said that in some more months she should be able to ditch the cane.
Her internal organs were also damaged and needed at least 1 year in the hospital to recover from that.
Then there were her vocal cords, with the relic breaking so close to her neck some of the fragments managed to make their way there too.
It took her 6 months to recover her voice just to whisper thanks to the medical advancements of today, by the year she was able to talk normally, today she could even yell, but the doctor had said that she needed at least one more year to fully recover her voice, this obviously meant no singing till then, which really got to the red haired girl on how badly her stunt had ended.
She finally accepted it once he stopped her of trying to steal some linker to try to make Ame-No-Habakiri play ball with her once she got to the cane phase of the therapy.
At least they had been trying to get the rookie used to her new life and Tsubasa is slowly opening again to the idea of having a partner.
"Still haven't found anyone for the position yet big guy?" the sly voice of Ryoko interrupted his thoughts as she entered the office.
"Sadly no, the people I have interviewed so far do have the requirements, but just simply cannot measure to what the old teachers could accomplish" Genjuro said honestly in a defeated tone.
"Honestly I don't know why you go to these lengths for these children, but well you are the one technically running the school, so I cannot really complain, either way I have news on the guys you told me to research about and I will be honest these guys were good enough that I had to call a favor from Hayato just to get these" Ryoko said as she handled him the dossiers.
Now that raised Genjuro attention even more than before.
These guys were the last two that were going to be interviewed and something about their resumes just raised a lot of alarms with Genjuro.
Everything seemed too incredulous to even believe.
Seriously who calls their child the Mysterious Gourmet in German and who in their sane mind would put the sword that cleaves evil under their resume, even if the title was really cool.
Didn't help that the blond guy looked a lot like the deceased Char Aznable.
So, he was going to make sure he wasn't going to contract the man that almost dropped a colony that was going to destroy the planet.
And yet to need the help from Hayato Jin of the aptly named Hayato research institute to even discover who these persons were raised even more alarms, when he opened the dossiers, he saw their names being Ratsel and Sanger alongside a name and a symbol that he never expected to ever see again.
A paramilitary group that opposed the federation and various nations during the Campbellan wars on the year 93, once led by the brilliant professor Bian Zoldark who was the head researcher on the plasma energy field as a mean to leave behind fossil fuels alongside the likes of Professor Yumi with Photon energy and Professor Saotome with his research on getter rays.
The Professor had founded the divine crusaders to unify earth against the Campbellan threat alongside the ever-rising threat of BioNet and another alien invasion he had predicted would occur on the year 94 as he saw that the federation and the robot army weren't enough to stop the coming threats.
This unifying in the opinion of the professor of course was going to happen even if it means doing it by brute force.
Thus, the old robot army not only had to deal with the Campbellans during that year, but also the divine crusaders.
The conflict was short lived ending that same year as the divine crusaders fell mostly due to in-fighting between members and some even defecting to the robot army to stop the more scrupulous members.
Even Professor Bian saw the necessity to defect and help the robot army after his second in command Adler Koch had splintered with the rogue remains of the crusaders to conquer the world his way and not to protect the planet as the professor desired, with the former stealing Bian ultimate robot.
The Valsion.
Even from his days with the EFF army nothing but rumors were told about how powerful that machine was, and that the robot army had managed to win due to sheer luck.
After that the professor surrendered himself to the federation for a trial with his reasons being that there may be a ray of hope and that humanity could survive the coming threats if the robot army stood there to defend this blue planet.
They gave him a sentence for the rest of his life due to the incident and his warnings of a new alien threat on the coming year fell to deaf ears.
He would be proven right once the Vegan Invasion began.
After that the professor spent his time in prison until the fall of the federation, to which his case was reviewed and due to the federation making deaf ears to the vegan invasion and to good conduct his sentence was cut short, and he was allowed to go free once again.
Last time anyone heard of him he was working with the Hayato research institute alongside Hayato Jin itself.
