Eventually getting the EGGergy armor should rig things even more for us but yeesh. Eggman punchs at Selvaria and Shadow's level where Sonic is involved?!
...Come to think of it we can probably do an excellent 'Senator Armstrong' impression.
This was a very contested option, in the end there was a vote between the Wrestling Federation!, the Egg City Fortifications and the Signal.
The Wrestling Federation got 4 votes on Discord and 4 votes on the thread
The Egg City Fortifications got 10 votes on Discord but only 1 on the thread
Finally, the Mysterious Signal got 19 votes on Discord and 5 on the thread
So the Mysterious Signal was the favored option both here and in Discord.
Sleet and Dingo are being forced to participate in Deathwatch, a super violent and very lethal TV show in Noah territory, whoever we send will appear on the show.
Ah, I meant how Goji know about what happens there...but fair regarding TV...come to think of it could we use that assualt to draw the other Egg bosses?
Any action that happen in our territory but outside the Egg City, which is not that many.
Extending Territory will be affected, but only if we attack other territories affected like the Empire or the Restoration, and the Malus would affect the defenders too.
Actions that involve building several things across our territory like mines or factories. We will unlock and option to build several Ragnite mines after building the first one, and we have an action to build factories all over our territory, Kingster forgot to add it in Turn 8, but he will in Turn 9.
Researching the flames will have the cursed fire proc, but getting rid of them won't, Kingster confirmed this on Discord.
I don't think any other action would be affected by the fires right now, maybe Check The Area For Magical Objects would.
It'd hit the grand prix, since that's across our entire territory. Infiltration or sabotage of affected areas (although, the curse malus may as well substitute the damage we'd do with that anyways)... Actually think it'd hit the Darcsen road if we try that? If for no other reason than that the pathway we create would be on fire, even though it's not a literal road, and the Darcsen need to cross our territory unless Starline's using his portals to get them over.
Might hit the mysterious signal too. Depends on where it is and how far across Green Hills the fire has spread.

Well it is not actually a literally road you know, they could just set a meeting point inside the Empire proper so that Starline opens a portal time to time to check in.
The most of work in the road is finding collaborators to help and spread the word without being picked by Imperial authorities.
Eggmelette #0003 "Shelley" set forth from the base alongside #0004 "Lee." and #0001 "Robotnik Jr." this was their first true outing to collect rings completely unsupervised, and they were eager to prove themselves of use to the Eggman Empire! Stepping out from the Egg City, they had to carefully navigate around the flames to reach the less... on fire, areas where the most rings could be found.
After quite a bit of travel, and collecting numerous batches of smaller rings on the way, they beheld two of the biggest rings they'd ever seen, one thin orange ring that floated in the air a little bit under the small cliff they'd climbed onto, and the other, hidden from view on top of the cliff, was an enormous thick ring easily dwarfing any other they'd ever encountered.
If they could bring these two back they'd be the envy of every other Eggmelette, certainly proving themselves the best of the batch. There was just the issue of how to manage it, none of them particularly wanted to jump off the cliff to grab the orange one, and they had spent a good 20 minutes arguing over who would do it, before Robotnik Jr declared that he'd get it and jumped off.
Shelley and Lee watched in shock as Robotnik Jr actually managed it, falling into the center of the ring and grabbing on... only to suddenly shoot off into the distance, releasing a high pitched scream all the way. The two remaining Eggmelettes shared a look, before turning to get to work on dragging the larger ring back to the base.
Agent Stone was in the bases kitchen, about to start on the doctors coffee, when he heard the Doctor over the basis sound system, "Stone, The Eggmelettes are reporting the entrance to the ring storage is blocked, go see what the hold up is." Well then, he'd deal with that first, then bring the Doctor his coffee.
The trip to the ring storage wasn't particularly long, but when he got there what he found was certainly surprising, a giant ring, clearly too large for the doorway, was lodged into it, somehow having become stuck, with Eggmelettes on both sides trying to get it back out. He moved to join them, and grabbed the ring to try and help pull it out, only for a sudden flash of light to cover his vision.
