... Having the Betrayer around is probably a terrible idea. Just because he's unlikely to betray us, doesn't mean he can't find someone else to betray in the area.
But those Knowledges are incredible, and I'm sure whatever happens will be hilarious.
Pulling from the lexicon, which has zero grammatical rules attached beyond what can be derived from the few overlaps, Dassoir + Horinar + Arva + '-n' or 'na' somewhere, could theoretically be arranged to translate both as "The Place that Corrupts with Forbidden Knowledge" (a not-bad name for a dark museum), but also "Trading Area for Things You've Seen" (...Souvenir Shop).Quick, someone figure out an Eltharin pun that includes a meaning for "The Gift Shop"![]()
Sold.Bahr is great because while Altdorf may be known for making inadvisable relic acquisitions, no one has yet tapped the market for inadvisable staff acquisitions.
Yes Paht, and I'm sure the fact they all met you is just a coincidence.~You know for a fact that the Books of Nagash were crawling with magics that were supposed to make them impossible to replicate, but you couldn't go a decade without tripping over someone looking to add a new branch to that family tree, and more often than not they succeeded.
TBH my understanding is although elven legal adulthood is at something like 100 years old, that's more on the level of expertise the elves consider the BASICS of a subject and an elven 16 year old is indeed at much the same level of development as a human 16 year old. That sixteenth year time limit is so funny, honestly. Thousand year lifespans and Khaine decides his curse runs on human YA adventure novel rules.
honestly that would be quite touching. subverting a title so ominous with something so personal. Like mathy adopting a cat called morr.lack Regimand much? Some juicy knowledge too. But no, the thing that strikes me most is just the idea of Bahr heading out for his next big adventure, and Paht going all "You think now to betray us once again, Bahr."
And then the melodramatic duologue about Bhar's cunning and devious plan and his sudden but inevitable betrayal just being a form of well wishing for his next big adventure.
Especially as I can see him becoming a staff member who's "Betrayal" involves him heading off into some other part of the world for a few turns every now and then.