As for the remainders of the crusaders, all of them went into hiding after the divine crusaders incident and no one has seen them since then.
Until today that is.
"Ryoko, make sure to have the lockdown of the office on standby" Genjuro said in a serious tone.
This perked Ryoko curiosity "Are these guys that serious to warrant that? Haven't read the file entirely so seeing you on edge is pretty rare."
"Yes, they are, and I will give them just one chance and if they even drop a hint of doing something to these children, I will make sure they don't leave this office" Genjuro said.
Ryoko seemed surprised, she rarely saw Genjuro this serious and ready to kill someone "Well good luck with that I will tell those two they can go ahead for the interview, don't die in there" the woman said as she blew him a playful kiss.
As Ryoko went out it took some minutes but both men had entered Genjuro office.
The first was a white-haired man with a red coat and a serious look on his face, one that said that he was one of few words.
Meanwhile the second was a blond-haired man with sunglasses and a very striking outfit, if he didn't know better, he was sure he would be looking at the deceased red comet, which he didn't know which one was worse.
At that he pushed a button on his office to signal the staff to initiate the lockdown on his office.
In question of seconds the office was totally locked off from the outside world and only he and the men inside would be able to know what was happening in here.
Both men didn't seem surprised at this, to which Genjuro started the conversation "Well gentlemen to what I owe the pleasure that two ex-divine crusaders are applying for teaching jobs at my school?'' Genjuro went directly to the point with a tone that said that if they gave the wrong answer, they wouldn't be leaving this room alive.
"Heh, I suppose there is no point in hiding things then, but before we do something irrational, we didn't come here with bad intentions mister Kazanari, far from that, we do come to teach these children our skillsets, but before we continue, how did you discover us? being able to get pass all the falsified information is no easy task" the blonde man said in a honest tone.
Genjuro was incredulous at the question, but he decided to answer the man "Your name, resume and appearance, no one in their mind would name themselves the mysterious gourmet unless it was a fake one, your friend had the sword that cleaves evil on his resume, and I was making sure I wasn't going to just hire the red comet".
The blond man just stood there and then started to laugh "Hahaha, I will give you that, many do think of myself a weird man for naming myself Ratsel Feinschmecker, but it is what I am and that I had quite the people confuse me for the departed red comet, but seriously Sanger you had to put that in your resume?" Ratsel shot an accusatory look at his friend.
The man named Sanger stood in his same serious position with his arms crossed and said, "It is what I am Ratsel, as you are a gourmet, I am the sword that cut downs evil and that is something I will never lie about myself".
Ratsel just pinched the bridge of his nose "I have been friends with you for years so I really should had seen this coming, either way mister Kazanari as I said we came here because we want to teach these children, specifically we came due to a favor we owed an old friend of ours that not only told us about the position, but also because you will have to prepare S.O.N.G. in general for what is coming" Ratsel said in the same honest tone that Genjuro was starting to believe.
"Well say I believe you, who would be this friend that recommended you and what is this threat that would specifically need S.O.N.G. to prepare for?" Genjuro said.
"You already know him, he is actually waiting for you to call to disclose what is coming, he told us to give you this once we got here" Sanger said a phone, probably a burner one to the red-haired man.
At that the man took the phone and unlocked it as it didn't have any kind of password, as he went into the contacts of the phone there was just one name in there, one he recognized damn well.
Hayato Jin.
At that he quickly tapped the videocall function and the call was quickly contested.
"I see you got my little gift already Kazanari" Hayato Jin answered trough the videocall.
"Jin I will just ask this once, what is the meaning of this and how can I know it is really you and I am not being deceived?" Genjuro asked what he supposed was Hayato Jin, one never could be sure in this line of work.
Hayato just gave a smug grin to the man before he started "Well I couldn't just drop these two trough normal means at your doorstep without someone like your old man calling for their blood thanks to the divine crusaders incident, you know very well I don't trust even myself with this type of stuff and I hope you can play along for these two may be some of the best men I could get you to join in your work, as for how to confirm that it is me, well I know that bastard you call old man did something that I will not even mention making your niece not your niece, but your S-" Hayato couldn't finish before Genjuro interrupted him.