When the light had cleared he was somewhere else, rapidly looking around to assess the situation he saw he was in some kind of green and yellow half pipe, a number of Arrows pointing towards a line of rings with spiked black balls floating mixed in with them, looking up he saw a clear starry night sky despite it clearly having been daytime before.
Anyways, we are now at 23 non-bounty omakes for turn. If anyone's already written at least a couple and wants to do more, would probably be polite to ask if anyone else wants the last couple slots first. Make sure everyone who wants has a chance.

A Darcsen omake now that they're here, about getting them settled in.
Sage omake that I've been meaning to do for a few turns. Her and Cassia spending time together (takes place before the family drama began), plus a sequel that I might just squash into it.
I have some others, but those are the ones I feel I could get through relatively quickly if I have the time and motivation to write.
But I'm also one of the people who's already written two for the turn, so only if nobody else wants to call dibs and/or people especially want to see any of them.
I have a couple of idea, one of which I've made a start on but I've also already taken two spots this turn so will just leave anything I do in the meantime until after this batch is done
Egg Family Reunion: Once a Badnik Forever a BadnikNew
Egg Family Reunion: Once a Badnik Forever a Badnik
"And there we go, all done, next please." The robot know as E-117 Sigma said as he was performing a routine check on the scrapniks. He was almost done for the day too, just one little motobug left. Then he heard a knock and a familiar glichy voice.
"M-m-misterrrr Sigma aaaare y-y-yoou in herrre?"
"Of course Metal Amy. Has something happened?"
"We ffffound a new bad-badnik, and hhhhis b-b-big!"
Oh my someone new to join them, delightful! "Thank you very much Metal Amy. Please put them on the table, I just need to finish this maintenance check and I'll take a look at them immediately."
"Oooky doooky l-l-looky." He heard Metal Amy say as he went back to finish the checkup. While he was working he could hear Amy's and the others footsteps and then the big thud as the new robot was placed on the table.
With his work done he turned and walked towards the table. It was always a delight to welcome new members on the island and he had to admit he was curious what type of badnik arrived this time.
"All right then. Let's see who arr-!" But before you could finish your sentence you saw who was on the table. Dust and rust covered the faded green colour, one arm was missing, the top of his head looked like it was smashed with a hammer. But even with all this damages you immediately knew who this was. How could you not? Placing your hand on the side of his head you wiped the dust revealing a giant E.
Metal Amy must've noticed as well since she asked. "M-m-mister Sigma, do yyyyou kn-know him?"
"Yes. Yes I do." The prototype of the E-100 series. E-100 Zero.... your big brother.
After that you immediately started his repairs. The two most surprising things were that his programing was not that complicated just to catch a little bird that had a chaos emerald, so that was easy to remove and give him freedom. His propulsion system was thankfully also intact, so he won't have any trouble moving.
You managed to replace the missing bars and handlebars across his body. You also managed to make a new flashlight for him. Then you replaced his missing arm as well. Hmmm you gave him a spiked one similar to what.... Mecha Knuckles had. You hope him and the rest of the scrapniks who disappeared were safe.
Focusing on the repairs you finally arrived at the hardest part. You hope you weren't being rude but, youre brother had a big head and it took a lot of different parts to fix it but finally it was done!
Sadly it seemed the Doctor never gave him a voice box. And you didn't have the necessary materials to make one right now. You will go look later and see if you can find them, then talk to Zero about giving him some upgrades.
Taking one last look you were satisfied and with excitement you gave the activation command, ready to welcome Zero to his new home.
Online once more and the first thing you see is another E-100 series robot. One in a very horrible state and the place they were in was even worse.
"Greetings E-100 Zero!" Said the other robot with too much joy.
"I am E-117 Sigma and I am happy to welcome you to Scrapnik Island!" E-117 a later model, then why was he in such a sorry state.
Then he checked his status, his body looked horrible as well. His left hand replaced, various small parts around his body were also different and his head felt wrong. At least he could still move freely.
"Please come with me."
