Fair enough, although you are already on the right track.
In fact, you should be aware that when something does not fit a character's theme, they probably do not have it. Flight is something that can easily be distinguished.
So yes, Judge can not fly. If she wanted to go in a straight line, she would have to swim.

Yep we still need Judge and we cant carry Judge and Ludger, spending EXP for flying isnt really needed now. And because taking, the long way, you all now that Brave Heart will most likely catch up to us and most likely with even more soldiers? The hell, even Brave Heart can kill us easily.
On the short way we will be attacked from soldiers, but we have a better chance against them than fighting Brave Heart. And I even wrote a plan to limit them how they can chase us.
Together with a better heal and a bit more defense we can get away fast and met up with the 2 other MG´s. They wont be this stupid to attack 5 MG´s without reinforcements. Which will get us away from there and be still alive. We arent even forced to stay with them afterwards if we dont like them.
I think that we haven't been noticed yet, and we have no guarantee that our contacts are here, so we don't have anywhere to hurry yet. I also would have preferred to have some cover when we are discovered, if only against the military. We aren't that good at dodging bullets.
Either plan involves reuniting with 2 more girls, so this isn't an argument for or against. The question is how we get there.

You seem to indicate that forest path = Brave Heart, shorter path = soldiers, but I have no idea why. What prevents magical girls from being together with the soldiers?

Because our big sister ordered brave heart back and certainly delayed the other MG´s to buy us time. If we take the longer route that will give them time to catch up. AND the soldiers are already nearby. We heard them already.
To the first thing: We HAVE a destination and Judge said they should be there soon. Thats why i say we need Judge because with her we can identify the 2 contacts and we have her around if we must fight. Therefore even if other MG´s are nearby they arent as strong as Brave Heart. The problem is we cant even defeat them without Judge. I doubt that the military has already enough MG´s around to fight 5 MG´s. But with Brave Haert they will most likely try.
After considering all possibilitys the short way is a bit safer, because Naron wont get us away without a fight as long we dont have a own plan that is good enough. The two paths he gave us have most likely a fight in it. the difference is the enemy. AND with our defense we have a higher chance to survive bullets from soldiers than an attack from a MG. Both the long path seems far too convient to be really that good. Besides within the forest we wont see the enemys that good either and because they are most likely soldiers who dont hunt MG´s the first time not all will shout the whole time. Besides every commander from the military wouldn´t ignore the possibility of hiding within the forest.
The forest is a unfavorable area for the soldiers. therefore they will most likely use MG´s within the forest. They are strong enough to withstand most likely a suprise attack and can call help. Soldiers would have more trouble.
Maybe I am overthinking this. I´m aware of this, but better safe than sorry.

After thinking about it for a moment, Judge turns towards the forest. "This way, let's see if we can get away from them."
You quickly take your backpacks... ugh, your tummy hurts and you are hungry... but you can not eat right now. Breakfast has to wait.
The three of you get going quickly; Judge runs while you fly to her left and right, with Ludger following right after you. The sirring gets louder; Eva takes a look and you watch through her eyes... and... is that a helicopter?
It is still a bit away, but it comes closer.
Then you reach the first few trees and maybe they did not see you? There are more sounds from far ahead... is there another one?
"Closer to the ground."
You quickly do what the older girl says and float deeper; now you both almost touch the dry ground.
A glowing eye turns to you and Judge sighs. "Look, you two ain't the best at stealth with how you're glowing and all, but we can work with that. Just stay down and watch my back... and make sure your dog stays quiet."
Ludger is standing at attention, but you get what she means... cover Judge and stay out of sight... hm. You can do that... you think.
Eva gives a slow nod when you do and you try to flatten against the ground as much as you can without touching it. Leaving traces is bad, right?
. . .
Line Break Recognised . . .
You sneak through the forest for many minutes... or an hour? Or two? You have no idea; your heart beats heavily and you jerk around at every crack and creak... this is scary. You did not notice at first, but... if they find you... they will hurt you and Eva and Judge.
This is... this is not good. Maybe the people Judge wants to meet will be there already... hopefully.
While you think about that, you slowly float after the older Magical Girl and... then a dog wanders out of the bush next to you.
Its big and brown and black and its eyes are pretty mean and it looks at you and it growls and...
(Ludger: +40 Base Damage, +120 Furry Knight, no dice = 160 Total Damage
German Shepherd: +25 Base Resilience, -18 Juggernaut = 7 Total Damage Reduction
153 Final End Damage
German Shepherd Health: 130 - 153 = -23)
And a black and white blur crushes into it with a growl you never heard before; Ludger bites down on the bigger dog and you can hear something crack and tear and it sounds so awful and he claws and bites more and there is blood everywhere.
The other dog yowls in pain and then gets silent and... you can't stop looking. Eva stopped, too... and she is staring and Judge looks and even the soldiers... wait, soldiers?
There are three of them, with another dog... right behind that bush. And everyone just... stares at each other while Ludger shakes off blood and fur and flesh and you feel sick.
"Holy shit, that's some dog..."
Judge looks from Ludger back to you, then at the stunned soldiers. "So... uh... you guys feel like going elsewhere?"
They blink at her... and then they point their weapons at her. "Yeah, figured as much."
(Soldier 1-3, Full Auto: +150 Base Damage, +30 Full Auto, +30 Full Auto, +30 Full Auto, +30 Full Auto, +30 Full Auto, no dice, x3 Hail of Lead = 900 Total Damage
2,700 Overall Damage