"Okay, okay it is you alright" Genjuro said in a panicked tone, it was also an open secret that Hayato Jin was formerly a terrorist willing to go to war with Japan before Ryoma Nagare and Professor Saotome dragged him to be a getter pilot and that the man had a lot of dirt on politicians in general, something he picked up again during the gryph wars to deal serious blows to the titan abiding members of the Federation, his father included.
"Glad to see we are on the same page Kazanari, as for the threat at hand, the video folder should have more than enough evidence to put the entirety of S.O.N.G. on red alert" Hayato said as he instructed Genjuro to see what he meant.
As he opened the folder and put the video, he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"Jin are you sure this is not some kind of sick joke?" Genjuro asked baffled.
"Sadly, no it isn't, and I wish it was, this came straight from a recent battle from Tetsuya Tsurugi and I just recently confirmed it with Kabuto, we are under the possibility that Doctor Hell is actually alive and planning something or on the other case that a whispered is following in his steps, I don't know which is worse" Hayato expression changed from smug to serious.
Genjuro couldn't blame him now for this, just the idea that Doctor Hell may be on the loose or even a copycat would be enough to mobilize the entire Japanese army, but a question still loomed on his mind.
"How the hell haven't we heard any of this until now?" Genjuro asked.
"That is something I am asking myself, I would have thought that just the information about the appearance of Kikaiju in general would had reached any of the involved parties during the Hell uprising or at least the current division against the Noise and yet if it wasn't for Tetsuya we wouldn't had known of this until it was too late, so either they didn't deem it too important or" Hayato said as Genjuro finished.
"Or someone is actively suppressing information, just what we needed, but tell me why me, I though the robot army would be on the frontlines if Doctor Hell is truly alive" Genjuro said.
"I doubt it, most of us are either retired, dropped off the map or even want to leave those days behind, it is only Benkei and me Kazanari, so Getter G will not be able to deploy without Ryoma and Mazinger z will need permission of the government to deploy, the Combattler V will probably be the only super robot you have at hand from day one, but even then Hyoma and the rest can do so much and you will need S.O.N.G. to be on top condition for when they come knocking at our door, we knew Hell from the early days and trust me that madman will be interested on the Symphogear system if it advances whatever goal he has in mind, without counting that your people will be the response team when that happens and let me tell you, whoever made those kikaiju upgraded them enough that even the current line of mobile suits or knightmare frames will have trouble fighting them" Hayato said.
Genjuro couldn't respond at that, if even the unreadable Hayato Jin was going to these lengths, then it was serious, he will also need to ask Ryoko later for anything related to security leaks too.
Genjuro just sighed and sank further into his chair finally accepting the situation "What you need me to do?" the man asked the current head of the Hayato research institute.
"I knew you would understand, so far only Ryoko and you know about who these guys truly are, just make sure to play along to the lie so their true identities doesn't reach anyone that may want their blood and you got yourself one of the world's best chefs and someone who would leave your niece wanting to know his techniques, trust me Ratsel is a chef sent by the gods themselves aside from being one of the best snipers I know and I have seen firsthand what Sanger can do to an enemy, trust me it is not pretty and if someone does get to know just tell them it is to keep a close eye on wanted terrorist, it isn't strange that even people like them want a new life after all, just look at bright academy, they hire all kind of veterans from the one year war from both sides, either way I got to go now, I have to keep working, I will sent you later some data for Kikaiju simulations too" At that Hayato finally cut the call.
Genjuro then put the phone down and looked back at the two men applying for the job.
Ratsel then started to speak "If it is any consolation, we would have been happy to just fall back to obscurity and to live the rest of our lives in peace with the Grungust type 0 and the Huckebein MK 0 being left behind in the hangar, but sometimes the ladies of fate just have something else in mind" the man tried to comfort the head of S.O.N.G.