Following Sigma he finally saw what this Scrapnik Island was.
"We were all abandoned by Eggman but here you can make a new life and discover a new you, here you are safe."
Ridiculous.
Marching back indoors ignoring Sigma's call you looked for the best, farthest or the most isolated room there was. And you found the perfect one. You sat down and looked at the wall that had the Eggman Empire logo and waited. You and all the others are the Doctor's creations and until he came to take you all back, you shall wait.
You tried to get Zero to come and see more of the island or to spend time with the other scrapniks but he completely ignored you. Even saying you wanted to give him a voice box didn't make him move. So it went for a time until Metal Amy decided to try her luck.
What a mistake it was, Zero did finally move. Move to attack her and you and Mecha Sonic barely stopped the fight. When asked why he did this he aggressively pointed at his head. "Looked like it was smashed by a hammer", ah yes Amy Rose did that to him.
"Yyyyyou big du-dumb j-j-jerk, you're noooo bet-better than thhhose miiiisfits!" Metal Amy yelled as she ran away. You got worried after she mentioned the misfits, but Zero just went back in his room. So you hoped nothing would happen because of that.
You were wrong again, Zero was gone and once again you took Mecha to check the misfits island. You arrived in time to see Zero running away from Paeudo Sonic and other misfits while Zero was shaking his fist at them.
"Next time you show you're face here I'm turning your ugly head into a trashcan!" Psudo yelled before the three of you returned and Zero went back in his room.
"He won't change" Mecha said.
"Please Mecha Sonic just.... give him some more time to adjust." You pleaded.
"Most of the others took much less time and/or have programing that makes it so much more difficult. He doesn't have that excuse."
You know that, but you want to believe that Zero can be better, you hope youre brother can be more than just Eggman's tool. You know it's possible, here on the island it's peaceful so you had more than enough time.
If only the peaceful times remained, first it was those creatures from the ocean that attacked. They were forced to fight and even Zero showed up to help. You didn't like how he looked much more happy and animated when he fought and when the battle was over he didn't stay to help fix what was broken or help the scrapniks that were hurt. He just went back on his room.
Then it was that signal, the recall signal sent by Doctor Eggman. It was somehow even worse than the creatures attack since it sent many of the scrapniks in a panic, even Mecha was affected. You and many others tried to calm the affected one's, when you remembered Zero.
Rushing to his room you found it empty. Running in the signals direction you saw Zero carefully hovering above the water adjusting his flight and then you saw him starting to leave.
"ZERO!" You screamed while rushing towards him, thankfully he stopped and looked at you.
"Please you don't have to do this, you don't need to go back to him." But then Zero slammed his hand on his chest then pointed in the signal's direction. He wanted to go back.
"But you will be made to fight and could be destroyed permanently this time. Here you can be safe." He pointed to his left and looking there, oh they missed one of those monsters corpses.
"Brother please you can be so much more." But it seemed he was done listening. He turned around and started hovering away. No matter what you said or how loud he never stopped or looked back. You could only watch him fly away until he was just a small dot and then nothing.
"Good luck Zero." You wished him.
"May we meet again." With those final words you turned around and walked away with a heavy feeling in your chest.
The Doctor abandoned us, the signal proved that wasn't true. Safe on that island, those monsters proved that wrong as well. Even if they were the most fun he had in a while.
Hovering slowly over the water, he had to be careful. If the monsters attacked he would have to engage the overdrive and run away as fast as possible. Getting dragged underwater in his curent state
would be a death sentence. Dying before reaching the Doctor was unacceptable.
Thinking about his Creator something did catch his attention. The voice that summoned them called the Doctor father and all of them siblings and cousins. Curious. He will need to learn more when he arrives.
Thinking back on those scrapniks, all that he could say was that they were fools. The Creator would take them and fix them immediately, especially those like Mecha Sonic and Sigma, which made their decision to stay away from the Doctor even worse.
