Ray (buyable at rank 35 panoply) sounds like it'd synergise quite well with ceaseless warrior.

We need a Purge Auto-Counter and/or something that makes us inviolate. Big numbers that are dependent on stacking bonuses are easy enough to shut down in duel situations, as we just saw.

also why are we visiting night sky.
It's terrible not fun and makes them bitches and everyone an idiot as you let them literally give you death threats backed by actual force and muscle you around into giving up things of yours and hanging around people who want you to die and would fit in perfectly in demon rape land. And for some reason no one tells it to their actual face so they can actually do something about it before she trips the one person who can and does seriously fuck them over because the shit reinforce pulls is not cool or funny.

It like the thing that would give an escaped demon bitch magical girl nightmares and or PTSD flashbacks. Oh wait it actually did which is why Summit doesn't like them.

And to answer your question: Because we want to improve our magic and Night Sky is just flatly better at magic than us.

I think the ice cream machine would help butter up MGNS for magic practice and score us some brownie points with the other MGs. We could use thoose.

Well, we just need to practice flawless interruption more to grab Quell, so we can move along this line of abilities.

Also, if we're following Knight Run as material for wave force, we can combine both Inchoate and Standing wave for a 'Resonance' wave.

Quell will be unlocked the next time we practice. As for a potential Resonance Wave, it seems plausible as nothing in the wording of the relevanr shop items suggests that we couldn't.

We're one of the highest levelled MGs on the base right now, and none of the other people in that tier are magic focused, much less to the stupid extent that Night Sky is.

Back of the envelope calculations suggest that Summit has huge problems getting to 100k damage, even with tens of thousands of XP spent.

1600 *6 (Crush and Rain of Blows) +8000 (Applicable Slayer effect) *5 (Slash Hell) = ~88k damage.

1600 *11 (Rain of Light) +8000 (Applicable Slayer effect) *3 (Multi-Shot) = ~76k

1600 *25 (Spell Boost on Aggressive Absorption) *2 (Multi-Cast) = 80k

Using Slayer damage isn't guaranteed, but might make her more killy than the numbers suggest when it works...

I actually thought Steel Monsoon was 10% boost for a 25% overkill. Which doesn't really change things when she can kill demons wholesale.

Could you cut it out with the rape thing? And Lisa didn't support it, she would have enthusiastically helped Anna kill Marax or just killed the bastard on her own if Anna had joined her. Zoe is the one that deserves that condemnation...

...Anyways, Summit and Nightmare of Night don't like eachother, but have some understanding of what makes the other tick. Which is about as much as can be hoped for when crazy veteran MGs rub shoulders and don't get along. (Dark Steel has killed "allied" MGs and others in fits of rage or paranoia. The base tolerates her because the Embassies can usually revive them and Dark Steel is really strong. Reinforce is easy to appease once you grok that Night Sky is everything to her. And Night Sky is delighted that everyone is so nice to her now, why upset this? Particularly when you want to get special training for magic.)
 
Summit seems to rely on Wave Force's autoscaling against bigger targets vs badly needing some Panoply buffs to deal with small targets that have a lot of DR and low max HP. Everyone and their mother having 50% DR that still applies to Wave Force is a real kick in the teeth to her build compared to my gut feeling of how she should stack up given her experience.

Dark Steel has a body count of only "usually" revived. That's not funny. That's horrifying sad all around and is gonna explode.