Target is not there.)
Bullets fly and... and then Judge suddenly stands right in front of you, the trees where she was before fill with metal and break and its so loud... but Judge is safe.
The other dog comes to jump you... you hold your arms in front of you to stop it.
(German Shepherd: +55 Base Damage, +25 Hunting Dog, no dice = 80 Total Damage
Primordial Sun: +65 Base Resilience, +26 dice = 91 Total Damage Reduction
0 damage)
You feel its teeth on your arm... but... they only press against it lightly.
When you look, the dog already let go again and nothing happened. Huh...
Then Ludger is upon it with another growl and you quickly look away.
(Poor doggie... I don't need to write this out again, do I?)
You can still hear it and it is so awful... Eva takes your hand and pulls you back while the bushes rustle and a blue beam runs through a tree where the soldiers stood before.
"You sure you wanna fight with me, guys?"
You have to do something, too. Maybe you can scare them more and they will leave you alone...
So you aim a little away from where one of the soldiers sits behind a tree and point your scepter. "Scorching Sunlight!"
Only its not a little beam anymore...
(Scorching Sunlight: +640 Base Damage, +71 dice = 711 Total Damage
Soldier 2: +50 Base Resilience, +320 Not Aimed at You, +100 There is a Tree There ,no dice = 470 Total Damage reduction
241 Final End Damage
Soldier 2 Health: 150 - 241 = -91)
Bright light cascades from the tip of your weapon and becomes a big beam the size of your head, breaking through the tree the man was hiding behind and you can hear a scream and... and then you see it... the man has a big hole in his side and it smells burnt and and it's so warm and...
The scepter falls out of your hand while the other soldiers scream things and Judge curses and Eva... Eva pokes you hard and wraps around you and she's scared and you too and... and... warm.
It's okay.
It's not.
You feel your hands shaking... but then Judge calls out her spell again and whacks the other soldier over the head with some weird skull-thingy.
(Gaster Blaster: +770 Base Damage, -660 This is Not a Club, -100 Not Trying to Kill +183 dice = 193 Total Damage
Soldier 1: +50 Base Resilience, no dice = 50 Total Damage Reduction
143 Final End Damage
Soldier 1 Health: 150 - 143 = 7)
She falls to the ground with a dull sound and Judge bends down to her for a moment, then turns to the bound man who just stares at her and shivers.
Eva takes your hand and hugs you while Ludger sits next to you... you close your eyes and let the tears out. This is wrong... what did you just do?
It will be okay.
No!
Of course it will.
There is so much warmth from your sister...
Judge says something in... uh... that sounds like German; you heard big sis talking like that a few times, but you have no idea what she says. So you just go back to hugging Eva and hiding your face.
Then another pair of arms wraps around you, thin and hard and cold... "I know it's hard... but we have to get going. They probably saw the lightshow."
You... you...
Shh
Eva hugs you tighter before letting go and taking your hand. Judge takes the other and starts leading you again.
But there is no one else, at least you do not see anyone. Your thoughts are going in circles and the other two guide you all the way... but... but you killed someone. This is not right, it can not be... how?
The last time you used Scorching Sunlight, it was just a thin little beam...
The forest ends before you actually come to any agreement with yourself. Why is it so cold?
Behind the forest lie grasslands, far and wide and the grass goes all the way to your thighs... and there is a group of trees in the distance.
"There, the trees are where we meet... damn those two, they're supposed to wait there already."
You can hear the whirring again.
Eva pokes you with more warmth and you slowly poke back... this... even after all of this, now is not the time. You have to be strong and protect your sister... but she is protecting you just fine. Still, you must not be a burden to Judge.
Your hands slowly slip out of their hands and you take a deep breath, Eva's feelings flooding all the bad thoughts away for now.
"Okay, let's go."
And the whirring gets even louder; you look back... and there are half a dozen helicopters circling the forest, two of them already coming for you. Judge sees it, too. "Oh, of course they find us now."
(Mortality Mortar: +1000 Base Damage, +400 Ordnance, +2 dice, x15 Lethal Surprise = 22,030 Total Damage
Helicopter 1: +230 Base Resilience, +6,000 airborne target, no dice = 6,230 Total Damage reduction
15,800 Final End Damage
Helicopter 1 Health: 1,000 - 15,800 = -14,800)
And then the first one explodes so violently you can feel the shockwave from a hundred metres away. It almost throws you to the ground and Eva clings to you with an eep. The other helicopter nearby is almost thrown out of the sky and there is... nothing left of the first one. Not even debris to fall down.