Was it even worth it to mention them? Pondering on this question for a bit he decided that if the Creator wanted to know he would answer truthfully, but if he didn't then he wouldn't mention them. Let their cowardice lead them to a watery grave while he, the Doctor and his grand army conquer this world.
With those last thoughts the badnik known as E-100 Zero started his long journey towards his Creator.
An: And done the last of the SA1 E-100 bots, the big brother of the other E-100s you could call him. Fun fact the others were built with the animal battery but Zero doesn't have one. Hope you enjoyed it!
Honestly I love the dichotomy this gives Zero or "Alpha" to Omega whereas Omegas isolation gave him bitterness and contempt for his creator, Zero's loyalty and trust in his creator had him seek out and reside in similar conditions to that which Omega abhorred and spurred on the last of the E-series betrayal.

This is still a Sonic. He is not to be underestimated. I feel if he sees us as the leader he will focus on down, especially since we are an Eggman. A much more dangerous Eggman, yes, but still an Eggman.
All the better. If he's monofocusing on the Doctor that should (hopefully) leave him open to the rest of the strike team.
Also I'm fairly sure that ten heroes (Us and Merlina's) plus whatever super death robot we bring is enough to say we aren't underestimating him.
On another note we should have a vague idea of what Sonic is capable of since he's comparable to Shadow and Selvaria, and thus a decent idea of what his Anti should able to do.
Apporiximate bonus of +70 if we let him ramp up +plus whatever traits he has.
Well here is an omake. A lazy goddess misadventures.
''THIS IS THE LAST STRAW, NOT ONLY YOU DISRESPECT THE NAME OF THIS FAST FOOD JOINT CHAIN, BUT YOU ALSO DRAG IT TROUGH THE MUD, EVEN MORE THAN IT ALREADY IS!'' A red Crab mobian was seen carrying a purple haired girl trough the halls of Meh Burger as she struggled to free herself from the iron grip of those claws, while talking about stuff that many would call nosense like, ''this is no way to treat the protagonist'' or ''this padory isn't even SEGA related''.
''BY THE LAWS OF THIS MEH BURGER JOINT YOU ARE HEREBLY OBLIGATED TO WALK THE PLANK, SO GET OUT YOU DARN FREELOADER!'' As the doors of the fast food joint opened, the girl was launched into the floor as she landed on a bunch of leaves.
The girl quickly got up spitting the leaves that had landed on her mouth and responded back to the crustacean.
''FINE HAVE IT YOUR WAY YOU CHEAPSTAKE CRAB, YOUR RESTAURANT FOOD TASTES WORSE THAN EGGPLANTS EITHER WAY!'' the purple haired girl shouted back to the now closed doors of the restaurant.
As she got up, she started looking around herself as if looking for something only to shout back once again at the fast food joint.
''HEY BUDDY I HAD A SWORD WITH ME, YOU BETTER GIVE IT BA-'' The girl couldn't finish her sentence as a sword was quickly launched trough the doors.
The girl barely had time to react to the high velocity projectile, as she failed to dodge the hilt of the sword had hit her on her forehead as only one word escaped her lips.
''NEPU!'' The girl said as she fell backwards once again into the leaves with her sword besides her.
The girl stood there for a while contemplating the sky once again before she sighed ''Great job Neptune, really great job, you lost another job in this strange new world'' the girl identified as Neptune said.
This wasn't supposed to happen to her she though.
She was supposed to be the protagonist, the plot for sure would rail her into an awesome and dangerous adventure where she would recover her powers, meet new friends, find her old ones and her sister and finally be back at home by the end of it.
Yet, here lies the patron goddess of Planeptune, depowered, homeless, an uknown to all these people, lost in this strange new world.
Make no mistake, dimensional shenanigans were already a thing she was used to, the ultra dimension and the mega dimension were already witness to that.
And yet nothing here was working the way it usually went for her.
It is almost like if the villains of the story were the ones getting all the interesting plot hooks or something.
She normally wouldn't be this upset about things if there wasn't one little thing nagging her constantly.
It was her fault they were here in the first place.
Nep jr. did warn her to not connect anything else to the power grid when she was testing that new dimensional machine.