Sanger then spoke "Indeed, be aware as long as these children are under our care, we will make sure nothing happens to them" the white-haired man said.
"I will take you to that, because if something happens to those children or any of the staff of S.O.N.G. and I know it is your fault I will make sure the last thing you see is a hospital monitor" Genjuro warned the men.
Sanger smiled at that "I would feel insulted if you didn't, very well Genjuro Kazanari, know that my zankanto and me are under your care" Sanger said.
"Well, I will still need to test your abilities, so mister Feinschmecker, if you can do me a lunch that can knock my socks out you can start to work right away, as for you mister Zonvolt, you will need to wait for my niece to come back to truly test your skill, I could do it, but I doubt my hand to hand technique would be suitable for a sparring session" Genjuro said as he pushed a button to deactivate the security protocols on his office.
"Just lead me to the kitchen and I will have something done, I will make you see why I call myself the mysterious gourmet" Ratsel said as he followed the red-haired man out of the office.
Meanwhile Sanger just said "Very well I will wait, but I wouldn't mind sparring with you I the future, I can tell that you would be able to match me and my Zankanto without much trouble like my Master friend, his entire school is based on hand-to-hand combat".
At the end of the day Hayato wasn't lying about Ratsel being a chef sent by the gods, that man may as well be as he made him a full gourmet course with just what he had at hand on the cafeteria.
As for how the battle between Sanger and Tsubusa went, it had taken just 30 seconds to end everything, Tsubasa had managed to stand her ground for a while, but Sanger was immediately able to see openings and the self-named sword that smites evil got every single point in the match after that.
The man corrected Tsubasa in every single error on her posture and her niece was sure taking note after that, he will need to break the news about the Kikaiju later, but so far, Genjuro just knew he got two new workers at hand.
He just hopes that his trust will never be betrayed by them.
AN: Jesus this took me a while to get out, so here is my attempt to include the mysterious gourmet and the sword that smites evil to the story.
The divine crusaders refers to the original conflict of the 2nd SRW game ever, in which Bian Zoldark wanted to unite the earth trough any mean possible to stand against an alien threat that was coming to earth, to which both Ratsel and Sanger were working for during the OG games, kinda found it easy to put it alongside the Campbell war as the year 94 would come the Vegan invasion and this was one of the more early games making it so they didn't had a lot of plot and mechas during those days.
Bian Zoldark was never a bad guy really too, he just wanted to protect the planet and was using any means necessary for that, sadly his pairs didn't had the same idea to which I took some liberties making Bian survive his canon death on those games after some of his own men threw his lot with the old robot army.
Also fun fact this guy is a much of a mecha fan as Ryusei of the SRX team, so him working with Hayato in what probably is the Neo Getter is a dream come true.
As for Hayato itself, the man is cynical and paranoid to a point, as I said, before the getter canon he was a terrorist willing to go to war with Japan and would had collected a lot of dirt on the older politicians of the time, especially during the gryph wars to cause chaos to the titan's abiding members of the federation, so of course he would know a lot about Fudo old dirty secrets, he has his way of doing things and if information had to reach him through Kabuto, he will know that there is dirty play already being put on play.
And he is also right, as far as they know S.O.N.G. will be probaably the first ones to confromt the reappareance of the Kikaiju alongside Combattler V as one of the veterans.
Genjuro of course is still not sure about if to trust these two men, but well only time will tell, also made it that information about the kikaiju reappearing is still scarce so I had it that the big shots didn't consider it important or that someone is outright cutting of info to push agendas, like Fine tried to kill Kanade because she was the strongest Symphogear user at the time, the old witch could manipulate events to also I don't know try to get rid of Tsubasa.
Also put some cheeky references that Sanger master and that Master Asia know each other, like I said, it makes too much damn sense that Genjuro is a disciple of the schoof of the undefeated from the east.
