YES, I want the blessed/cursed elven teenager. I have no idea how that's going to end but with Paht mentoring them there's no way it won't be entertaining.

It pains me to see Governor winning, for it being "the opposite approach" makes me think it is mutually exclusive to Princess developments. I really want to loot sunken elven ruins.

It is very likely to shut off that avenue to Tiranocian influence. Aelsabrim probably isn't going to want to sabotage the Citadel if she's coruling it. But there would be other ways to get the influence that would make those talks possible.
 
If this were a plan vote, there'd be some obvious synergistic pairings: Black Lion + Businesswoman (for Beastmaxing), Lie of Aenarion + Governor/Princess (for an Ulthuan exhibit) and any of the Necromancer options + Widow (the likeliest to result in getting materials relevant to our current patron's affinities).

Of the three, I think I like the Ulthuan options the best, so

I'm torn between Governor and Princess, and think it's still too early for Widow. Overall though, I think sending undead divers to dig up treasures from a sunken city is just a cool vibe, so I want to make that happen.

I think widow is likely to remain open, but the others may not if she gets outed as a necromancer before she has power and influence.
 
Actually, thinking about it, for Elven military relics specifically, "Weaponry (Detailed)" is more likely to be relevant than "Ulthuan (Surface)", and we know what both staff with that option have going for them beyond that specialty, rather than the (admittedly enticing) mystery box of the Lie's "???"

I'm voting for Barrow King out of flavor interest, even though I'm also voting for the statistically more huge option that Bahr, who essentially comes with all of the BK's skills and *then some.* Tragic that I gotta choose between cool skeleton team and "big betrayer and his collection of artifacts"

Lie of Aenarion is a one time choice. The Mystery box the kid represents is going to Pop Off *next round* and I would love to inject the drama of it would add to our fun museum. Paht is, in all things, a teacher and *damn* I don't know that you could ask for a more attentive student. Who better to go "let us, yet again, facilitate excellence"

Okay, so the Princess.
Feeling like i'm going to be fighting the tide when her whole conceit was what the Widow Option represented, but leaning into the political complication that her Princess blood represents feels more textualy interesting! It leans into the piracy of the coast, it serves as a tool in service of our Grand Patron! And making her the attractive option back to the mainland is a coup of *incredible* leverage that I feel would be wasted otherwise.

Any kid that likes animals is a good kid. Fact.

And Paht has a great track record with impressionable youths, even if a small minority sometimes cause problems for other people.

I can't see any downside to making a new friend, of Aenarion's lineage, keeping them busy helping us raise a menagerie of diverse and colorful beasts (you might even call it an army, ha ha), and teaching them all manner of exciting things about magic and of course some dark arts too. As friends do.

Really, it sounds like fate!