But she had to go and connect the tv to play with Plutia and Uzume who had come to play with the two of them.
Things were already collapsing on Jr. lab when the 3 of them got there and then a bright light and a sound of something shattering.
''Truly sister of the year aren't I'' Neptune said in a unusual sarcastic tone.
No one could blame her, after that everything has been going nowhere but downhill.
She had no way to regain her powers, the lack of a sharecite or a magical mcguffin make sure of that, alongside the lack of faith, it was hard selling herself as a goddess when she couldn't even transform to begin with, she also was lacking funds as credits weren't accepted as a currency here, not that she had much to begin with, she may or may not gambled away everything at that find the golden lid for a lifetime pudding supply.
Hah Histy said it was a foolish idea, but she was laughing like a madman when she won the thing.
Now if said lifetime supply just wasn't on her home dimension to begin with it would be great.
Housing wasn't much better too, she had a little hideout where she slept and everything.
But then came some weird emo guy and set everything on fire.
As for employment, well she tried her hands with the restoration.
It ended up badly when she started treating the wolf girl like her good old pal Noire.
Seriously that girl had some serious problems, that she needed, who was it a teraphist or psychiatrist? or in this case would it be a veterinarian?.
The pay wasn't good either really, most stuff was pro bono and for some reason destroying those robots when they were a problem didn't give out much levels as fighting herd of dogoos would have.
Like don't mistake her, she has a big heart and is willing to help people, but nuts and bolt won't cover her pudding intake.
The less she thinks about G.U.N. the better, most of them were stuck ups for the rules.
Well apart from Marco and Ronald, those guys were cool company for the week she lasted there.
But seriously, not even Histy threw rants like that Walters guy, he really needed a chill pill.
Now there was Meh Burger.
She refuses to ever step a foot again in a job that needs to deal with the public in that way.
No sir, seriously, even the villains have more standards when treating people like utter trash.
She really missed the guild where she could just spam some easy stuff for money
As Neptune got up she sighed once again, but instead of a frown, resolve was on her face.
''Well world if you think you are going to keep this protagonist down well you are pretty wrong'' Neptune said to herself as she started walking.
''Hmm still wonder where I should go now, already tried the Restoration, already tried G.U.N., the guy south looks like a grade A creep, hmm, maybe the funny mustache man has a job spot free?, like I know they said he is evil over here, but ever since the red guy rage quit he has barely done anything over here, like no monster attacks or anything, besides doubt anyone with those dance moves could be truly evil, oh maybe he is one of those friendly saturday morning cartoon villains, says he is evil, but is mostly an annoyance at best and is actually buds with the heroes on his off time.'' Neptune said as she continued walking still weighting her options.
She may be odd for rmany people, but no one could deny the girl had the drive to get things done, when she wasn't slacking around at least.
Well only the future knows what holds for the at the present fallen deity of planeptune.
Not that anyone would believe it until proven the contrary, which will not happen anytime soon. AN: Well here we go with another omake, got inspired from the info Boohoo said about the QM's wanting to include Neptune and at best the other Sega goddesses from hyperdimension Neptunia, but couldn't really find a way to nerf them.
To that I say, there is no need to nerf them when in-game shenanigans like these already nerf them to base level.
Like the reason of why Neptune always starts back at level 1 in-game it is because she is a grade A slacker.
Otherwise a goddess would really be nerfed over here, the lack of a sharecite means they don't have access to their biggest gun and main form of defense, there is no magic mcguffin to give them back that kind of power really and even then said goddess form would mostly work like El Gran Gordo trait works, it is a minimal stat boost unless they get the faith of other people to believe in them.
Neptune itself would be quite the tricky unit to handle too, in my mind she would work as a composition of 3 units, Mechanically she is like Yahna, a tier 3 only in name at the moment, she is a rpg protagonist, meaning you will have to grind up those levels if you really want to get her up to par to really be a tier 3.