As for their mechs, the Grungust type 0 and the Huckebein being dubbed in this case also the Mk. 0 instead of ii makes sense, both these machines were powered by plasma energy reactors and wouldn't be too game breaking, also why I left Bian alive, possibility of the Dynamic General Guardians being their season upgrades.
Also of course Trombe override and Tsubasa learning from the sword that smites evil.

I think you'd want full-body coverage for armor to do that with. Otherwise, well, congratulations, you've just punched them, shame about what happens when the fingers of your punching hand make contact.

Some of the Kurogane Five might be able to make some headway. Those furious nutters.
We're not restricted to characters from the present. I'm only familiar with the plot of about three and a quarter games in the series, and I'm pretty sure I've seen enough bizarre "and that's how we came to join the mecha murderball" stories that "time traveling future Ple-spawn" isn't even in the top five.
So the only things that sticks out to me, and might have been in one of your earlier ones - Hayato's new lab is simply called the Hayato Research institute. But other than that it looks good.
These should probably be the Gespenst Type-S and Type-R, the developmental predecessors of the Grungust and Huckebein lines that were created as one-off prototypes to serve as proof of concept. Grungust Reishiki comes later, and the first Huckebein models had the 008L and 008R designations, with the 009 being made later.
The 008s' special gimmick is, of course, the Black Hole Engines, so if you're going to stick with using the Huckebein, you'll be using the 009 with its conventional reactor.
Nice good to see I got us Sanger and Ratsel working for song too, made the corresponding change too, don't think we ever settled for a name on Hayato's new lab, so edited those parts to mention it is his research institute.

As for the Hucke, it is pretty much the 009 in all but name as I mentioned on my author notes.
I don't feel myself that skillful to even touch the black hole engine with a 10 meter foot pole due to how unstable that thing is, even if the vanishing trooper monicker came from sabotage, aside from all the implications that humanity managed to make machines that can chuck miniature black holes, without counting it is alien nature due to being from the Zuvorg Alliance in nature.
So mostly just went for their most known machines that don't use anything fancy aside from the plasma reactor during the early game before we can even try to get the dynamic general units
Didn't help my original draft had these 2 actually hail from the OG verse due to a mishap with symphogear gjallarhorn on their dimenssion and what they though the be a prototype crossgate which went active due to the Cybuster and the Chokijins getting too close and had the dynamic generals, on a badly damaged state as the gjallarhorn tried to rip them to shreds on my original draft due to no being relic users, but I just couldn't get that idea working pass the starting stages.
Also would made sense on why people didn't try to replicate them for personal troopers on this timeline, with their main inventor behind bar and probably not giving any detail away so his inventions couldn't be used for evil or in the case of Huckebein, I see the same problem of copyright maybe rearing it's ugly head as the hucke is pretty much a gudam in all but name.

I mean, all you need is to protect the parts making contact, ie: the fist. The mook level Noise seem to go down fairly easily if you can hurt them at all. And I'd be willing to put Genjuro's strength on par with at least beginning of series Hibiki*, so I don't think raw force would be a problem for him.
And the idea isn't that he has them so he can use them to go out and fight the Noise on his own, but as a holdout weapon incase he has to fight. So something small enough to carry around makes sense.
Also, a thought occurred to me about the ongoing vote.
Now, I'm not always the most knowledgeable, but my understanding is that Gundams tend towards the "super one-off" units in-universe. There are probably exceptions to that rule and I hope people will treat me with a measure of good grace while correcting me by regaling me with said exceptions, mind you.
But if Gundams are rare, and importantly not common on Shanxi...
Seeing a Gundam, any Gundam, even one that is older and not in ideal shape, might be good for morale. Because it's a reputation to conjure with.
Also, The Drache is apparently an old experimental cross between Frames and Mobile Suits which is interesting.

Whichever unit we pick, iguana is going to learn how to repair it for himself, and I do admittedly like the idea of an old machine like this getting some new life breathed into it by him. Possibly with Michigan commenting on him having a respect for the classics. It might get mothballed later on, but I just like the narrative vibes of this.