Judge sighs and pushes you. "Move it, Iron is covering us."
Both of you start hovering and dart away with the older Magical Girl and Ludger right behind you.
But there is more whirring right behind you... you look back and it is right behind you...
(Pulsar: +5500 Base Damage, +1046 dice = 6,546 Total Damage
Helicopter 3: +230 Base Resilience, -172 Juggernaut, no dice = 58 Total Damage Reduction
6,488 Final End Damage
Helicopter 3 Health: 1,000 - 6,488 = -5,488)
But before the helicopter can shoot, a blade slices right through it and makes it crumble under the force... the two halves fall from the sky and your eyes widen when you see the girl hovering right behind it.
The air around her flickers and her wings gently carry her closer to you while you slow down. Judge is looking, too... and the new girl only nods at her for a moment, then turns back to the remaining helicopters hovering further away.
And the single form leaning out of the foremost aircraft. You see the pink suit and memories of pain come back, quickly shushed away by your twin's warmth.
"Oh boy..."
The other girl keeps herself in the air with lazy wingstrikes, her red hair almost seeming on fire as the four helicopters close in.
(Happiness Howitzer: +5000 Base Damage, +2 dice = 5,002 Total Damage
Helicopter 2 & 4: +230 Base Resilience, -172 Juggernaut, +1000 Nimble in the Air, no dice = 1,058 Total Damage Reduction
3,944 Final End Damage per piece
Helicopter 2 & 4 Health: 1,000 - 3,944 = -2,944)
Then something booms behind you and something heavy hits the two in the middle and makes them explode, throwing the last one out of the sky and the first one forward even faster. You hear another loud boom when the helicopter hits the ground and breaks...
But who is standing behind you?
There is a big gun coming out of her arm and a sword in the other hand and she looks really cold... and the girl next to her looks like you. Wait.
What?
Why does she look like you? Not like Rico-you, but Sun-you!
The two new girls are still running towards you.
"Pitiful, really."
That is the girl with the cat-ears and wings talking... her voice is deep and she looks at the helicopter that tries to stay in the air. "Iron, are reinforcements coming?"
"Negative", the cold-looking girl tells her after -is that an antenna on her head? "Reinforcements were recalled, we can proceed."
"Hell yeah, good to see you gals."
Judge looks pretty glad and gives a wave to the weird girl and the one that looks like you, which you... uh, the other you... uh... whatever, she waves back. "I can guess why. Found some friends?"
"We can talk later", the kitty-girl says and you look back at the last helicopter. The other Magical Girl... Brave Heart... is jumping out of it and then it turns...
"No, you don't. Plasma Blast."
The warmth around her grows stronger and gathers in her hand and... it is so bright...
And then she shoots it at the helicopter in a bright beam.
(Plasma Blast: +9000 Base Damage, +242 dice = 9,242 Total Damage
Helicopter 6: +230 Base Resilience, +1,000 airborne target, no dice = 1,230 Total Damage Reduction
8,012 Final End Damage
Helicopter 6: Dead)
There is a trail after the beam hits and makes the helicopter explode in bright light, then a wave of heat rolls over you.
"Seriously? That wasn't necessary, Igni."
You agree with Judge... that was wrong. They were already going away!
The girl does not even look at you, she just watches Brave Heart run at you... but there are six of you and only her...
And Brave Heart is fast. You wait what the older girls will do, but she looks angry.
"Hey, you really shouldn't underestimate this chick. I couldn't do more than scratch her."
"So noted", the cold girl answers while looking between all of you. "Ignition Sentinel is objectively more suited to combat and shall suffice in scaring Brave Heart off."
The kitty-girl just grunts and raises her burning hand again. "That won't take long. Plasma Blast!"
It happens again...
(Plasma Blast: +9000 Base Damage, +8087 dice = 17,087 Total Damage
Brave Heart: +600 Base Resilience, -531 Juggernaut, +109 dice = 178 Total Damage Reduction
...)
Brave Heart explodes and a wave of dust is thrown up where she was running.
Ow... that must have hurt a lot... but... is she dead? You do not want-
(Heroes Never Die!
No damage)
-a pink blur darts out of the dust and leaps at the kitty-girl!
"That's it! Avatar..."
She lands on the ground and you and Eva quickly hop away. Then Brave Heart blurs forward. "...of Retribution!"
It is almost too fast for you to see.
(Avatar of Retribution: +4,560 Base Damage, +100 Hostile Story Effect, +639 dice = 5,299 Damage
Avatar of Retribution: +4,560 Base Damage, +100 Hostile Story Effect, +1603 dice = 6,263 Damage