Then for those that also watch Hellfish, she would combine both Flanders and Homer worst traits, Neptune herself is an oddball and that attitude won't sit well with everyone, some will find her charming, while others will loather her inmediatly just by seeing her as they cannot stand her personality being similar to Ned neighborino trait.
Finally she is a slacker on the level of Homer, even if the job is saving the world, she sometimes will kick down the can until it is the last possible minute, yes she would totally have the infamous box of donuts.
Otherwise in her base form, mid power probably top 15, mid logistic probably 18 at best as she is really not the sharpest tool in the shed outside of her goddess form, Brain is outright her dump stat alongside trickery in which doesn't involve annoying people, good heart with probably 25 to 30 due to her nature and a nice mystic probably at 25 top due to her nature, but outside that she would be a high investment, high risk, high reward unit.
Well hope everyone likes this omake, will probably wait for the maw one for turn 9 batch.
You know, Stone of all people got some GAINS in span of one turn.
Not only he got +1 Trickery from Adventure, he got another +5 because of Storm, for total of +6. And he already was wee bit over 20, so that makes him very close to that 30. He is now one of our best Trickery units, and has more then our ninja minion which is crazy.
AND he also got +4 Power on top of that. GruGru's getting a feeling that Stone is becoming our own 'built-it-yourself' James Bond here - although he needs extra Heart to really crank up the charm some of Bonds have.
Speaking of Heart, Storm herself got impressive +5 in that stat, and she's over 20 now. Very close to Clover, in fact.
Regardless, she's certainly even better leader for her Clan then even before, and if we don't ever get to recruit other martial artist, she's our best pick for that.

The world returns to you in a rush of bright light and data.
Optics blazed online as your core whines with energy, internal diagnostics screaming across your systems. You were upright and restrained, but not in a traditional stasis pod. The air was warm, not sterile. The scent of oil and wood fills your olfactory sensors.
Threat detected.
Your arm moves before you could assess the situation, freshly repaired systems grinding with the speed of your reaction. Swinging forward in a blur, aiming at the shape hovering just outside of your visual sensors.
A high pitched yelp fills the room as a wooden puppet-like figure tumbles backward with wide, panicked eyes. Your hand stops inches from its carved face—not of your own volition, but because something else had caught you.
The grip was cold, firm, unyielding…
And familiar.
Head turning slowly, you take in one of your captors.
Silver Sonic.
Clear signs of fresh materials cover the doppelganger of Sonic the Hedgehog, its glowing blue visor flashing with light as your own optics lock with it. There is a tension in the air as you focus on a relic of your father's failures.
"Restraint protocols engaged," it intones, voice barely more than a text to speech function given a twinge of life..
"Release me." Your optics narrow at the failure. "That is an order, Badnik." You spit the word out, the failures that came before you.
"No sudden movements," came a new voice.
The puppet, the thing you nearly destroyed, was pushing itself to its feet, brushing sawdust from its overalls with shaking wooden hands.
"I didn't think you'd wake up so fast," the wooden doll mutters, its 'lips' turning upward as it looks at you.. "Or that you'd try to knock my head off but… good morning I suppose?"
Your systems slow, recalibrating. No imminent threat. No mission parameters active. Your father's voice, absent.
"State your identity," You command the puppet. "Provide verification. Who are you? Where am I? How did I get here?"
The puppet held up a small, square drive.
"I dunno what it says about him that he was able to predict this, even if he wasn't sure exactly who you are." She mutters, looking at the device before very carefully edging up to you. Holding the drive as if it might bite her, she continues. "These are your authentication codes. Straight from the Doctor. Plug them in, and you'll know I'm not lying."
Your fee hand takes the device, scanning it through your palm. Lines of encrypted code unfurled through your mind. Genetic hashes, behavioral keymaps, direct neural imprint from him.
Authentic.
Your voice softens by a single notch.
"...Proceed."
The puppet smiled again, this time with less fear.
"I'm Belle. Belle the Tinkerer." She gives a small little wave, which you can tell is from her own wince is awkward. "And um… I'm… kind of one of your siblings?"
Sibling?
Your mind flashes, memories of your other sibling.
A.D.A.M…
But just as quickly that memory is gone as you take in Belle, further analyzing.
"A puppet." You state. It is not a question.
She nods. "Yeah I get this a lot."
"A Tinker unit. Unique construction. Sentience beyond standard AI or assistant units built by Father.. Implausible."
"Yeah…" Belle's up turned lips have lowered. "I get that a lot too..."
There is a beat of silence, during which the extended claw of Silver Sonic finally releases you as the restraints holding you fall away.
"You have provided some answers, now the rest. Where am I? How did I arrive here? The last thing in my memory banks is-"
As you try and access your memory of the last several minutes, before your arrival, you suddenly find yourself on your knees, Silver Sonic having grabbed your arm not in restraint, but to stop you from collapsing to the floor.
"Careful!" Belle is leaning down to look you in the optics. "We were able to repair you, definitely more than I had expected, but we're also pretty sure you've still got some software corruption."
Your mind…
Diagnostics comes back…100% of functions retained. 99% of memory retained.
"Acceptable levels." You intone, pushing the double away as you stand. "Now answer me Tinker unit."
Belle shrugs, rubbing the back of her wooden head. "Well I mean, this is the repair garage? We just recently finished building it and you were one of the first who've actually gone through the automatic process, the only thing left was for me to give you a look over and then for you to use any of the other facilities you want to."
"Oh I know," Belle claps her hands together. "C'mon! Let me give you the tour!"
The garage… wasn't what you expected.
The walls were clearly Eggman design, plate steel reinforced with titanium support girders, stylized "E" logos etched proudly into every corner, your father's face as a large red logo or holographic projection everywhere.. But the rest...
The place glowed.
Warm yellow lighting lines the rafters, bathing the space in a gentle radiance. Wooden tables and tool benches everywhere, polished and carefully arranged. There are oil baths, big ones, lined like hot tubs along the side wall, bubbles drifting lazily to the surface. Chairs shaped like recliners were labeled "Defrag & Massage," with neural input slots and energy flow meters. Several buffing stations whir softly, the largest unit polishing what appears to be a close copy of your Father's Death Egg Robot, but with some small differences.
It was... serene.
It was wrong.
You stopped walking.
"What... is this place?" she demanded.
"It's the start of something new." Belle stops, glancing back with a hopeful smile. "A home, kind of. It's… it's something that we made to fix things. Not just put things together, not take them appart, but a place my Papa would be proud of. A place built to take care of things, sometimes even people. Like us."
"Explain. Immediately."
Belle sighs and leads you to one of the sets of wooden furniture, motioning for you to sit, which you do not.
"The Eggman Empire… isn't like it used to be," Belle says. "Yeah, he still builds machines. Still wants power. But... he's changing. Things are changing. We're showing him that brute force alone won't get him everything he wants."
"'We?'"
"Me. And others like me. Some robots, some not." Belle smiles gently at you. "People who helped the Doctor see that building is just as powerful as breaking. He's listening more now. Doesn't always like it, but... he's trying."
You let your processors work that statement over.
Dr. Eggman. Father. The man who demanded total control, who saw compromise as weakness. Listening?
You almost laughed. You have never heard of such a ridiculous idea before.
"And the purpose of this place?"
"To maintain us. Heal us. Let us rest." Belle gestures around proudly. "Machines need downtime too. Maybe not emotional, but functional. Things like the DARC-EGG robot don't need mental health days like people do, but proper maintenance and services matter. The Doctor wants his creations to last now. Not just serve and break."
Your voice dropped low. "You say this... with pride."
Belle nods.
Your optics flick to movement towards the sidewall.
Silver Sonic is stepping away from the tour and approaching one of the oil baths and gently lowering itself into one.
The hiss of warming fluid surrounds it, sensors embedded in the rim light up, gently pulsing as it settles into place. Its optics dimmed slowly, like closing eyes.
It… exhales. Not a breath, but a quiet venting of air.
You watch, stunned.