Avatar of Retribution: +4,560 Base Damage, +100 Hostile Story Effect, +748 dice = 5,408 Damage
Avatar of Retribution: +4,560 Base Damage, +100 Hostile Story Effect, +3190 dice = 7,850 Damage
30,712 Total Damage
Ignition Sentinel: +6,500 Base Resilience, +5200 Fast Reflexes, +5200 Expected This, +500 Legendary Existence, dice negated = 17,400 Total Damage Reduction
Blood and feathers and innards and clothes fly and the kitty-girl screams while she is pushed away and lands somewhere away... the grass around her catches fire and she does not get up again.
You can feel a painful knot in your throat while Brave Heart lands in front of you, her clothes on fire and her skin burned... but she gets up and looks at you all with so much anger...
"You will pay for the people you killed today."
Well...

Brave Heart just did something she was not supposed to be capable of, earning herself a new Ability and a small ton of EXP.
...yeah, we ain't gonna talk her down, not if she's willing to go 6-on-1
And...yeah, for the twins' sake I'd rather try to not kill her, but she's relentless and determined enough that we may not have the option, and convincing the other 4 to spare her might be difficult in and of itself

Anyways, this fight is COMPLETELY out of our league.
Advanced connection should help with the twins calming each other I hope, since we can use The Aegis to heal Sun but Moon gets to just deal.

First I would recommend that we heal the catgirl, maybe leveling our heal a bit for that.
Btw guys why leveling our connection now? I really really doubt that this will help in this situation. We should looking what we can do to help them. Aegis is something I can understand but, with the other EXP we should level up things to help the others, or they will be killed like the other MG just now.
Besides the fact that I called it with Brave Heart, nothing more to say.
And I think we should be more active here, because our other MG´s are all shocked. Tell them to hold Brave Heart off, while we heal the wounded MG.
My reasoning here? We either gain a 5 times mutiplier on our weapon, or it gains 40 damage per level. I'm really curious and would find it funny of the White Mage beating the enemy.

One of our Allies needs sever heals and this is her best chance.

One of our Allies needs sever heals and this is her best chance.
Some of the Plans aren´t bad, but we should consider our options with our EXP-Plan:
1. We can run and let the other MG´s die.
Because of that our girls will mentally suffer AND with just that we wont escape. Especially we are not familiar with the terrain and if Brave Heart catches up or something like that, we are dead. (Plan: RUN will most likely just give us a bit of time, before she catches up)
2. We wait that the other girls react and tell us what to do. They are shocked therefore they wont act without input the next round. Therefore another girl dies. If we are unlucky even we will be hit and then Game Over. I doubt that we can raise our defense enough to survive that.
3. We can surrender. Brave Heart will kill us painless at least.
4. Try to fight her head on ....... with a look on her dmg, I shouldnt need to point out how bad of an idea that is.
5. Telling them to do something and try to heal them enough. For that we need strong heals. And with luck and teamwork we will hopefully win.
Besides Rico dropped her Scepter and didnt pick it up. Therefore she is unarmed and cant cast her spell until she de-transform and transform again. But to do that we need the help of the others.
The abilitys we dont know should be have something to to with their names. All is Equal doesnt seem to be a ability who will safe us here.
Considering all of this, our best option is the thing with the heal. At least that is how I see our situation.
So please guys dont run with open arms from the cliff, right into death.