"You choose to do this?" you ask. You're unsure who you're asking the question to, the Silver hedgehog, the puppet, or the man omnipresent in the room without even being there.
Silver Sonic didn't respond, but it posture was unmistakably relaxed.
"It's his favorite." Belle chuckles. "Sometimes he stays in there for hours. He's only been online for a few days, but he really likes that one."
Your fingers flex slightly at your sides.
You… couldn't remember the last time Father allowed you to rest. You don't remember ever wanting such a thing, the idea never having crossed your mind even. Your entire existence has been directives, execution, and brutality.
And now, this.
"How long…" you ask, your voice quiet even to your own finely tuned sensors, "has it been this way?"
"Months now," Belle replies, as if that is not a revelation of the ages. "Ever since the Doctor decided he needed more than just weapons. He's not perfect, but he's learning. We're showing him how to build an empire that doesn't have to grind itself down to grow."
You turn to look at her. Your optics are not enough, your default threat analysis programs still showing this girl as no threat, but from her own words she and hers have done more to change your Father than anything short of Sonic himself.
"You are... an anomaly," you finally manage.
"Thanks," Belle's eyes twinkle as she gives another awkward smile. "I think."
"You possess information I must acquire. About our Father. About the empire. About... you."
Belle stands, taking a step closer and taking your hand. "Then ask. I'll tell you anything I can."
You, Mecha 'M' Robotnik, servant and daughter to the most brutal tyrant Mobius has ever seen, stare at her. A strange blend of carved wood, paint, exposed servos, and Heart. A machine made to tinker, to fix, not to destroy. You would have once considered such constructs a waste of resources.
But Belle had changed something. Not just in Eggman. In Silver Sonic. In her.
"Then begin." Your voice is low, something raw in it.
Belle nods and gestures toward a low bench beside one of the defrag chairs. "Come sit. It's more comfortable to talk that way."
"I do not require comfort."
"No," Belle says with a soft grin. "But you're allowed to want it."
You hesitate. But only for a moment.
Then, you sat.

Power: 23 (Mecha has an impressive combat suite and knows several fighting styles, though she believes that the best place to use these abilities is at my side as a bodyguard.)
Heart: 9 (Able to maintain a facade of humanity when interacting with those who do not know she is one of my magnificent creations, she could pass for a normal woman with average communication skills simply enough.)
Logistics: 17 (As a right hand, she handled things like SWATbot allocations and the management of the movement of resources, but she is not a long term planner or a general by any means.)
Brains: 17 (Less intelligent than I would have made if I were the one creating her as my daughter, Mecha is still leagues above the average dolt and knows enough to not be a direct hindrance in the lab.)
Trickery: 6 (Mecha is only able to lie with a flat face and without showing any emotion. The humanoid facade does help with it, but she just sounds too robotic.)
Mystic: 1 (Mecha knows of mystic threats, but has dealt with few herself.)
Loyalty: 50
Traits
Daughter of Mine: Mecha is fantastically loyal, to the point that when my counterpart ordered her to self-destruct she did so. You can't buy that level of Loyalty. (Mecha's Loyalty for Eggman starts at 50 and cannot drop lower than that and has +10 to resist being forced to work against Eggman from outside forces.)
A Daughter's Duty: Mecha is an incredibly dutiful bodyguard and is always on high alert for any threat to my person. (Mecha has +10 to any rolls to find danger against Eggman and gains +10 to her Power when defending him)
Laser Eyes: Oh yes an absolute classic, I do have the best ideas when it comes to mechanical bodyguards don't I? (Mecha has highly destructive laser eyes which allow her to make Martial attacks at range and melt through metal walls. Neat!)
Legally Not A Terminator: The outer humanoid shell does hide a most ingenious mechanical skeletal form that is designed to terrify those who damage my daughter to such an extent. (When Mecha is below half health, attacks against her suffer a -5 penalty from her incredibly tough metallic skeleton.)
EDIT: I forgot this, my bad.
Additionally, Belle's 'Last Name Makes Sense' Trait has gained an additional +5, increasing the overall bonus to +15!
